Making news this week, promoter James Steinhoff has obtained the promotion rights to Ring of Honor, CHIKARA, SHIMMER, and NWA Hollywood. Signing contracts with the Pennsylvania Athletic Commission, he is going to combine these diverse talents into a new company known as Top 10 Wrestling. From a podium, Mr. Steinhoff addressed the media...
"Top 10 Wrestling is going to feature the best wrestling talent from around the world. My goal with this company is a simple one. I want this to be your entertainment of choice. In this 21st century landscape filled with media and entertainment choices, the fans decision to embrace this company is the highest achievement possible. We are very happy to have fans do so, and we want to give them maximum satisfaction with each and every show. That is our promise to them, and we will never stop delivering on that promise night in and night out.
"We have reached an agreement with local venues and local media outlets to provide live events and syndicated programming on a weekly basis. We are also planning to provide PPV events throughout the year. To that end, I'd like to announce that we are in the process of gathering talent together for our first PPV event, The Inaugural Bash, where we will crown a new NWA World Heavyweight Champion live from Pittsburgh, PA. This is the oldest and most prestigious title in the history of professional wrestling. To have a belt with such a strong lineage going back over a century is an honor. We intend to have the best talent in the world compete for both them and the promotion to continue and define what it is to be the best wrestler on the planet. And leading up to the PPV, on our weekly programming, we will feature the best matches not only leading up to the tournament finals for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, but to also show tournament finals for three other titles.
"We are pleased to announce that we will also be having The ROH Championship as part of our lineup. I am impressed with how the title is both defined and defended by honor. To that end, all competitors who wish to compete for this title must do so using the Code of Honor rules. We feel that this title defense will add value to the matches on the card, and this belt will be represented well by our talent.
"To have the SHIMMER championship is very important to me, personally. I feel that women in wrestling have been held back by other promoters and promotions. Women are far more than pretty eye candy to placed in lingerie pillow fights. These are powerful and explosive athletes who deserve respect. I plan on giving them every opportunity to showcase their talents and to earn the respect that they deserve.
"And certainly not least, we are adding the Compeonatos de Parejas titles, as I feel that they provide a very unique environment to showcase tag team wrestling. To that end, all tag team matches in Top 10 Wrestling will be fought under Lucha Libre rules, and all defenses of the Compeonatos de Parejas titles will be fought in a 2 out of 3 falls match. The results we hope for will be matches that will outshine any other promotions by using not only a unique format, but by putting together the best roster of tag teams out there today."
"But for now, I'm going to announce the competitors who will attempt to qualify for NWA Heavyweight Championship. These men are going to compete in the coming weeks to earn a spot in the tournament brackets. I have pooled together 12 of the best competitors from both Ring of Honor and from CHIKARA. In the first round, 12 men from each company will face off in matches against each other drawn at random. Once that round is completed, 12 men, 6 from each company, will do the same with each other. The remaining six men will earn their place in the PPV tournament finals.
"Representing CHIKARA - Claudio Castagnoli, Delirious, Tim Donst, Icarus, Jigsaw, Eddie Kingston, Brodie Lee, Archibald Peck, Mike Quackenbush, Chuck Taylor, Tursas, and Ultramantis Black.
"Representing Ring of Honor - Mike Bennett, Adam Cole, Eddie Edwards, Michael Elgin, El Generico, Homicide, Jay Lethal, Rhino, Davey Richards, Kevin Steen, Roderick Strong, and Rhett Titus.
"There will be more matches announced in the coming weeks, and we look forward to your joining us as we lay the foundations for the next great chapter in the sport of professional wrestling. Thank you!"

(TV Taping at Jamestown Savings Bank Arena)
Show starts with owner James Steinhoff coming out and addressing the crowd, recapping what was typed earlier, introducing the crew to the fans, and again promising the fans to give them their moneys' worth. Ring is cleared, and camera is rolling.
