RING OF HONOR TELEVISION 2014 Season Episode 12 Steve Corino w/Bobby Fish vs. Cedric Alexander Before the match could even begin, Corino and Fish attacked Alexander. They used Chasing the Dragon on Cedric and Corino looked over at matchmaker, Nigel McGuinness, talking smack as he landed punches to the prone Alexander. Cedric's partner, Caprice Coleman, came to help him but Bobby dropped him with Sleeps with the Fishes. The beating continued until Nigel could take it no more. He stripped off his jacket and climbed into the ring. Corino and Fish circled McGuinness, who adopted a defensive posture. Fish feinted with a kick and when Nigel reacted, Corino connected with a hard right. Nigel stumbled back and fell into the corner. “You just made the biggest mistake of your life,” said Corino. “You know Steve,” added Bobby. “I wonder if we need to teach our 'mate' here a lesson.”With things looking bad, BJ Whitmer raced to the ring and came to Nigel's side. Corino and Fish did a reset but didn't back down. Nigel got to his feet and called for the microphone. He pointed at Corino saying that if BJ was willing, they would do this tag match right now. BJ nodded and Corino and Fish accepted with some amusement. As C&C were helped from the ring, Nigel rolled up his sleeves. “You've had this coming, Sunshine!” Steve Corino & Bobby Fish def. BJ Whitmer & Nigel McGuinness by DQ The Gaijin Express went to work on Whitmer, double teaming him. BJ was in trouble and locked in the Fish Hook. Nigel came in to break it up and a wild brawl ensued. Once order was restored, BJ tagged in McGuinness and the fans went crazy. Nigel rocked Fish with some offense and sent him over the top rope with a running lariat. The crowd was on their feet as Nigel pursued Bobby and bashed him with the ring bell. McGuinness and Whitmer were disqualified and their opponents wasted no time fleeing to the back. The crowd applauded Nigel with a 'You still have it!' chant. INSIDE ROH: The main events for Supercard of Honor VIII are official! The Briscoe Brothers will defend the ROH World Tag Team Championship against The Fringe of Jimmy Jacobs and Tomasso Ciampa. And, for the ROH World Television Championship, Shelton Benjamin defends against Michael Elgin in a Ladder War! Michael Elgin promo: "Shelton, you've been going around using the ROH Television title belt as weapon to beat your opponents, including myself. What are you going to do in New Orleans when that belt is suspended twenty feet above the ring and you won't be able to use it to win? Instead, you have to climb a ladder to reach that belt, and you have to get it done before I do. I think your chances have just been narrowed. At the end of the night in New Orleans, there will be a new Television Champion, and that man will be Michael Elgin." Jay Lethal def. Kyle O'Reilly by pin The main event showcased two of the top contenders for Roderick Strong's ROH World Championship. Lethal had no trouble putting O'Reilly through his paces and finishing him with a Lethal Injection. Jay looked sharp heading into his title match with Strong at Supercard of Honor. Uploaded to the Ring of Honor YouTube Channel: Steve Corino and Bobby Fish are backstage at an ROH television taping. "Bobby, can you believe Nigel actually went through with that match?" "Unbelievable, Steve. But I'm glad because I've wanted to smack his cockney-spewing mouth for a while now."The two are interrupted by the arrival of 'The Zombie Princess' Jimmy Jacobs. "Excuse me. Steve, can I have a word?" "What's up, Jimmy?" "We've both recently been working to put a wrench in the gears of the ROH machine. This company has had it in for the both of us from the start. We've worked well together in the past. I think we should join forces. Together we could really strike a blow." "That's fine, Jimmy, only there's two problems with what you're suggesting. One, my problem is with Nigel McGuinness, not ROH. ROH is a great company. Two, I'm evil. You're just crazy. There's a difference. I'm sorry but we can't help you."Jacobs is obviously unhappy. His lips curl as if to respond but he just nods and stalks off. Corino looks at Fish. "That's a loose cannon we don't need to get involved with." "Suits me. I always thought he was a little creep anyway."

Roddy unleashed a hat trick of Sick Kicks and Lethal went down for the count. Matt Taven w/Truth Martini & Rhett Titus def. C&C Wrestle Factory by pin The ROH office has seen potential in the team of Taven and Titus and booked them for tonight. Taven pinned Caprice Coleman after an Arm Trap Headlock Driver as Titus prevented a Cedric Alexander save with a standing dropkick. ACH def. Chris Hero by pin Hero and ACH fought a very competitive match. ACH scored the upset with a Big bang Attack. Bobby Fish def. BJ Whitmer by pin The first half of the match saw these two go toe-to-toe. Fish used a variety of kicks and the Fish Hook but Whitmer was a warrior, fighting back. Each man went through a table before Fish was finally able to KO Whitmer with a Flying Fish Hook. After the win, Fish was joined in the ring by Steve Corino. The Gaijin Express looked to set upon Whitmer once again but Nigel McGuinness left the announce position to defend the man who came to his rescue against the pair on a recent television taping. Corino insisted that Fish leave the ring and removed his jacket, preparing to confront Nigel one-on-one. While McGuinness was focused on Corino, the recently banned Rhino crept into the ring. When Steve motioned for Nigel to turn around, Rhino charged and Gored the ROH matchmaker. The Man Beast continued his attack on Nigel as security entered the ring to restrain him. Rhino mowed through the security and officials but was eventually subdued and handcuffed. The crazed Rhino was removed from the building and Nigel was carried to the back. Adam Cole & Homicide def. Mark Briscoe was returning from an eye injury suffered at the hands of Jimmy Jacobs and the eye was still bandaged. Jay and Ciampa tore into each other. It was a violent brawl that left the ring. Jay sent Tomasso headfirst into the ring post and tossed him back into the ring. The Briscoes combined for a Spike Jay Driller for the win. Jacobs shook his head with disgust and left before Ciampa had recovered. ROH TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIPLADDER WARMichael Elgin def. Shelton Benjamin(c) The months-long feud between these two culminated in this much anticipated main event. The Television title was suspended high over the ring. Elgin dominated early with big suplexes but Shelton retaliated with a series of clotheslines. Benjamin then went to work on Elgin’s leg maybe hoping to diminish his ability to climb the ladder. Shelton hit Paydirt and set up a ladder and started to climb. Elgin recovered and met the champion at the top where they traded blows. Shelton dropped and Elgin reached for the belt. Benjamin tipped the ladder before the belt could be taken. Elgin used a Rolling Deadlift German Suplex and set the ladder back up. The two met at the top again and this time the situation was reversed. Shelton came out on top and it was Elgin tipping the ladder to prevent the win. After smacking Shelton around some more, Elgin delivered a Spinning Sit-Out Powerbomb and went for the belt again. Steve plead innocent and said that Nigel had heat with a lot of the boys and he couldn't be held responsible if one of them decided to go after the matchmaker. Nigel stated that Rhino had been arrested and that ROH management would be pressing charges.
