SHIMMER opens up their doors with the "Tussle in Tulsa" a two day event that will feature two tournaments to crown the inaugural SHIMMER and SHIMMER Tag team champions! Wrestlers from 6 different countries will compete!

DAY 1, 8/5, Tulsa Convention Center, Tulsa, OK[/u]

KELLIE SKATER vs. LUNA VACHON
Decent opening bout here for the SHIMMER tournament, both women traded offensive flurries, momentum swung in Vachon's favor following a brawl outside the ring. Kellie would kick out of a LUNA ECLIPSE but gets pinned following a swinging neckbreaker.

JESSIE MCKAY w/Eddie Fyne vs LUFISTO w/Pegaboo
Eddie Fyne comes out and announces that on loan from the Fyne collection for the audience's viewing pleasure is Jessie McKay!. McKay did not seem ready for eccentric LuFisto. McKay kept escaping to the floor constantly befuddled by LuFisto's offense. LuFisto manages to hit MANGALIZER but Fyne provides a distraction.
LuFisto climbs to the top rope and yells "Pegaboo I choose you!" and launches the doll at Eddie, McKay recovers and pulls LuFisto off the top rope and hits a SCHOOL GIRL CRUSH but LuFisto kicks out, McKay goes for another SCHOOL GIRL CRUSH but LuFisto ducks and picks McKay up with a BURNING HAMMER for the win.

TRINITY DENUCCI & ARIEL vs TEAM BLONDAGE w/ Eddie Fyne
On loan from the Fyne collection is Team Blondage. Opening bout in the SHIMMER tag tournament. DeNucci definitely the star of this match and was impressive against both Amber and Krissy. Team Blondage got frustrated and used illegal double team tactics on the floor but got DQ'ed for their trouble

CHEERLEADER MELISSA vs SATURYNE
Saturyne flew around the ring, unleashing an aerial assault but one missed deathjump gives Melissa the opportunity to hit KUDOH DRIVER to end the bout.

MERCEDES MARTINEZ vs MIA YIM
Mercedes Martinez makes short work of Mia and pins her with FISHERMAN BUSTER

REGENERATION X vs CANADIAN NINJAS
Surprisingly short match, Bates gets caught by the NINJAS and they double team her on their way to victory.

MADISON EAGLES vs COURTNEY RUSH w/Eddie Fyne
On loan from the Fyne collection, Courtney Rush taking on Madison Eagles. the 6'1 tall Eagles largely dominates the aciton and had hit an impressive Spider German Suplex, Fyne runs in sliding a chair and distracts the referee.
Rush uses the chair twice before tossing it and covering Eagles for the cheap victory

The "Death Rey" wastes little time here and puts down the Japanese challenger following a superplex

Home Wrecking Crew showed off their tag team prowress as they put on a clinic against the opposition, Kana falls victim to a TOMIKAZE

THE EXPERIENCE vs APACHE SISTERS
Last of the first round tag tournament matches. The Apache sisters excite the crowd with their non-stop offense, Hosaka somehow manages to get to her corner where the veteran Lexie Fyfe slowed things down and it takes two ATTITUDE ADJUSTERS on Mari Apache for the sisters to be quelled.

MSCHIF vs DAIZEE HAZE
Another short encounter, MsChif handidly defeats Haze with a sitout choke slam

SARAYA KNIGHT vs ATHENA
Last match of the single's first round and final match of Day 1. Knight yells at the fans and flips off the crowd before getting a beating from Athena, Knight proves how tough shes is by fighting back and defeating Athena with BRIDLED ROCKING HORSE

LUNA VACHON vs LUFISTO w/Pegaboo
Mere seconds before this spilled to the floor where the majority of this bout take place, LuFisto manages to win after a Diving Star Headbutt

CHEERLEADER MELISSA vs MERCEDES MARTINEZ
Fantastic match, best of the tournament so far, both women gave it their all and Martinez manages to hit a FISHERMAN BUSTER to pin Melissa.

TRINITY DENUCCI & ARIEL vs CANADIAN NINJAS
Following the best singles match of the tournament, comes the best tag match of the tournament, this one almost went the time limit, but the cinderella team of Ariel & Trinity manage to keep their title hopes alive as Perez gets pinned by DeNucci.
WINNERS: TRINITY DENUCCI & ARIEL

COURTNEY RUSH w/Eddie Fyne vs SARA DEL REY
Despite Rush and Fyne's best efforts, they couldn't overcome the Death Rey and Sara wins this one via countout

MSCHIF vs SARAYA KNIGHT
Two dark ladies have a great hard hitting encounter, MsChif does not let up once she gets in firm control of Knight and wears her down enough to pin her.

Two of the more polished teams pairing off, a good lengthy match seeing many near falls, Crew make their way to the finals as Hosaka gets nailed by TOMIKAZE

LUFISTO w/Pegaboo vs MERCEDES MARTINEZ
Unfortunately short as LuFisto loses focus and gets herself disqualified, LuFisto seems confused post match and gets consolation from Pegaboo.