NWA CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING MATCH: JAY LETHAL VS. ADAM COLE
This was a great opening match that got the fans to their feet in a hurry. The momentum went back and forth until Adam Cole caught Jay Lethal with a flying crossbody for the pin. Both men shook hands afterwards, and Lethal wished Cole good luck in the tournament. WINNER BY PINFALL: ADAM COLE
NWA CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING MATCH: RODERICK STRONG VS. EL GENERICO
The fans were glad to see one of their favorites, El Generico, in action, but the fans were very upset with the outcome of the match. As Generico was setting up for THE BRAINBUSTAAAHHH, Truth Martini jumped on the ring apron to distract the referee. As Generico went to grab Martini, Strong caught him with a side kick from behind, winning the match. As Martini gloated outside of the ring, Generico spun him around and was getting ready to DDT him on the ring when all members of The House of Truth came down and started beating down Generico. Fortunately, Fit Finlay and the Security Shirts came down in time to prevent any further damage. WINNER BY PINFALL: RODERICK STRONG
As Security Shirts were separating the two parties, Top 10 Director of Operations Al Snow stood at the entrance with a microphone.
"Martini, I'm sure you're feeling pretty good with yourself. You got one of your own into the tournament for the NWA Heavyweight Championship. Well, since you like to insert yourself into things, let me put you between a rock and a hard place. I'm changing a couple of the qualifying matches for this evening. And since you're already down there... Michael Elgin... Rhino... get in the ring... right now!"
NWA CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING MATCH: MICHAEL ELGIN VS. RHINO
Watching Truth Martini at ringside was like watching Gollum. He was alternately cheering his charges when they did a powerful move, and then yelling at himself for not being concerned with who got hit. In the ring, it was a great power display between two of the strongest competitors in Top 10 Wrestling. In a grueling match that went inside and outside of the ring, it all came down to who was going to hit their finisher first. The veteran was able to capitalize with THE GORE, leading to a three count. WINNER BY PINFALL: RHINO
NWA CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING MATCH: ICARUS VS. DELIRIOUS
When the show would be replayed on TV, fans would learn that it was originally scheduled to be Elgin vs. Icarus, and Rhino vs. Delirious. But this match turned out to be an acrobatic counter to the power display shown before. In the end, it was all Delirious on offense, leading to an inevitable PRAYING MANTIS BOMB and the victory. WINNER BY PINFALL: DELIRIOUS
Intermission - Come on over to the gimmick tables!!!
As fans came back to their seats, Bill Apter announced to the fans that while 12 seeds of the NWA Championship Tournament will be filled through qualifying matches, 4 spots were already filled with men who have earned the right to be called Champion. And with that, he introduced the first of these men for an interview... TOO COLD SCORPIO!
It was a great interview with Scorpio and Apter joking with themselves and the crowd. And it had an amazing declaration towards the end...
Scorpio: You know, it was almost 20 years ago when I got a chance to become the NWA Heavyweight Champion in a tournament final. That night, I lost to Shane Douglas. And that night, I watched him use that title to ignite a new era in professional wrestling. For years afterwards, I asked myself over and over again what if I was the one who led the revolution that night? Well, at the Top 10 Pay-Per-View, I get a second chance to become the NWA Heavyweight Champion. But instead of wondering about a past revolution, I'll get to be there with all of you as we start a revolution of our own!"
NWA CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING MATCH: ARCHIBALD PECK VS. TURSAS
What should have been a squash match turned into one of the most entertaining matches of the night. Archibald used every dirty trick and scheme to wear down the giant from Finland. The highlight was outside of the ring, Peck smashed his baton over Tursas head, breaking it over it. And it had zero affect on the giant. Shrieking like a girl, Peck ran into the crowd trying to hide behind fans as Tursas came after him. Cameras even caught him asking for a fan's car keys so he could escape from the arena. But there was no escape as Tursas carried a screaming and flailing Peck back to the ring where he finished him off with a Black Hole Slam. WINNER BY PINFALL: TURSAS
NWA CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING MATCH: CHUCK TAYLOR VS. BRODIE LEE
A relatively quick match, as Lee caught Taylor with a BIG BOOT for a pinfall. WINNER BY PINFALL: BRODIE LEE
After the match, Taylor was livid. He screamed at Lee that he got lucky, and screamed at the referee that he counted too fast. After a two minute tirade in the center of the ring, Lee casually said from his corner, if you want a rematch, let's do it right now. The referee asked both men if they were ready and willing to do this, and after getting their consent, leaned outside and yelled "Ring the bell!"
