Round 1 for the Shimmer Title

Mildred Burke took down a game Veda Scott with the Aligator Clutch. Veda actually had several moments in the match, before Mildred finally grabbed control and locked on the Clutch to score the submission

Ivory held off Jessie McKay with the Jumping Facebuster. This was an even matchup but Ivory was just a bit stronger on offense and finally caughter McKay offguard long enough to hit her finisher to win.

LuFisto took down Mia Yim with the Mangalizer. LuFisto was on fire here as she worked over Mia before locking on the Mangalizer for the victory.

Mercedes Martinez squashed Courtney Rush with the Fisherman Buster. This was over in just about a minute. Mercedes quickly reversed Courtney off a hip toss, then hit a leg sweep before using her finisher to score the victory.

Penny Banner took down Nicole Matthews with the Sunset Flip. Banner took everyhting Matthews could toss at her then worked her over on the floor before using a Small Cradle and then the Sunset Flip to win.

Saraya Knight just avoids a big upset from Saturyne finally winning with the Knightmare. Saturyne shocked everyone by keeping this close and nearly taking the win on a few occassions. However she missed a dive to the floor allowing Knight the opportunity to come back with the Knightmare to score the win.

Sara Del Rey took down Christina Von Eerie with the Royal Butterfly. Von Eerie did not want to go down but Del Rey just kept working her over before locking on the Royal Butterfly to take the match.

MsChif took down Joyce Grable with a sitout choke slam. Grable hung around for a while, but MsChif pounded her down with a variety of moves before hitting the choke slam for a three count.

Alison Danger (dressed as Cammy) took down Leilani Kai with the Shimmering Warlock. It looked like Kai was going to take this fairly easily but when she went for a stepover toehold, Danger kicked her into the turnbuckle, then hit Old School Expulsion, a Lovelace Choker and then the Shimmering Warlock to win.

Madison Eagles put away Daizee Haze with Hell Bound. Haze got in some early shots but Eagles battled back, used a flying knee strike to set up Hell Bound and scored the win.

Kellie Skater overcame Athena with Skate and Destroy. This was a very close match with both women having chances to win but Skater finally hit her finisher twice to take down Athena for three.

Ida Mae Martinez took down Judy Martin with the Dropkick. Martinez was a little much here as she caught Martin with a textbook Dropkick and scored a fairly easy victory.

Jazz forced Leva Bates (dressed as Chun Li) to submit to the Bitch Clamp. Bates almost took a big upset twice with Sharanui but couldn't keep her down as Jazz came back on the floor then locked on the Bitch Clamp to win.

Molly Holly finished off April Hunter with a handspring elbow. Holly dominated most of the match but Hunter made a short comeback. Molly reversed off the turnbuckle though and hit the Molly-Go-Round and then a handspring elbow to take the match.

Sherri Martel held off a tough Trinity DeNucci with the Top Rope Splash. DeNucci kept coming back but finally Martel hit her finisher to score a win.

After a heck of a battle, Cheerleader Melissa held off Portia Perez with the Kudoh Driver. This really could have gone either way with both wrestlers looking great before Melissa finally locked on the Kudoh Driver to score the three.

Round 2

Cheerleader Melissa took down Sherri Martel with the Air Raid Crash. Melissa and Martel tore into each other with both having chances to win. Martel looked like she might take it, but Melissa reversed her on the floor then came back and hit the Air Raid Crash to win.

Molly Holly surprised Jazz with a Molly-Go-Round. The two veterans brawled around the floor and in the ring causing chaos. Finally, Jazz missed a dive off the top rope and Molly quickly hit the Molly-Go-Round to win.

Kellie Skater took down Ida Mae Martinez with Skate and Destroy. Skater probably shouldn't have won, but she managed to survive long enough to hit her finisher to score the victory.

Madison Eagles edged Alison Danger with a running big boot. Eagles and Danger had their chances to win but in the end, Eagles just managed to hit a big boot and scored the three count.

