Uploaded to the Ring of Honor YouTube Channel: "We'll Fix Everything."Cell phone video - The camera approaches a big pick-up truck parked in a shopping center. A somewhat familiar voice accompanies the footage. “Well, what do we have here?” The camera peers into the bed of the truck. Sprawled out among empty beer cans and whiskey bottles is Mark Briscoe. A tattered bandage hangs from his face, partially covering his eye. He is roused by the presence of the cameraman. “Wha-?” “Hey there, buddy. It's okay. Do you need some help?”“No…,” Briscoe blubbers. “Here, let me give you a hand. Let’s get you something to eat. We can talk about it.”A hand with polished black fingernails reaches in Mark’s direction. Mark pushes himself up, taking the hand, and gets out of the truck. He stumbles in the direction of a nearby diner. The camera follows him. An encouraging voice says, “We’ll fix everything. I promise.”
This was the most interesting Upload of yours, very cool write-up and I look to see where this story takes Mark Briscoe and us the reader... I've got to agree 100 percent... You've got the start of a VERY intriguing angle here...

Crimson Cross, Pariah - Thanks for the comments guys! I'm taking Mark Briscoe in a darker, more serious direction than we are used to seeing irl.
RING OF HONOR TELEVISION
2014 Season Episode 29 Survival of the Fittest Qualifying MatchKazarian def. Rocky Romero by pin Kazarian made his ROH television debut, dishing out a lot of punishment to Romero. Kaz had some difficulty putting Rocky away and the Forever Hooligan got his shots in. Fade To Black by Kazarian earned him a spot in SotF. Adam Cole came to the ring dressed in a suit. He mocked Homicide for underestimating him. He said Homicide taught him how to be more violent but that he learned from other people as well. Steve Corino showed him that the rules only prevent you from winning. But he figured out himself that he would get nowhere in someone else’s shadow. To get the spotlight he had to take it from someone else; that person being Homicide. He went on to say that he declined to face Homicide this week on TV because, as he learned from Mike Bennett, one has to pick their time and place. The smug smile left Cole’s face as noise from the crowd alerted him to Homicide storming the ring. Cole bailed and Homicide chased him out through the crowd. Survival of the Fittest Qualifying MatchBJ Whitmer def. ACH by submission Whitmer moved on to SotF with a quick victory, making ACH tap out to a Peruvian Necktie. INSIDE ROH: Survival of the Fittest is right around the corner! Just added to the card: Matt Taven and Rhett Titus have signed to face each other in a grudge match! More announcements next week, fans! ROH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPRoderick Strong(c) vs. Matt Taven w/Truth Martini no contest The two competitors only had the chance to lock up before Rhett Titus came to the ring and attacked Taven. Roddy stepped back while the pair slugged it out. Truth called out the Young Bucks and the H.O.T. put the boots to Titus. As Strong started to make his exit, Jay Briscoe came out and jumped him. Christopher Daniels also appeared and the three got into a scrap at ringside. The show ended with a Pier Six brawl that was totally out of control. Next: Tommaso Ciampa defends the ROH World Television Championship against Kyle O'Reilly!

More superb action heading toward SotF!
I really enjoyed Adam Cole's monologue... Extremely well done - I actually envisioned him standing in the ring, discussing the lessons he has learned from dealing with others... Great character building!