NWA CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING RE-MATCH: CHUCK TAYLOR VS. BRODIE LEE
Taylor yelled at the referee to do his job right. Taylor turned to Lee. BIG BOOT. 1-2-3. WINNER BY PINFALL: BRODIE LEE
MAIN EVENT: 10 MAN BATTLE ROYAL (C & C WRESTLING FACTORY, WORLDS GREATEST TAG TEAM, THE BRISCOE BROTHERS, TEAM S.C.U.M, AND THE YOUNG BUCKS)
The rules for this match: The last 2 men in the ring earn a spot for their teams in the Campeonatos de Parejas Tournament in the pay per view. Order of eliminations were as follows:
Mark Briscoe eliminates Matt Jackson Mark Briscoe eliminates Sheldon Benjamin Charlie Haas eliminates Nick Jackson Steve Corino eliminates Jay Briscoe Mark Briscoe eliminates Caprice Coleman Mark Briscoe eliminates Cedric Alexander Charlie Haas eliminates Jimmy Jacobs.
The final three men in the battle royal were Mark Briscoe, Steve Corino, and Charlie Haas. For the next five minutes, it went from a battle royal into a fast paced three way dance that had the crowd into the action. It ended with Corino down in the ring and Briscoe and Haas fighting on the ropes. Both men tried to push the other over the top rope, and were struggling to keep themselves in the ring as well. Corino comes across the ring with a devastating double clothesline, sending all three men over the top! But as the bodies flew, Briscoe and Haas kept their grip on the ropes. Corino did not. Both men skinned the cat into the ring to win the match. WINNERS: MARK BRISCOE AND CHARLIE HAAS.
So, to recap the tournament settings...
EARNING A SPOT IN THE NWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT:
ADAM COLE RODERICK STRONG RHINO DELIRIOUS TURSAS BRODIE LEE 2 COLD SCORPIO

PRESS RELEASE: Due to a conflict in scheduling, Top 10 Wrestling is re-shuffling it's announce crew.
Jim Cornette, who was paired with Bill Apter to cover the play by play duties, has accepted a new position as the Media Director for the company. As Media Director, Cornette will be directing and editing the syndicated television show, promotional interviews and releases, and online media content.
"I gotta admit", Jim said, "I was getting ready to be fired. Again! They keep doing that to me with east coast wrestling companies, you know. If I get fired one more time, I get a set of steak knives of something. I made it known that I was not sure if I was ready to handle the travel requirements and demands that were asked of me. Imagine my surprise when James Steinhoff and Al Snow promoted me. Holy mackerel! A company that wants to put their talent over across the board by putting them in positions where they can excel. So now I make a good living with less travel, reduced stress, and a better salary. I'm pretty sure I'm experiencing a stroke right now, but in case I'm not, thank you Top 10 Wrestling for doing something right."
"Given his experience in practically every facet of the industry, putting Cornette in this position makes a lot of sense", said Top 10 Wrestling President James Steinhoff. "From a production standpoint, we needed to re-examine how we performed as an up and coming independent wrestling company. While Jim's announce work is some of the best in the industry, his talents behind the scenes are very needed. In truth, there is no one else out there with the experience he has. Across the board, he can work well with all levels of the company, and provide the expertise needed to make both our syndicated and online material content the best in the industry."
Replacing Cornette in the announce position will be Louden Noxious, who was recently working as a backstage reporter.
"I am very happy with the new position!", said Noxious. "I am looking forward to being the new voice of Top 10 Wrestling!"
Bill Apter agrees with the selection as well.
"He's a little unorthodox behind the microphone", said Apter, "but he brings a very unique blend of excitement and insight that's going to really add to the show. With him working color and my working play by play, I think we provide a good balance to the show. I think the fans will be in for a treat every week."
Taking over all backstage duties will be April Hunter.
"Trust me, I am loving this arrangement more than anyone else in the company", said Hunter. "I get to break all of the stories backstage. There is nowhere and nothing off limits. And given all the action in Top 10 Wrestling, both in the rings and outside of it, I am going to be a very busy woman. Just try and catch up..."
Gary Michael Cappetta will remain as the ring announcer, and is bringing a classic voice back to the wrestling world.
"As much as I have enjoyed my travels over the years, I am really liking meeting and interacting with the fans of Top 10 Wrestling. There is a lot of respect for both the history of wrestling and the new direction of the company and young talent. I'm glad to be a part of it all!"