Sara Del Rey took down MsChif with the Royal Butterfly. MsChif couldn't figure out Del Rey who quickly locked in the Royal Butterfly to win.

LuFisto put away Mercedes Martinez with a rear naked choke. This was an awesome match with both having chances to win. Finally LuFisto managed to lock on the choke and while Mercedes tried to escape, she was unable to do so and was forced to tap.

Saraya Knight finished off Penny Banner with a running Samoan Drop. This was surprisingly short as Knight just dominated Banner before hitting the Samoan Drop to score a quick three count.

Ivory upset Mildred Burke with a leg drop. Ivory kept Burke guessing and finally scored with a leg drop after three Jumping Facebusters.

Non Tourney Action
The Glamour Girls took down Courtney Rush and Jessie McKay when Leilani Kai pinned Rush after a double team gutbuster. The Glamour Girls were too strong for Rush and McKay and finally dropped Rush with a double team gutbuster for the win.

Leva Bates surprised Christina Von Eerie with the Superhero Kick. Leva shocked everyone by handling Von Eerie with a variety of offense before hitting the Superhero Kick and scored the pinfall.

Trinity DeNucci easily handled Veda Scott with the New Jersey Jam. Veda couldn't keep up with Trinity and quickly fell down to a fast Jam.

The Canadian Ninjas held off Daizee Haze and Saturyne when Nicole Matthews pinned Haze with the Vancouver Maneuver. Haze and Saturyne kept it close with Haze hitting her finisher three straight times on Perez, but the Ninjas finally finished off Haze with a double team followed by Matthews' finisher.

Athena put away Mia Yim with the O-Face. Athena showed off her agility and power before using an O-Face to score the victory.

April Hunter surprised Joyce Grable with the Head Hunter. Hunter surprised everyone with a large offense and worked down Grable to win.

Tourney Match Quarterfinal
1. Kellie Skater continues her unlikely run by upsetting LuFisto with Skate and Destroy. Skater just doesn't seem to want to lose as she took what LuFisto could throw at her and battered her down with a couple Skate or Die before using Skate and Destroy to move to the Semi-Finals.

2. Ida Mae Martinez upset Mercedes Martinez with the Dropkick to win the Battle of the Martinezes. Ida Mae surprised everyone by hitting three straight Dropkicks to upset Mercedes who was furious at the result and went after the referee before being dragged to the back.

3. The Canadian Ninjas surprised Team Old School (Grable/Banner) with a quick Funky Cold Medina on Grable. This was fairly short as The Ninjas never let Banner in the ring as they work Grable over before finishing her off.

Tourney Match Quaterfinal
4. Cheerleader Melissa took down Ivory with the Kudoh Driver. Ivory did catch Melissa once with the Jumping Facebuster, but mostly she just tried not to get brutalized too much before Melissa hit the Kudoh Driver to score the fall.

5. Judy Martin dropped Daizee Haze with the Power Bomb. Martin's size and strength advantage was way too much for Haze as she took a beating before Martin dropped her with the power bomb into a pin.

6. Mildred Burke took a beating but beat Jazz with the Alligator Clutch. Jazz looked like she had this, but she let Burke get a reversal and Burke worked her into the Alligator Clutch in the middle of the ring forcing Jazz to pass out giving Burke the win.

7. Sherri Martel put away Jessie McKay with the Top Rope Splash. Martel used the floor to her advantage as she brutalized Jessie down there, then nearly took the three count with a small package before hitting her splash to score a big win.

8. Saturyne knocked off Veda Scott with the Rings of Saturyne. Saturyne avoided a Scott deathjump and quickly locked in the Rings of Saturyne to take the match. Scott was very frustrated she cost herself the win.

Tourney Match Quartefinal
9. Madison Eagles thrashed Sara Del Rey with Hell Bound. Del Rey just could not get it going as Eagles just wanted this win. Del Rey did get in one Royal Butterfly but Eagles kept fighting back and then used her finisher to take the hard fought victory.