Two of the top wrestlers going for the gold, a seesaw match and either woman could have ended it at any time. MsChif proves to be the better woman tonight as she pins Del Rey with DESECRATOR

Non tournament match that is very short and one sided as Von Eerie gains a countout victory

MINNESOTA HOME WRECKING CREW vs TRINITY DENUCCI & ARIEL
Tag titles shown to the crowd, incredibly intense match with the underdog team doing everything they can. Edge of the seat near falls, but in the end the Crew prove why they are one of the best teams around and win the tournament as Ariel is pinned with an IMPLANT DDT

Amazing match, both women kept it tight to the vest and a methodical bout takes place. Match had great chain wrestling inside the ring and even brawling outside the ring. Both women kicked out of each others' finisher. Offense traded back and forth, and fans were divided, after about 15 minutes of solid action, MsChif hits her second DESECRATOR of the match and pins Martinez

Eddie Fyne comes out and states his Fyne Collection have gotten off to a rocky start but there is no group of women more talented, more beautiful and more dominating then them.

TEAM BLONDAGE (w/Eddie Fyne) vs. ATHENA & ALERE LITTLE FEATHER

Vaine and O'Neal corner Alere, wearning her down. Alere fights back to make the hot tag to Athena. Blondage stops Athena with double team tactics and win after Amber hits an inverted DDT on Athena.

SARAYA KNIGHT vs VEDA SCOTT

Knight argues with fans at ringside as she makes her way to the ring. After a nice opening chain sequence which Knight wins, the remainder of the match sees Knight toy with Veda before putting her away with BRIDLED ROCKING HORSE. Saraya Knight goes to leave and stops to turn back to the ring where she attacks Veda again and tears out a handful of hair and takes it with her as she leaves the ring.

SARA DEL REY vs DAIZEE HAZE

Sara wastes no time and gets Haze to submit quickly to a CROSS ARMBREAKER

Amber Gertner interviews the new SHIMMER Champion, MsChif. MsChif says she will go through hell and back to keep this title, and will not step down from any challenge.

Ad for SHIMMER first PPV event, DREAMSLAM taking place on August 28th at Thomas & Mack Center in Paradise, Nevada.

CANADIAN NINJAS vs REGENERATION-X

Awesome match, a far better outing overall than their previous encounter. Pins were fast and furious. During one pin save, Danger knocked Perez to the floor leaving their legal tag partners in the ring as they brawled at ringside.
Matthews and Bates each had quick pin attempts but they ultimately went to the floor and brawled as well, ref rules a double countout as members of the locker room is needed to break the two teams apart.
DOUBLE COUNT OUT

MSCHIF vs FABI APACHE (non-title)

Non-title match, SHIMMER champion MsChif requesting to have an opponent every week, title match or not. Fabi puts in a good effort but a DESECRATOR from the champ ends it.

JESSIE MCKAY & COURTNEY RUSH vs LUFISTO & MADISON EAGLES

On loan from the Fyne collection, McKay and Rush have trouble with LuFisto and Eagles, as LuFisto nails a Tiger suplex on Rush, Luna Vachon comes down and assaults LuFisto just as she tags out to Eagles. Rush recovers and hits an OLYMPIC SLAM on a distracted Eagles, but Eagles counters the move and hits HELL BOUND, McKay makes the unopposed save.
McKay and Rush struggle, but the two on one advantage finally works in their favor as McKay pins Eagles with BOYFRIEND STEALER

Very good opening bout, Von Eerie's power advantage proved to be the deciding factor and pins the Luchadora with 138.

Mari gets fan support here in New Mexico, she feeds off the crowd and puts in a strong performance and pins Skater with a picture perfect sitout powerbomb

Mia gets the jump on Melissa at the bell and does everything she can to get Melissa down. After a melee on the floor where Melissa regains the advantage. Melissa brings Mia back in the ring for an AIR RAID CRASH and a KUDOH for good measure leading to victory

MERCEDES MARTINEZ vs SUMIE SAKAI

Both women shake hands at the bell, this match was definite proof that anything can happen in wrestling. Martinez was in control and punished Saki and had her up 7 fatigue tokens but would not roll her finisher or get a pin predicament.
Sakai slowly fights back, getting Martinez up to 5 tokens and adds insult by using a fisherman buster (Martinez's finisher which never came up) before hitting a MOONSAULT and a top rope flying body press for the hard earned victory. Martinez very disappointed post match but still takes the time to shake Sakai's hand.
WINNER: SUMIE SAKAI

SHIMMER TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Cinderella run seems to have died tonight as Lacey and Rain were a well polished team womanhandling a makeshift tandem. DeNucci took most of the punishment but Ariel gets pinned after TOMIZAKE.