And keeping the action in the ring in order is a unique trio of authority. Senior Referee Bryce Remsburg will be in charge of officiating, and promises to bring his best.
"The days of referees being a bunch of skinny wimps who lose control of the action are over. We're going to be providing clear cut winners and losers, and stop the shenanigans outside of the ring. We are not perfect, but we are going to be well trained, assertive, and ready to take charge."
And if action outside of the ring gets too much, Top 10 Wrestling has a Head of Security named Fit Finlay.
"If ANY of these wankers think about stepping out of line, I will make an example out of them. Al Snow said I could use the Shillelagh if things get out of hand. So if anyone out there wants to start something with my security crew, kindly remember that my name is Finlay, and I love to fight!"
And heading up the crew is the Director of Operations, Al Snow. A veteran wrestler and trainer, Al has full authority and autonomy of Top 10 Wrestling, servicing as a combination of commissioner, head booker, producer, backstage manager, and mentor for the talent.
"Top 10 Wrestling is put together by a vision of wrestlers being given an opportunity to showcase their talents before fans who are hungry for action. We are here to give them a platform to do so. We're not here to make cartoon characters or Hollywood starlets. We want to show everyone out there that we have men and women who are some of the best athletes in the world, and that night after night, they are going to prove it in the ring. We want fans to come over to a company that respects them and knows what they came to the shows wanting to see something special. Everyone and anyone is welcome here, and we will do everything we can to give you a live experience you cannot find anywhere else."

ROUND ROBIN MATCH - PART I - Incoherence vs. Del Rey/Haze
In a Round Robin Match to gain entry for the Campeneros de Parajas title tournament, Incoherence (Frightmare and Hallowicked) faced the team of Sara Del Rey and Daizee Haze. Both teams took to their offensive strengths right away. In a Round Robin format, you need to defeat both of your opponents back to back to win the match. Great back & forth action and utilization of lucha libre style, but it all came to an end when Sara Del Ray pinned Frightmare after a power bomb. WINNERS BY PINFALL: SARA DEL REY AND DAIZEE HAZE
NWA CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER MATCH - Ultramantis Black vs. Tim Donst
A true clash of styles, but on this night, Black would not be denied. Donst would eventually fall to the PRAYING MANTIS BOMB and defeat at the hands of the evil mastermind. After the match, F.I.S.T. attempted to enact payback on Black, but they were all chased off by The Colony, who gave their support to Black. WINNER BY PINFALL: ULTRAMANTIS BLACK
ROUND ROBIN MATCH - PART II - Del Rey/Haze vs. The Throwbacks
Hoping to end the series in back to back victories, Del Rey & Haze faced off against The Throwback, Dasher Hatfield and Sugar Dunkington. Despite the momentum, the ladies of Chikara could not find a way to capitalize on the fresh men entering the ring. A shorter match than the previous encounter, it came to a head when Sara Del Rey fell victim to AIR DUNKERTON. WINNERS BY PINFALL: THE THROWBACKS
NWA CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER MATCH - Jigsaw vs. Eddie Kingston
Best friends and partners put aside their friendships to engage in a high octane match that quickly spilled out of the ring. But once outside of the ring, a strange incident brought the match to a quick finish. Attempting to separate the two men and get them back into the ring, the official found himself on the receiving end of a Eddie Kingston dropkick. Although immediately repentant, the referee called for the bell. Both the wrestlers and the fans were upset with this decision, but according to Bryce Remsberg, the decision stands. WINNER BY DQ: JIGSAW
ROUND ROBIN MATCH - PART III - The Throwbacks vs. Incoherence
This match up saw more lucha style and moves than any other match of the evening. Both sets of men hit all of their signature moves in a matchup where no one was willing to admit defeat. But even courage could not hold up as Sugar Dunkington fell victim to Frightmare and KNEECOLEPSY. With this victory, all three teams in the Round Robin claimed a win, setting the series in motion all over again. WINNERS BY PINFALL: INCOHERENCE
NWA CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER MATCH - Rhett Titus vs. Eddie Edwards
Rhett Titus made an impressive showing and dominated the first half of the match. But as the match wore on, Edwards took over and overpowered the brashness of Titus. WINNER BY PINFALL: EDDIE EDWARDS
INTERVIEW SEGMENT:
Bill Apter came to ringside, and as he started to speak, a familiar song came over the loudspeakers. As soon as the first notes of "The Final Countdown" were hit, the crowd was on it's feet. Coming down to ringside and entering the ring to a standing ovation... BRYAN DANIELSON!
