Kenny King said he was trying to bring TNA to Las Vegas, it looks like he succeeded.
For the first time in 5 years, TNA takes place in Las Vegas on Saturday June 29 to film 2 episodes of TV.
I don't know, but I may go.

You should. They have been putting on some good shows lately and that will be right in the middle of the BFGS. I was a bit confused on the date as I know they will be near here on June 20th which will be live and taping for the 27th. Then I was really confused on the day as it is a Saturday. Then I realized the next Thursday is the 4th of July so they are filming 2 weeks before then. Let us know if you do go and how it was. I am hoping to make it on the 20th.

Earlier this week, TNA held a press conference (featuring Hulk Hogan and Las Vegan Kenny King) here in Las Vegas about their upcoming Impact tapings next month:
Notes from TNA's Las Vegas press conference held Wednesday, May 15
- TNA will tape two Impact episodes on Saturday, June 29. The first show will carry a Fourth of July patriotic theme due to the episode airing on Thursday, July 4. TNA will then tape the July 11 Impact episode on the same night.
- Hulk Hogan was the main attraction for the press conference. When asked about some of his favorite career matches in Las Vegas, Hogan said his famous match with Sting at Starrcade '97 is at the top of his list. The match actually took place in Washington, D.C.
Asked about his infamous Halloween Havoc '98 match against the Ultimate Warrior that actually took place in Vegas, Hogan joked that it's one he would like to forget.
- Hogan said he continues to be challenged by having his daughter, Brooke Hogan, working alongside him in TNA because he doesn't want to talk business when they're at home. Regarding Brooke joining TNA a few years ago, Hogan said, "To shoot with you, brother, that was a Dixie Carter idea."
- Prior to Hogan's speech, X Division champion Kenny King spoke at the press conference. King talked about living in Vegas and Dixie Carter texting him that TNA booked Vegas for Impact just for King.
- Before King and Hogan spoke, emcee Jeremy Borash brought "Las Vegas special guest" Oscar B. Goodman on-stage. Goodman, who was flanked by two Vegas showgirls, opened his comments with a "TNA" joke. This drew nervous laughter since the company has had to fight the "TNA vs. T&A" battle throughout company history.

I am back home from seeing TNA live for my first time ever. I thought the shows were overall OK and I will now probably watch Destination X for free on Spike TV in a couple of weeks. TNA said that Las Vegas was one of their best crowds but I am guessing they say that to all or most of their crowds as AAA 4 years ago far outdrew TNA in the same building tonight.
if you want some spoilers, they are below:
there is a new X Division champion as Chris Sabin defeated Austin Aries for the title and then cashed it in to Hogan for a title shot against Bully Ray at Destination X. Hogan got a great reaction from the crowd tonight.
Gail Kim won the Knockouts ladder match for a title shot against Mickie James
3 new members of the Main Event Mafia were revealed including Samoa Joe and Quentin Jackson.
Mangus (if I remember correctly) now has the lead in the Bound for Glory series
Kenny King got a good reaction from his hometown crowd but he lost his match to Chavo Guerrero.
although I do not watch alot of TNA, it was worth the $15 to attend the shows tonight IMO

Magnus had the lead two weeks ago too. Meh. Who was the other MEM member if Joe and Rampage were among the three? Nevermind, found the fifth guy and it's Magnus. I thought the criteria for MEM was you had to be a former World Champion? Being carried by Doug Williams, Samoa Joe and Nigel McGuinness shouldn't get you a spot in a stable that's supposed to be the elite in the business.
And how was the ladder match? Was it up to par with the awesome PPV match the girls had at Slammiversary?
