After watching Wrestlemania 29 . Thought I'd let you know , what I thought . Too many promos for me . The matches weren't that great (some were way to short ?) . Best match I'd say was Triple HHH v Brock .

Thought the show sucked. Poorly managed undercard, three main events largely failed to deliver. It's not a show targeted at wrestling fans anymore.

I was actually satisfied with the quality of the matches. I can't complain about matches being too short. I liked back in the early wrestlemania when there were quicker matches. Brock vs HHH was solid, as was Rock vs Cena, and Taker vs Punk.
What I didn't like about WM is the fact was the lack of surprises. The only surprise they had was Mark Henry defeating Ryback, which I thought was a mistake, especially since it now looks like Ryback will face Cena for the title. If you were going to have Ryback challenge Cena, why doesn't he win? Also if Ziggler was going to win the title, why didn't you have him cash in at WM instead of Raw?

What I didn't like about WM is the fact was the lack of surprises. Wouldn't it be fair to say though that WM is generally the most predictable show on the WWE calendar? The only surprise they had was Mark Henry defeating Ryback, which I thought was a mistake, especially since it now looks like Ryback will face Cena for the title. If you were going to have Ryback challenge Cena, why doesn't he win? I agree with you that they should've booked Ryback to win but WWE used MH's victory to set up Ryback turning on Cena. MH wouldn't have been in a position to challenge Cena on Raw for the WWE Championship without the win over Ryback at WM.

I thought Punk/Taker was the best match, while HHH/Brock and Rock/Cena both seemed to drag on too long. I enjoyed the Fandango/Jericho match but didn't think it was a Wrestlemania caliber match. All in all it wasn't worth the $60 I payed for it.

I understand WM is generally predictable, but they usually throw in a few surprises. With the exception of Henry over Ryback, nothing really jumped out at me saying "Wow I didn't see that one coming."
You still could have Henry lose to Ryback, but put up a great fight. When you have Henry challenge him, Booker T basically says the same thing " You have to earn it, you lost at WM Dawg!"
Or Henry Demands a rematch against Ryback. Henry loses to Ryback, and jumps him after the bell, only to have Cena save him. Cena helps Ryback only to have Ryback turn on him.

It was pretty lackluster, but given the bad lineup and build-up, it wasn't surprising. We split the cost with a few other people every year so it didn't sting too much.

Best match I'd say was Triple HHH v Brock . Entertainment wise, while it wasn't one of my favorite WMs, I had fun watching with a group of friends. I realize that I stopped being the target fan years ago, and I'm content to watch the big events with a casual interest. The numbers came back today, a huge success!