RING OF HONOR TELEVISION
2014 Season Episode 30 Survival of the Fittest Qualifying MatchCedric Alexander def. Bobby Fish by pin Cedric scored the upset by outmaneuvering Fish and planting him with a full nelson facebuster for the 1-2-3. As Alexander’s hand was raised, Steve Corino looked to ambush him but Nigel McGuinness got up from the announce position and blocked his way. Corino smiled and backed off. Pre-taped promo: The H.O.T. Matt Taven: “That loser, Rhett Titus, cost me the ROH World Championship! What are we going to do about that, Truth?”
Truth Martini: “Don’t worry, Taven. We’ll squash that guy like a bug. Then we’ll get you another title shot. But I have something else to deal with first.”
Truth glared in the direction of Scarlett Bordeaux who looked anxious as Selizya Sparks loomed over her. Survival of the Fittest Qualifying MatchJay Lethal def. AJ Styles by pin Both men are top stars in ROH but only one would make it into Survival of the Fittest. Lethal came out aggressively and nearly made Styles tap out to a figure four leglock. It was an epic struggle but Lethal stayed a step ahead of AJ the entire time and took the pinfall with a Lethal Injection. The two shook hands after the match as the crowd chanted “That was awesome!”. INSIDE ROH: Survival of the Fittest 2014 takes place next week in Toledo, OH! In addition to the six-man main event, the ROH World Tag Team Championship will be on the line. Matt Taven and Rhett Titus square off in a grudge match! And just signed: Christopher Daniels faces the ROH World Champion, Roderick Strong, in a non-title bout! ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIPKyle O'Reilly def. Tommaso Ciampa(c) by DQ Ciampa pounded O’Reilly at first. The champion shrugged off most of Kyle’s early attempts at offense. However, the challenger started gaining momentum and Tommaso was shaken. O’Reilly came off the top rope with a cross body block that may have meant a new champion if Ciampa’s cohort, Jimmy Jacobs hadn’t interfered, causing Tommaso to be disqualified. The Fringe left the ring still in possession of the TV title. Next: Survival of the Fittest!

Pariah, bookerbill - Lethal winning was not entirely unexpected but I was hoping Styles would get into SotF. Uploaded to the Ring of Honor YouTube Channel: Scarlett's plea to Rhett Titus.Rhett Titus sits backstage, wincing as he adjusts the bandages on his injured ribs. Scarlett Bordeaux joins him, concern etched on her face. Scarlett: “Rhett, you shouldn't be wrestling like this. Take some time off.”Rhett: “I can’t do it, darling. I have a match with Matt Taven at Survival of the Fittest. He’s got some payback coming.”Scarlett: “Don’t do it! Call it off. There’s no telling what Truth has planned for you. I don’t want to see you get hurt any worse.”Truth Martini can be heard calling Scarlett's name in the distance. She looks over her shoulder, worried. Scarlett: “I have to go. Please. Consider what I've said.”Rhett: “Why don’t you just dump that creep? What does he have over you?”Scarlett has no answer. She gives Rhett a plaintive look then scuttles away. Rhett shakes his head, a disgusted look on his face.

Ominous chain of events involving Taven, Titus and Scarlett... Can't wait to see where the path through the darkened woods takes us... And who exactly will wind up being the Big, Bad Wolf...

