I've ordered all Four sets of the Original 24 and I'll be looking forward to using them in a new format for me for a GWF I'll run. I'm not sure what Filsinger has plans on future Color updates for past editions, but I'd say 2088 would be next...

I'd love to see the old COTG done like 2087.

2087 is one thing but I think I'll stop there...too expensive to keep buying these cards just to have them in color.

Man, $60 bucks to buy this whole set. Wow. I may have to pass unless I know there's plans for this to go past 2087.

I like the redone GWF 2087 cards, but to me these cards as of now are nothing more than a collector's item. Fine by me, because I like collecting them - but I have not had a reason to buy them for Online... yet. However, here's an idea I'd like to float out -- wouldn't this be the PERFECT time for Tom to REBOOT the entire GWF??? 2087 came out in the 80s, and a lot of the gimmicks and storylines no longer hold up in 2013, in my opinion. But just as we have seen the GWF "rebooted" in novella form - what if we got an entire reimagining of the GWF landscape that many of us grew up with as kids, teenagers, or young adults? Death Knight and Beast-Rider look awesome. I would want to push them hard if those were the cards I was playing with when I bought this game in high school. Let's forget the Norse Gods ever existed, and Vlad Hammer needs to be repackaged as a Russian oil giant rather than a Young Ally from the USSR (the writing was on the wall, but how was Tom to know that the Soviet Union was going to collapse in a year or two?) Anyway, comic books reboot their universes all of the time, otherwise Superman and Batman would still be stuck in the 30s battling Nazis or something.. the idea of a full blown reboot has been floated around on other boards before, but does anyone else think they'd enjoy a completely rebooted GWF universe?

Me. I would love a re-boot.
