RING OF HONOR TELEVISION
2018 Season Episode 15 The show opening saw ROH World Television Champion Jay Lethal somberly come down to the ring. He waited out the jeers of the fans before getting to what he had to say. He conveyed his dissatisfaction with losing to Austin Aries at Supercard of Honor. He said it was unacceptable for the only world champion in Ring of Honor to lose such a high profile match. So he has arranged with the ROH office to hold a public workout on tonight’s show. He wanted to demonstrate to the wrestling world that he hasn’t lost a step and that he was 100% confident he would win Field of Honor. He then called for his first sparring partner. Jay Lethal def. Shane Taylor by pin Lethal worked over Taylor with eye rakes and kicks to the face. After failing to make Shane submit to a figure four leg lock, Jay used the Lethal Injection for the easy pin. As Taylor was helped out of the ring, Lethal beckoned for another opponent. Viewers had to wait through the commercial break to see who was next. Jay Lethal def. Beer City Bruiser by pin Lethal was caught off guard by Bruiser who blasted him with a seated dropkick then dropped him on his head with the 2 Day Hangover. Bruiser took Jay to the outside which proved to be a mistake as Lethal made him pay for it. Jay tried for a submission win again with a Koji Clutch. Bruiser wouldn’t give and Jay so hit him with a Lethal Injection. To everyone’s shock and amazement, Bruiser kicked out of the pin attempt. After smacking Bruiser around some more on the floor, Jay dropped him with another Lethal Injection, this time for the pin. Field of Honor standings GROUP AJay Lethal (1-0) Jay White (1-0) Dalton Castle (1-1) Adam Page (0-2) GROUP BChristopher Daniels (2-0) Kenny King (2-1) Joey Daddiego (0-2) Silas Young (0-1) State of the Art comes to you live from Dallas, Texas! Christopher Daniels, Dalton Castle, and Cheeseburger face Two Fisted - the team of Silas Young, Adam Page & Joey Daddiego Kazarian battles Damien Martinez Kenny King steps into the ring with "Notorious" Shane Taylor The Young Bucks vs Travis Gordon & Will Ferrara in a Proving Grounds match. Mark Briscoe vs Beer City Bruiser Jay Briscoe vs Chris Sabin Jay Lethal vs Jay White in Field of Honor competition Join us next week in Dallas or live on iPPV at rohwrestling.com Back from another break, Jay Lethal was still in the ring and getting fired. He was on a roll and called out for another victim. When no one showed, Jay got on the mic. “Is there no else in that locker room man enough to face me?!” There was another short lull, then Christopher Daniels intro package began to play. This was not what Lethal expected and when Daniels appeared, Jay bailed out of the ring and wanted no part of “The Fallen Angel”. As Daniels tried coaxing Jay back into the ring, he was blindsided by Silas Young, his scheduled opponent. Young dragged Chris into the ring and the ref called for the bell to start the match. Field of Honor Group B matchChristopher Daniels def. Silas Young by pin Young had a chance to stay alive in the Field of Honor tournament, whereas a win by Daniels meant he would compete for the ROH World Championship at Best In The World. Struggling for the early advantage, it was Young seizing control with a vicious stun gun that had Daniels reeling. Silas held sway for a while with a Stock Lock and Last Real Man Lariat. Daniels had a lot of trouble getting on track. He scored a couple of big moves but they were not enough to keep the advantage. Finally, after reversing Silas with a Death Valley Driver, Daniels pounced on his shaken opponent with Angel’s Wings for the big come-from-behind victory. Daniels was now in line to battle for the ROH World Championship. As Chris celebrated in the ring, Jay Lethal reappeared at the curtain and watched, knowing that the pressure was on, now more than ever.

Daniels just continues to dominate even if this was come-from-behind.