Pariah - Taven/Titus pt.1 starts right here! Thanks for commenting! SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST 2014 October 25, 2014 Toledo, OH Christopher Daniels unexpectedly came out at the opening of the show. He said he didn’t want to wait any longer for his match with ROH World Champion Roderick Strong. They were going to do it now. Roddy came to the ring. It didn’t bother him to go on early, probably because his title was not on the line. Roderick Strong def. Christopher Daniels by pin Strong decimated Daniels with his hard-hitting offense. A string of signature moves was followed on the floor with backbreakers against the ring post and on the barricade. The champion performed a tombstone piledriver to put The Fallen Angel away. The fans were stunned and Daniels opportunity for a title shot looked to have faded away. AJ Styles & ACH def. The Gaijin Express by pin Bobby Fish and ACH started the match and it took very little time for Steve Corino to start harassing matchmaker Nigel McGuinness at the announce position. As things became physical, Styles stepped in and began brawling with Corino. Meanwhile, in the ring, ACH had no trouble with Fish, making him tap out to a cloverleaf. AJ made Corino retreat up the ramp as ACH held a furious Nigel back. Grudge MatchRhett Titus def. Matt Taven w/Truth Martini by pin Titus still sported bandaged ribs from the recent beating he took at the hands of the H.O.T. Taven and his entourage came out. Scarlett Bordeaux sheepishly trailed behind. Truth Martini stopped and ordered Scarlett to the back. Selizya shoved the smaller woman to make her comply and Rhett was obviously po’d about the mistreatment of his sweetheart. When the ref called for the Code of Honor, Titus double-legged Taven and started raining fists down on his head. The bell rang and Rhett waited for Taven to get to his feet before putting him right back down with the Sex Factor. Titus hooked a leg and the ref made the three count. Truth flipped his lid and Rhett started stomping Taven’s ribs looking for payback. Before any real damage could be done, Selizya got in position behind Rhett and delivered a low blow. With Titus down, the H.O.T. made a hasty exit. ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPThe Fringe def. Jay Briscoe(c) by DQ Briscoe came out alone once again, apparently to defend the tag titles by himself in the absence of his brother Mark. Before the match, Nigel McGuinness petitioned Jay to reconsider: “You know how dangerous these two men are. It would be irresponsible of me as matchmaker to allow this to go on.”Jay’s only response was “Bulls**t! Ring the bell!”Nigel reluctantly nodded when the ref looked for his consent. Jimmy Jacobs got the jump on Jay early but Briscoe fought back using one of the title belts as a weapon. Tommaso Ciampa tagged in and Jay unloaded on him as well. After a Jay Driller, Jimmy came in for the save and the Fringe, risking disqualification, pounded the outnumbered man. Jay and Tommaso traded offense. Briscoe fought like a cornered dog and took up a chair against Ciampa and was disqualified. The Fringe do not take this well and attacked Jay after the bell. Tommaso used a chair with Project Ciampa to injure Briscoe who needed to be helped to the back. Nigel looked upset about what had transpired and went to the back to check on Briscoe’s condition. SURVIVAL OF THE FITTESTSix-Man EliminationJay Lethal vs. Mike Bennett vs. BJ Whitmer vs. Cedric Alexander vs. TaDarius Thomas vs. Kazarian Thomas started out against Alexander. TD rocked his opponent who had to tag out to Kazarian. A hangman’s neckbreaker by Kaz set up a cross body block from the top rope for the pin, eliminating Thomas. An ambitious Cedric jumped back in but Kazarian almost pinned him with Back to the Future. Kaz tagged in Lethal who went for a Lethal Combination for a near fall. Alexander fired back and got a two count after a full nelson facebuster. Cedric tagged in a reluctant Bennett. Lethal came back against Bennett and tagged Whitmer in. BJ took Bennett to the floor and did some damage. As the match went on, Cedric showed a lot of heart, kicking out of several pin attempts. A Lethal Injection finally did him in. The crowd cheered his effort despite his being eliminated. Lethal and Kazarian both worked over Whitmer. Kaz used Fade To Black and BJ was eliminated. Lethal took over against Kazarian and scored another elimination with a Lethal Injection. Bennett had been on the floor recovering and saw that it was down to him and Lethal. He tried talking Jay into giving him more time but Lethal was having none of it. Mike took the advantage but Lethal survived two Box Office Smashes and a Photo Finish. Jay won a brawl on the floor and went to the Lethal Injection again for the win. Jay Lethal was the 2014 Survival of the Fittest winner! Current Rankings: - Roderick Strong
- Jay Lethal
- AJ Styles
- Tomasso Ciampa
- Jimmy Jacobs
- Mike Bennett
- Rhett Titus
- Matt Taven
- Jay Briscoe
- Christopher Daniels

Disappointed that The Fallen Angel seemed to have more enthusiasm during his prematch speech than during his actual title shot... Hoping there's more here than meets the eye...
Although brief, Taven vs. Titus delivered the goods... Gonna be exciting to watch this as it continues to escalate...
No one is taking those tag straps without a fight... Jay Briscoe is one bad mutha'...
Awesome finish by Lethal to win SotF! And another excellent show is in the books!
