It seems there are some differing opinions around Matt Taven and Damien Martinez. Let's keep it civil people! This journey is only beginning! I can't possibly keep it civil when it comes to that "melvin" Matt Taven As for the latest broadcast, I loved that main event with Dem Boys beating the Bucks and RPG. Anytime that the Bucks are upset is a good time for me Strong wins for Joey Daddiego and Kenny King underneath. It was good to see King pick up that all-important Field of Honor win.

Gotta love Taven vs. Martinez. Asking them to be civil is like putting an elevator in an outhouse. Just don't belong! LOL.
Fun card, big Briscoe fan, so glad to see them win!

Justin Case , TTX , cruefan68 - Looks like we have some Briscoes fans in the crowd. They're going to need your support as it looks like they will be defending the ROH World Tag Team Championship against the Young Bucks at Supercard of Honor! Meanwhile, here's some other Supercard business. Posted on Ring of Honor Wrestling's Facebook page: Jay White and Flip Gordon backstage. Flip is holding the broom he took from Kenny Omega during the last television episode. Jay - “Flip, I want to thank you for having my back out there tonight.”Flip - “No problem. I only just got to Ring of Honor and I’ve already seen how Kenny Omega does business.”Jay - “That’s right. And maybe, if you are willing to help me out, we can take the fight back to him.”Flip - “I’m there for you, man. We just need to find one more to even the odds.”Jay - “Thanks, mate. And I think I know someone with the moxy to help us.”Jay takes the broom from Flip and looks into the camera Jay - “Kenny Omega, Infernal Affairs, we’re coming for you.”Jay angrily breaks the broom over his knee.

Supercard of Honor XII April 28, 2018 New Orleans Damien Martinez def. Shane Taylor by pin Taylor probably had his most impressive showing to date, going toe-to-toe with Martinez, who was not expecting such stiff competition. The battle got heated toward the end with Martinez putting Taylor through a table then finishing him with South of Heaven. Afterward, Damien pulled out another table and set it up as he had done in the past prior to putting many ROH stars out of action. He tested that the table was sturdy, then slapped it. He then looked around the crowd and grinned before leaving ringside, having only teased the return of his destructive ways. Beer City Bruiser came out for his scheduled match against Matt Taven. The latter’s intro played next but there was no sign of Taven after a couple of long minutes. There was an awkward buzz in the air. “Maybe Matt Taven saw Damien Martinez’s display with the table and thought it was a message for him,” Ian Riccaboni speculated. “I honestly don’t know what’s been going through Taven’s mind as of late.”Riccaboni then got word that a substitute would be wrestling in Taven’s place - the popular Cheeseburger. Cheeseburger def. Beer City Bruiser by pin Despite taking a clubbering, Cheeseburger pulled off the win by outmaneuvering his bigger opponent and putting him down for the three count with a super DDT. Adam Page & Silas Young def. Dalton Castle & Kenny King by pin This tag team contest featured Field of Honor participants with each team having a member from Group A and Group B. King had already defeated Young in Group B competition whereas Castle and Page had yet to meet in Group A action. Also of note was the fact that Young and Page were regular teammates in Two Fisted. Page and Young attacked at the Code of Honor. The referee restored order with Page and Castle remaining in the ring. The action was fast and furious and concluded with Silas getting some payback on King, pinning him after a Pee Gee Waja Plunge. Frankie Kazarian joined Ian Riccaboni on commentary. Kaz updated Ian on the neck injury he received in a brutal match he had with Matt Taven at 16th Anniversary. Kaz said he still wasn’t one hundred percent but that he would be back in action soon. Unsanctioned matchKelly Klein def. Chris Sabin by submission Ian Riccaboni explained the unsanctioned nature of this match and that Ring of Honor’s normal stance was not to promote intergender matches. An exception was being made for this contest mostly on the insistence of Kelly Klein. Ian and Kazarian discussed the circumstances that led to this confrontation with Kaz having the final word: “Chris Sabin and I go way back and I disagree with him going through with this match. I hope he doesn’t think this is going to be an easy payday because Kelly Klein can take care of herself.”The combatants followed the Code of Honor, Klein grudgingly, Sabin mockingly. Sabin was a step ahead in an exchange of strikes and Klein ended up on the floor. Chris hit a Leap of Faith but Kelly soon recovered and knocked him around ringside. Back in the ring, Klein hit a Northern Lights suplex then flipped over and transitioned into the End of the Match which had Sabin immediately tapping out. “What did I tell you, Ian?” Kaz stated. “This was a no-win situation for Chris.”As Kelly’s hand was raised, surely experiencing a sense of vindication, Sabin’s Truthless teammates, the Young Bucks, ran down to the ring and looked to corner Klein. Before anything ugly could happen, the Briscoes intercepted and this segued to the scheduled tag team title match. ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPThe Young Bucks def. Jay & Mark Briscoe(c) by pin Mark Briscoe took an awful beating at the hands of Matt and Nick Jackson. The Bucks were unsuccessful on multiple pin attempts and Mark finally reversed Matt with a Saito Suplex and tagged in Jay. The elder Briscoe opened a can of whoop ass on Matt but the Bucks turned the tide and nearly took the fall with a Meltzer Driver on Jay on two occasions. Mark tagged back in and had the advantage for a while but the Bucks bounced back again and had him in trouble. The Bucks non-stop assault brought the match to a close as Mark was pinned following More Bang For Your Buck and new ROH World Tag Team Champions were crowned. Field of Honor Group B matchChristopher Daniels def. Joey Daddigo by pin “Chris has been in this business for a long time and this may be his last run,” Kazarian said during the introductions. “As his best friend, there is nobody who wants to see him win the championship more than me.”Daniels was 1-0 in Field of Honor competition while this was Daddiego’s first match in the tournament. Daniels backed up his words about being all business. As soon as the bell rang, he caught Joey with a running neckbreaker and followed with Last Rites trying to finish fast. “The Fallen Angel” was full steam ahead and scored a statement pinfall with the Best Moonsault Ever. Kaz stood and clapped. “I told you, Ian. My partner is driven now more than ever!”ROH WORLD SIX-MAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPInfernal Affairs(c) (Kenny Omega & Roppongi Vice) vs. Jay White, Travis Gordon, and Will Ferrara double DQ Jay White had gathered allies to counter the numbers advantage he suffered against Infernal Affairs, revealing Will Ferrara as his third man for this title match. White’s crew had their work cut out for them, facing the much more experienced and honed team. Flip Gordon started out against Omega, still feeling the sting from getting schooled recently by Kenny. There was a fast paced exchange of counters but Omega quickly took over. Rocky Romero tagged in but Flip caught him with a handspring back elbow and tagged in White. Rocky and Jay traded offense with White nearly getting a submission with a Muta Lock. Ferrara was in next and got a near fall on Romero with a second rope hurricanrana. Will followed with a tornado DDT and another pin attempt. Beretta and Omega came in to break it up, drawing White and Gordon in. The match broke down with uncontrolled brawling in and out of the ring. White tried getting his hands on Omega but “The Cleaner” made a hasty retreat just as the referee had the match thrown out. The first wild encounter between these two teams did not end conclusively, only promising there would be more battles to come. Austin Aries def. Jay Lethal by pin Aries had been dogging Lethal since 16th Anniversary after comments Jay made about former ROH champions. Both men approached the Code of Honor with caution and got a smattering of applause for their sportsmanship. Aries got off to a fast start but Lethal caught him with a counter roll up in the corner for a near fall. Jay applied a figure four leg lock and a Koji Clutch which were both escaped by Aries. Lethal later countered a jump from the top rope by Austin with an Ace Crusher for another two count. Lethal pressed the advantage but Aries came back with a Death Valley Driver and a Crucifix Bomb. A second Crucifix Bomb set up a flawless 450 Splash by Aries for the three count. The crowd stood to show their appreciation and there was a pregnant pause before Lethal shook Aries’ hand, drawing more cheers from the crowd. Despite the good showing by Lethal, the current ROH World Television Champion, one has to wonder what this loss means to his momentum in the Field of Honor tournament. Current Rankings:
ROH World Champion - vacant
- Christopher Daniels
- Jay Lethal
- Jay White
- Dalton Castle
- Joey Daddiego
- Adam Page
- Kenny King
- Silas Young
- Chris Sabin
- Rhett Titus

Justin Case , TTX - Thanks for the comments guys! Now after some delay, we return to our program.