The crowd was cheering and chanting as Bryan entered the ring with Apter. Some of the best chants of the segment included "Welcome Back", "NWA", and "Dragon". But if there was one message to sum up the feeling of everyone in The Flickinger Center, it came from Danielson...
"There came a crucial moment in my career. A moment of clarify. I could either continue to forsake what I truly am and make lots of money by making you all laugh... or I could return to my roots and become what I am destined to be. A competitor. A fighter. A wrestler. And now, in two weeks, I have chance to be what I have always dreamed of becoming... the NWA World Heavyweight Champion. That's why I have decided to join the movement and become the newest member of Top 10 Wrestling. I have been given what I have always dreamed of. An arena where I could prove that I am the best wrestler on the planet, and prove it every single night in front of the fans."
NWA CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER MATCH - Mike Bennett vs. Davey Richards
This was a very strange match to watch, as Richards simply looked terrible in the ring. No matter what he tried to do, Mike Bennett had an answer for it. Even the color commentators were taken aback by how Bennett simply manhandled Richards, leading to an eventual victory coming from a PHOTO FINISH. After a match, Richards sustained a neck injury that required him to be taken to a local hospital. But a question remains - was Bennett that much better? Or is there something going with Richards that we don't know about? WINNER BY PINFALL: MIKE BENNETT
ROUND ROBIN MATCH - PART IV - Incoherence vs. Del Ray/Haze
The match has come full circle as the crowd cheered even louder for the competitors. And their cheers were met with even more action than before. It was a true battle of willpower and endurance. It even showed the first blood of the evening, as a nasty kick from Hallowicked cut open the forehead of Sara Del Rey. Despite the blood loss, a battered quartet of wrestlers tore the house down. The match ended with Frightmare falling to THE DAIZEE CUTTER, and the crowd went wild. WINNERS BY PINFALL: SARA DEL REY AND DAIZEE HAZE
NWA CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER MATCH - Homicide vs. Kevin Steen
This match pushed the edges of the rulebooks, DQ calls, and countouts. In the ring, out of the ring, in the air, and on the mat, these men went all out. As far as they were concerned, the NWA Championship might as well have been on the line this evening. As the match wore on though, the raw power of Steen could not be denied, and Homicide could not power out of THE F-CINQ. WINNER BY PINFALL: KEVIN STEEN
ROUND ROBIN MATCH - PART V - Del Rey/Haze vs. The Throwbacks
Whatever advantage The Throwbacks may have had was gone by the time the bell started. The fans were on their feet and strongly cheering for Del Rey and Haze. Eight minutes later, Daizee pinned Dasher after hitting a nasty yakuza kick to the forehead. The crowd erupted as the women embraced in the center of the ring. They have pulled off an amazing victory tonight, and are on their way to possibly become the first ever Campenaros de. Perejas champions in Top 10 history: WINNERS BY PINFALL: SARA DEL REY AND DAIZEE HAZE
NWA CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER MATCH - Claudio Castagnoli vs. Mike Quackenbush
Another returning champion appeared in Top 10 Wrestling, as even the most dedicated fans didn't give Quackenbush any chance of winning. But if there is one thing people are learning in Top 10 Wrestling, there is no such thing as a normal night. This match came as close to the 30 minute time limits as possible, and showed both men battered, and in the case of Castagnoli, bleeding. An exhausting and grueling match showed both men going to their limits, before Quackenbush caught him with a small package for the win. WINNER BY PINFALL: MIKE QUACKENBUSH
ADVANCING TO THE CAMPENAROS DE PEREJAS TITLE TOURNAMENT:
SARA DEL REY & DAIZEE HAZE WRESTLING'S GREATEST TAG TEAM THE BRISCOE BROTHERS
ADVANCING TO THE NWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT:

(TV Taping, Erie Civic Center, Erie, PA)
THE YOUNG BUCKS VS. C & C WRESTLING FACTORY
Both teams asked for a chance to participate before the PPV to get fans to notice them. It was a good match, fast paced, but very one sided. Caprice Coleman would wind up being caught in MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK, and would get pinned as a result. However, after the match, C & C Wrestling Factory attacked The Young Bucks viciously. After throwing Matt out to the arena floor, Nick Jackson was dual power bombed over the top rope, landing hard to the arena floor. As referees and security made their way to the ring to assist the injured wrestler, Caprice and Cedrick very calmly walked down the aisle. What happened? WINNERS BY PINFALL: THE YOUNG BUCKS.
