I just found this set in the Cotg archives and I think it's has some great writing in it. I really want to play this set and was wondering if there is planned any more sets now that we are almost at 2129 in the GWF years? I want to know who the mysteries guy is who is coming to 2125 and what other updates were originally planned.
Plus Werner Mack did an awesome job on the artwork of the characters. My favorites are Bloodmonger, Slash and Hack. If there is going to be on Aethran Wrestler going to rebel against Aethran Overmaster, I would like to see him kinda get the iconic feel of the old Ultimate Warrior. Of course, this is just my thoughts as I'm thinking them out loud.

That AAW stuff was a knockout effort all-around from all parties involved. It would be cool to find out where the story was going, but there's enough there as-is to make it one of the more stellar bootleg efforts of the last five years.

That project was very generously created/funded/donated to the community by board member Chuck Clouser Jr. aka Cernunnos. If you want to send him a creative inquiry or a well deserved thank you note, you can PM him here.

There's a lot of cool Aethran bootlegs in the archives! I've often toyed with the idea of having an Aethran PROVING GROUNDS Territory at some point?! Mr. Clouser's set would really fit well in that environment!

Anyway, do you think we can get him and Werner to pick it up again or add to it?

Thanks for all of the kind comments! I appreciate them. AAW: Aftermath 2124 was a huge success! Yes! I do plan on releasing 2125 set and have all of the wrestler stats ready to go! I just need to finish art and coloring with Werner. The delay is on my part! I am toying with some new mechanics as well for this set. One mechanic revolves around tagging out more fluently to a familiar tag partner, while another helps lighten the blow from Add 1 attacks… Thanks. I had a fun time planning them with him and he did an awesome job of creating things that I saw (and for the most part didn’t see) in my mind’s eye. I have someone gunning for Bloodmonger in 2125 beware! He is on the level of Chaos of old! There's a lot of cool Aethran bootlegs in the archives! I've often toyed with the idea of having an Aethran PROVING GROUNDS Territory at some point?! Mr. Clouser's set would really fit well in that environment! And not to mention your sets as well. They are awesome and can help fill in roles as needed. Btw… my set was successful mainly because of your efforts/time/design and input into the wrestlers/mechanics themselves. Thanks!

Thanks for responding Cernunnos! Keep us in the loop man, cause I can't wait to see what you have planned for AAW.

I agree with the other comments. This set was top of the line.

I concur.
I've been using several of the cards in my Bootleggers Blowout tourney.
It was a 128 man tourney, and Blood Monger made it to the third round where he fell to The Bionic Hedgehog. The Bionic Hedgehog eliminated his tag team partner, Metadillo, in the Sweet Sixteen. The Hedgehog went as far as the Final Four.
Slash also made it to the Sweet Sixteen.
I haven't even gotten around to using the tag teams yet, but I will be real soon. Im considering bringing The Hedgehog and Metadillo into my GWF fed but they may be too devestatingly badass and unbalance the entire tag team division.
I LOVE the Add 1 mechanic. It can really add flair to the story.