10. In a very disappointing match, Regeneration-X (Dressed as Kitty Pryde and Rogue) easily squashed MsEerie when Leva used a diving mushroom stomp to pin Von Eerie. In an even easier victory than her singles win over Von Eerie, MsChif and Danger never see action before Leva scored the pinfall.

11. Leilani Kai took down Athena with the Running Splash. Athena had her moments but Kai was just too strong in the end as she nailed a perfect Running Splash for the three count.

12. Trinity DeNucci surprised April Hunter with a crucifix into sunset flip and pin. April had her moments but she gave Trinity one opening and that allowed a quick rollup pinfall for Trinity.

13. Mia Yim took down Courtney Rush with the Spinning Seoul Kick. This was a very even battle and Rush almost took it but Yim held on and hit her Kick to score the three count.

Tourney Match Quarterfinal
14. Molly Holly took another big win with a Molly Go Ground on Saraya Knight.
Molly just seemed super motivated and took everything Knight could throw at her before hitting the Molly-Go-Round for the three count.

Canadian Ninjas and Saraya Knight put away Regeneration-X and LuFisto when Perez used a jawbreaker on LuFisto. The Ninjas showed why they're the favorites in the upcoming Tag Tournament by dominating the match, while Saraya made a token appearance. Perez used a jawbreaker that stunned LuFisto allowing her to score the fall while Knight and Matthews cut off Danger and Bates.


Joyce Grable upset Sherri Martel with a scoop slam. Martel dominated most of the matchup, but Grable hung around and hit a scoop slam that knocked the wind out of Sherri and allowed her to score the win.

Semifinals
Madison Eagles narrowly edged Molly Holly with Hell Bound. This was an incredible match with both women nearly taking the win before Madison finally hit her finisher and held Molly down for the three count. (Each woman had 6 pin tokens)

Jessie McKay took down April Hunter with the Boyfriend Stealer. McKay had a lot of trouble early on with Hunter but she made a comeback off the turnbuckle and then hit her finisher to score a pinfall.

Jazz put away Ida Mae Martinez with the STF. Jazz was all business here and Ida Mae couldn't overcome Jazz's power before falling to the STF.

Semifinals
Cheerleader Melissa took down Kellie Skater with the Kudoh Driver. Skater proved to be tough as always to take down but Melissa would not be denied and she finally caught Kelly in the Kudoh driver to take the match.

Judy Martin took down Saturyne with the Power Bomb. Saturyne had her chances but she got bullied on the floor and then fell victim to a quick Power Bomb.

Mildred Burke pinned Mercedes Martinez with the Sunset Flip. Mercedes dominated but Mildred got an opening and managed to use her Sunset Flip for the win.

Ivory beat Athena with the Jumping Facebuster. This was another match where one wrestler dominated but the other caught her off-guard and hit her finisher to take the victory.

Trinity DeNucci surprised Mia Yim with the New Jersey Jam. Trinity showed off her skills by dominating Mia in rather shocking fashion before landing her finisher to win.

Leilani Kai beat Penny Banner with an over-the-shoulder backbreaker. Leilani won the battle of top women with a determined battle in and out of the ring finally locking on the backbreaker. Banner could not escape and was forced to submit to escape further damage.

Death Haze overcame MsEerie when Haze used the Mind Trip on MsChif. MsChif never even managed to tag her partner before Haze used two Mind Trips to score the fall.

Veda Scott took down Courtney Rush with the Q.E.D. Veda got a big victory as Courtney just couldn't keep up and fell to a quick Q.E.D. to win.

Finals for the SHIMMER Title
Cheerleader Melissa took down Madison Eagles with the Kudoh Driver to become the first SHIMMER Champion. Both women wanted it, but only one could have it, and Melissa took it with several uses of her finishers to score a great victory and become the first champion.