RING OF HONOR TELEVISION
2018 Season Episode 13 Frankie Kazarian joined Ian Riccaboni on commentary. Kaz updated everyone on his neck injury and said that he expected to be back in action on the next live event. Kenny Omega def. Travis Gordon by DQ This was a rematch from a month ago when Omega won an underhanded victory over the debuting Flip Gordon. “Do we really have to do this again?” Kenny asked, condescending to his eager opponent. “The veteran pulled a fast one on young Mr. Gordon in their last match,” Kaz informed the viewing audience. “Let’s see what tricks Omega has up his sleeve this time around.”This match was an entirely different story than the first. The pace was off the charts with a lot of counters but Flip’s offense started to land. A Kinder Surprise toppled Omega to the floor. This is when Kenny resorted to trickery once again. As the two fought around ringside, Omega used his spray can on himself and tossed it to Gordon who was caught ‘red handed’ and disqualified. The crowd was in an uproar over the miscarriage of justice but Omega, paint covering his face, just laughed his way to the back. “Well, there you have it, Ian,” Kaz stated. “Another lesson learned by Flip Gordon.”“And what would you say that lesson is?”“Not to wrestle Kenny Omega, I guess.”Field of Honor Group B MatchKenny King def. Joey Daddiego by pin With King at 1-1 in Field of Honor competition and Daddiego at 0-1, the loser of this match would effectively be eliminated from the finals to crown the new world champion. This was a well fought contest with both men commanding advantage more than once. Daddiego got stronger the longer the match went on but he still ended up falling to the Coronation from King. Field of Honor standings GROUP AJay Lethal (1-0) Jay White (1-0) Adam Page (0-1) Dalton Castle (0-1) GROUP BChristopher Daniels (2-0) Kenny King (2-1) Joey Daddiego (0-2) Silas Young (0-1) Ring of Honor presents State of the Art, live from Dallas, Texas! The main event features a Field of Honor match pitting ROH World Television Champion Jay Lethal against Jay White. The Briscoes will be in singles competition as Jay Briscoe faces Chris Sabin and Mark Briscoe takes on Beer City Bruiser. Tune in next week for more matches to be announced. Truthless (Chris Sabin & The Young Bucks) def. Jay & Mark Briscoe and Kelly Klein by pin Klein willfully informed Mark and Jay that she would be starting the match, to which they conceded. Nick Jackson stood across the ring from her. “I’ve already put you to sleep and I made him tap out,” she said, indicating Sabin. “Now it’s his turn.” She pointed at Nick’s brother Matt. The ROH World Tag Team Champions conferred and shook their heads. It would be Nick starting things out. Nick raised the ire of the fans when he treated Kelly like a man. Matt tagged in but Kelly turned the tide with a side backbreaker. The Briscoes hit Matt with the Doomsday Device but Sabin came in for the save. The Bucks took control with a Meltzer Driver then Chris put Mark away with Hail Sabin. As Truthless made their exit, Klein stood over Mark with her hands on her hips as he rubbed his neck. Jay tried to appease her but she just left, shaking her head, unhappy with how things had played out.