Backstage, cameras caught up with C & C Wrestling Factory...
Caprice Coleman: "Young Bucks better understand. Top 10 Wrestling is saturated with talent. We could stand by and wait for something to happen, but isn't it better when you make something happen?"
Cedrick Alexander: "Don't take it personally, boys. It's just business!"
SHANE HOLLISTER VS. ARIK ROYAL
Very quick match between two men trying to move up the ladder. About 30 seconds into the match, Hollister caught Royal in a small package for the win. Royal then flipped out and started shooting on Hollister, busting open his eyes before security could intervene. Royal was escorted out of the building as Hollister received medical attention. WINNER BY PINFALL: Shane Hollister
Backstage, cameras caught a heated exchange between Fit Finlay and Bryce Remsburg...
Fit Finley: Hey Bryce, you want to take control of the ring anytime tonight, or are we going to mop up all of your messes? Bryce Remsburg: You think the job is so damned easy, try it!
Director of Operations Al Snow quickly stepped in, and called both men to his office, and telling the camera crew "Show's over!!!"
TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT QUALIFIER: THE TRIBE VS. LOS BANDITOS
Newly arrived from NWA Hollywood, these two teams showed off their skills to an East Coast audience who were seeing them for the first time. And as if making an impact wasn't enough motivation, the winner would get the final spot for the Top 10 Tag Team Titles. The crowd was firmly behind The Tribe, as both men proved to be very adept to the Lucha Libre style of Top 10. Los Banditos made the best of the quick tags and teamwork, but the raw power of The Tribe proved too much to handle as Rico Dynamite fell victim to RESERVATION DEVASTATION. WINNERS BY PINFALL: THE TRIBE
MIKE MONDO VS. JOHNNY GARGANO
Both men stepped up to the plate, and had the best singles match of the night. Great back and forth with lots of high spots, but it was Mike Mondo winning after Gargano missing on the Deathjump. WINNER BY PINFALL: Mike Mondo
Backstage, Louden Noxious was beginning to interview the man known as No Fear when Johnny Gargano and Icarus double teamed Mike Mondo, busting him open with a kendo stick. After a momentary celebration, they spun around to face Al Snow and law enforcement officials. As the wrestlers protested, the men were read their Miranda rights and handcuffed by the officers.
Al Snow: "You guys want to act like criminals, you get treated like criminals. Gentlemen, take them away!"
As the camera pulled back, Chuck Taylor was seen hiding around the corner, shaking his head back and forth with a slight smirk on his face.
INTERVIEW SEGMENT - ADAM PEARCE
Bill Apter introduced The Scrap Daddy, Adam Pearce, who emerged from backstage with the NWA Heavyweight Championship belt.
"Some people bring the party, Bill Apter. I am the party. Who do you think set up the NWA with Top 10? Me. Not Al Snow. Me! I opened up the books, and brought this indy fed to the big time. I only asked for two things from the company. Put me in the tournament, and put us on the payroll. NWA Hollywood rules the West Coast, and now we are out to rule the East Coast. And I will once again become the NWA Heavyweight Champion. Tune in to the PPV next week, and see The Scrap Daddy take over the world all over again!"
CHARLIE HAAS VS. MARK BRISCOE
After the 10 man battle royal, the two men responsible for the most elimination wanted to square off in singles competition. Both men started off in a real slug fest, that spilled outside of the ring quickly. Once outside of the ring, Shelton Benjamin jumped over the guardrail and the double team was on. The referee called for the bell, but just as quickly, Jay Briscoe came out of the crowd and joined the fray. Fans cheered on as both sets of men fought across the arena before Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team was chased off by The Briscoe Brothers. WINNER BY DQ: Mark Briscoe
Cameras catch up to the office of Al Snow. Al is sitting behind his desk with a tired look on his face, as four wrestlers spouted off to him...