TTX - Yes, Daniels is on a good roll which is a rare thing in this fed. State of the Art May 26, 2018 Dallas, TX Kenny King def. Shane Taylor by pin Taylor got off to a good start, battering King around the ring but missed a turnbuckle splash. Taylor withstood a Royal Flush and a submission attempt with a Last Chancery by King. Then King went into overdrive with frenetic offense. Taylor kicked out of the Coronation but King went to it a second time for the pin. Kazarian def. Damien Martinez by pin The wary Kazarian avoided Damien’s clutches at first but Martinez eventually brought the pain. Kaz did not lay down though and this was a good back and forth contest. Kaz pulled off a stunning victory as he reversed a Martinez attack in the corner and parlayed that into Fade To Black for the three count. Mark Briscoe def. Beer City Bruiser by pin Bruiser tried taking liberties with Mark at the Code of Honor but Briscoe wasn’t caught flat-footed. Briscoe closed this one out in short order with a Froggy Bow. As Ian Riccaboni was getting set for the next match, a disheveled man wearing a hoodie suddenly sat down next to him. The man’s identity was concealed by the hood. “Is he gone?” the man asked. “What?” Ian replied. “Is who gone?” “The Devil.”“The Devil?!” Ian exclaimed. “What in the world…? Who are you?”The man did not answer and kept looking over his shoulder. “Matt Taven? Is that you?”“Shh! He’ll hear you.”Matt cautiously pulled back the hood, revealing ratty hair, wearing sunglasses that sat askew on his face. “The Devil can always hear you.”“Well, uh…” Ian stammered, unsure. “You’re… you’re safe here.”“For now, maybe. Just for now…”Ian was taken aback by Taven’s bizarre behavior but composed himself and returned to the task at hand. Two Fisted (Adam Page, Silas Young & Joey Daddiego) def. Christopher Daniels, Dalton Castle & Cheeseburger by pin The trio of crowd favorites did battle with the rough customers of Two Fisted. Castle and Daddiego started things off with Castle wrestling circles around Joey. Cheeseburger and Silas Young came in for relief with Silas punishing Burger and getting a near fall with a Pee Jee Waja Plunge. From there, Two Fisted isolated Cheeseburger and it was all downhill from there. Daddiego came off the top rope with a double stomp to the back, leading to the pin on Burger. Proving Ground MatchThe Young Bucks def. Travis Gordon & Will Ferrara by pin The newly allied Gordon and Ferrara had the opportunity to make a big splash in one of their first matches teaming together. A win against the ROH World Tag Team Champions, Matt and Nick Jackson, would earn them a future title match. Unfortunately for the fledgling team, their opponents were the Young Bucks. Flip Gordon looked like he was going to get his team off to a fast start but that turned on a dime as he was finished with an Indytaker in a matter of moments. The Bucks gloated, and rightfully so, because they have looked unstoppable of late. Jay Briscoe def. Chris Sabin by DQ Minutes into this match, Sabin was disqualified after giving Briscoe a Cradle Shock onto a chair during a brawl on the floor. Chris left ringside in a huff, angry with the decision. “What’s got into Chris Sabin?” Ian Riccaboni asked. As they waited for the main event to get under way, Ian Riccaboni tried to engage with Matt Taven. “Taven, have you been following the Field of Honor tournament? Do you have a favorite?”“I’m being followed?! What do you know, Ian? Nevermind! There’s no time!”With that, Matt Taven jumped up and hopped the barricade, disappearing into the crowd. Field of Honor Group A Match Jay Lethal def. Jay White by pin This match could be seen as the possible tipping point in Group A to see who would go on to the finals of Field of Honor at Best In The World to become the next ROH World Champion. Lethal cut short an aggressive start by White and worked a figure four leg lock for a few minutes. Lethal then went to a dragon suplex for a two count. As White was getting back to his feet, Lethal hit him with a Lethal Injection for the dominating win. Lethal raised his hands in defiance of those who were predicting White would give him a run for his money. Meanwhile, White was despondent and clearly upset with his poor performance. Current Rankings:
ROH World Champion - vacant
- Jay Lethal
- Christopher Daniels
- Jay White
- Dalton Castle
- Kenny King
- Joey Daddiego
- Adam Page
- Silas Young
- Chris Sabin
- Jay Briscoe

On the Hunt - with The Briscoes. (GoPro footage of Jay and Mark as they approach what looks to be an abandoned chapel)
Jay - “BJ Whitmer got away from us last time but his trail has led us here.”
Mark - “I gotta say - this is a little creepy.”
(Inside, the boys walk down the aisle, dusty pews on each side of them. At the base of the pulpit, they find a tattered white shirt, stained with blood. As Jay inspects the garment, turning it around in his hands, Mark investigates the pulpit closer)
Mark - “Hey! Look at this! Someone left a note.”
(Mark’s camera focuses on the note long enough for it to be read)
“I tried to Save him but the Devil’s grip on his soul was too strong. And so, as the Lord proclaims, '...all the wicked he shall destroy'. I have failed but my Mission must go on.”
(Jay and Mark look at each other apprehensively)
Mark - “We knew the Yellow-Bellied Whitmer was an endangered species but maybe now it’s extinct.”
Jay - “Looks like this hunt is over.”
To be continued…?

reviler13 - Thanks reading and commenting! Glad to have you on board! Posted on Ring of Honor Wrestling's Facebook page: Abducted Matt Taven is lingering in the loading area behind the venue ROH is performing in. He is pacing back and forth, mumbling to himself, then notices the camera. “Get out of here! He’ll see!” Taven exhorts, trying to keep his voice down. While he is distracted by the cameraman, an SUV rapidly comes to a stop behind him and two unidentified men in hoodies jump out. They grab the struggling Taven and shove him in the back of the vehicle and drive off. The camera follows the car until it turns a corner and is out of sight