RING OF HONOR TELEVISION
2018 Season Episode 14 Damien Martinez def. Cheeseburger by pin Kazarian was with Ian Riccaboni on commentary and shared his thoughts: “I want to know who in the office has something against Cheeseburger, to put him in the ring with this monster.”This match opened with Cheeseburger comedically trying to German suplex Martinez. Showing a rare glimpse of his human side, Damien let the fans see his mirth with the smaller man’s efforts. To his credit, Burger did not get destroyed. He made a decent showing for himself but ended up getting knocked senseless with a Fist of Anarchy. Martinez covered for the three count, looking like a predator over it’s fallen prey. Austin Aries came out after the break and recounted defeating Jay Lethal at Supercard of Honor. There was a buzz from the crowd as Christopher Daniels made his way down to the ring. Aries eyed “The Fallen Angel” sharply as he got into the ring. Daniels offered his hand to Aries, who hesitated then slowly went to shake it. Chris asked for the mic and Austin handed it to him. “Austin Aries, I’m sorry for interrupting but I had to personally congratulate you on your victory against Jay Lethal. I’ve had some of my own trouble with Lethal and…”Aries cut him off with a raised finger. He then motioned for the mic back. Puzzled, Daniels turned it over. Aries looked aside for a moment, contemplating. He then looked to Daniels with fire in his eyes. “Who the hell do you think you are? I’m a three time Ring of Honor World Champion and you come out here during my time? And you. You’re just a guy who was never quite good enough. What makes you think you deserve to share a ring with me?”At that, Aries slapped the stunned Daniels across the face. A-Double glared at Chris who was looking at the mat, gathering himself. Daniels raised his head, anger seething in his expression. As things looked like they were about to get physical, Kazarian got up from the announce position to intercede. He put himself between the two and held his friend back as Aries spat epithets in his direction. Daniels began to calm but Aries remained aggressive. Kaz put an arm out to keep Aries at bay. Austin smacked it away. “Keep your hands off me!”Kaz coaxed Daniels out of the ring. As Kaz was about to step through the ropes himself, Aries clubbed him from behind. Dragging Kaz back into the ring, Aries unleashed with a Brainbuster, aggravating Kaz’s neck injury. Daniels jumped back in the ring, chasing Aries off. Chris saw to his friend and called for help from the back. Ian Riccaboni threw to a commercial. Roppongi Vice def. Jay White & Will Ferrara by pin Having assembled some allies, Jay White was now bringing the fight to Infernal Affairs. The teams started brawling before the bell. The ref worked to get White back to his corner as Beretta and Rocky Romero double teamed Ferrara. White was shut out of this match as RPG isolated Ferrara and got the win with Strong Zero. Field of Honor standings GROUP AJay Lethal (1-0) Jay White (1-0) Adam Page (0-1) Dalton Castle (0-1) GROUP BChristopher Daniels (2-0) Kenny King (2-1) Joey Daddiego (0-2) Silas Young (0-1) State of the Art comes to you live from Dallas, Texas in two weeks! Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions, the Young Bucks, take on Travis Gordon and Will Ferrara in a Proving Grounds match. If Gordon and Ferrara win, they will get a future tag team title match Kazarian faces Damien Martinez Mark Briscoe vs Beer City Bruiser Jay Briscoe vs Chris Sabin Jay Lethal vs Jay White in Field of Honor competition Come back next week for moreannouncements. Field of Honor Group A matchDalton Castle def. Adam Page by pin With both men at 0-1 in Field of Honor competition, this one was a must win. Page went for the fast finish with Rite of Passage but Dalton resiliently kicked out of the pin attempt. Castle had it rough for a while but reversed a slingshot lariat, catching Page with a knee lift/suplex combo. Dalton went to his classic grappling attack and got a near fall with a Deadlift German Suplex. Castle soon followed up with a Bang-a Rang spin-out facebuster for the win. Bookers Note: If you watch MLW Fusion, the Austin Aries brainbuster spot may look familiar. But this is one of those occasions where I had this spot planned out at least two weeks before that MLW episode aired. It’s always funny when you’re shown that there aren’t that many new ideas in the world. Especially when it comes to pro wrestling.