Tim Donst: "I am the best young talent in the company, and for me not to be in the main event is a travesty!" Chuck Taylor: "I'm sick of children laughing at me! I'm sick of everybody laughing at me! I am not Brodie Lee's whipping boy! I'm a champion, dammit!" Steve Corino: "I came within inches of being in the Tag Team Tournament! It was a fluke that I lost!" Jimmy Jacobs: "Saturday morning cartoons really make me think!"
Al gets up slowly from behind the desk.
Al Snow: "Ok... if I get you four in an Atomicos Main Event tonight against The Throwback and Incoherence, will you get out of my office?"
All men looked around, agreed and then calmly leaved the office.
EL GENERICO VS. MICHAEL ELGIN
A revenge match for being attacked by The House of Truth, El Generico has vowed to take down the organization one man at a time. Truth Martini sent out the junior member, Elgin, to start the road to redemption. Sadly, this road did not go as smoothly for El Generico as planned. Despite overwhelming crowd support, Elgin is a dynamic powerhouse who cannot be denied. And losing to fellow stable mate Rhino a week ago, Elgin had some extra effort behind the SPINNING SIT-OUT POWERBOMB that flattened Generico. WINNER BY PINFALL: Michael Elgin
After the match, Rhino and Roderick Strong tried to storm the ring, but they were cut off by Jay Lethal and Homicide. Faced with a three on three and crowd on it's feet, Martini told his charges it wasn't worth it this evening, and all men left to a chorus of boos.
Backstage, April Hunter was getting ready to interview the four villains in the main event. As the camera panned across to them individually, it showed Jimmy Jacobs wearing the exact same top as Hunter.
Jacobs: "Well, one of us has to change..." Hunter: (blank stare) Jacobs: "Fine!" (storms off to the ring)
Cut to promo for the TOP 10 PAY-PER-VIEW, and the listings for the card...

MAIN EVENT: CORINO/JACOBS/TAYLOR/DONST VS. THROWBACKS/INCOHERENCE - ATOMICOS RULES!
This match went a solid 25 minutes with all members seeing significant ring action. Advantage went back and forth, action inside and outside of the ring. This was a match where fans got their money's worth, and all talent came out and got over strong. It finally ended, however, when Jimmy Jacobs caught Sugar Dunkerton with THE END OF TIME. WINNERS: Steve Corino, Chuck Taylor, Tim Donst, and Jimmy Jacobs

ASCENSION - THE PRE-SHOW (live from the Palumbo Center in Pittsburgh, PA)
In a segment that would be taped and shown on the syndicated show the following weekend, the crowds were filing in to their seats when Director of Operations Al Snow came down to ringside with a microphone...
"Welcome to our first ever Pay Per View in Top 10 Wrestling. I want to take this moment to thank you all for coming out here to support us. As promised when we went into business, we want to give wrestling fans the best shows every single night. And to get the night started off right, we have a surprise for you all...
"As you know, later this evening, we are going to have a tournament to crown a new NWA World's Heavyweight Champion. And if you paid attention to the bracketing, there is a spot known as Mystery Opponent. What does that mean? Simply put, we are going to give someone in our locker room a second chance to make it into the tournament. And were going to open it up to everyone who wants it. All you have to do is come into this ring, and win a 35 man battle royal. So, for you fans who wanted to come to the arena early, this is for you. Let's get it started!"
And with that, bodies started piling into the ring and we were off and running...
35 MAN SECOND CHANCE BATTLE ROYAL:
Order of eliminations...
Tim Donst was eliminated by Juan Francisco de Coronado
Cedric Alexander was eliminated by Steve Corino
Joey Ryan was eliminated by Ethan Page
Tommaso Ciampa and Willie Mack were double eliminated by Michael Elgin
Claudio Castagnoli was eliminated by Michael Elgin
Ares was eliminated by Robert Anthony
Pinkie Sanchez was eliminated by Archibald Peck
Hallowicked was eliminated by Archibald Peck
Eddie Kingston was eliminated by Archibald Peck
Juan Francisco and Matt Jackson were double eliminated by Michael Elgin
Jay Lethal was eliminated by Homicide
Dasher Hatfield was eliminated by Rhett Titus
Rico Dynamite was eliminated by Michael Elgin
Frightmare was eliminated by Rhett Titus
Cedric The Hitman was eliminated by Michael Elgin
Johnny Yuma was eliminated by Michael Elgin
Tito Escondido was eliminated by Michael Elgin
Sugar Dunkerton was eliminated by Michael Elgin
Arik Royal was eliminated by Caprice Coleman
Steve Corino was eliminated by Archibald Peck
Jimmy Jacobs was eliminated by Michael Elgin
Nick Madrid was eliminated by Archibald Peck
Robert Anthony was eliminated by Michael Elgin
Kyle O'Reilly was eliminated by Archibald Peck
Rhett Titus was eliminated by Michael Elgin
Ethan Page, The Hobo, and Homicide eliminated each other when the three men tried to line up on the top of the same turnbuckle to eliminate the other. They lost their balance and crashed to the floor with a scary bump that made the crowd hit their feet. (No man would sustain any serious injury from the fall)
There were four man left in the ring facing each other down... The sole remaining tag team member, Caprice Coleman... The high flying El Generico... The beast known as Michael Elgin... and the wily and snide Archibald Peck...
El Generico eliminated by Michael Elgin...
Caprice Coleman eliminated by Archibald Peck...
Elgin and Peck stared the other down as the crowd's cheers reached a deafening roar. Peck began throwing punches to the face of Elgin... with no effect. As he kept throwing haymakers, Elgin wrapped him up in a bear hug. Punching and screaming, Peck was carried over to the ropes and promptly thrown over the top rope. The crowd was cheering for Michael Elgin, who took to the top of the turnbuckle to acknowledge the crowd...
That's when Scorpio Sky slid in under the ropes on the other side, and with a missile dropkick, Michael Elgin went over the top ropes. The bell rang, and Scorpio Sky was declared the winner of the battle royal!
The boos cascaded from the ceiling as Sky preened and posed for the crowd, as five referees tried to restrain Elgin and explain what happened. On the large screen over the entrance ramp, a video replay showed Scorpio Sky sneaking under the ropes and sliding under the ring earlier in the match. As seen in the long shot, with two referees converging over both Tommaso Ciampa and Willie Mack, Scorpio crawled under the bottom rope and slid under the ring. Because he did not go over the top rope, he was not eliminated. And with no one noticing his exit, the match continued as Scorpio Sky hid under the ring until all men were eliminated. With Elgin on the top turnbuckle, he emerged and made his move.
Elgin was enraged and started tossing referees to the side. Sky quickly slid out of the ring as security forces led by Fit Finley surrounded and escorted Elgin out of the building. As Elgin was at the entrance ramp, Scorpio Sky took a microphone in the ring...
"Ladies and gentleman, let's give it up for Michael Elgin... who's as big as he is dumb! What's the song go? Oh wait, I know... (singing) I can toss 'em over top ropes, make 'em look like big dopes, and cause a lot of pain... But now I'll go home sad and cryin', cuz Scorpio Sky sent me flyin'... if I only had a brain!"
The crowd booed loudly as Scorpio laughed loudly... "All this talent, and I can sing, too!"
Coming to the ring was his good friend, Joey Ryan, along with four beautifully (if not scantily) clad escorts sporting champagne bottles and glasses...
"Why, thank you, Joey... and thank YOU, ladies... but let's not pop our corks just yet. We have all night long to embrace and celebrate our victories... (turning to the camera)... Welcome... to The Scorpio Sky Experience!"
(the crowd boos loudly as the camera fades to black)

(Live/Internet Pay-Per-View from The Palumbo Center in Pittsburgh, PA)
NWA HEAVYWEIGHT TOURNAMENT PRELIM: BRODIE LEE VS. 2 COLD SCORPIO
The first three minutes of the match was a living, breathing best of compilation from 2 Cold. All of the best moves he had were unleashed on Brodie Lee, trashing him from one of the ring to the other, and then out the ring entirely. But once out of the ring, Brodie Lee took over on offense, and the Big Rig proved too much for the popular veteran to overcome. Despite a late match comeback attempt, there was no escape from The Big Boot. WINNER BY PINFALL: BRODIE LEE.
Promo clip - footage of Scorpio Sky eliminating Michael Elgin from the battle royal, and Elgin throwing referees around trying to get back at Sky. Using a split screen, they showed Elgin being placed into a police car as Sky ran his mouth and mocked him.
NWA HEAVYWEIGHT TOURNAMENT PRELIM: MIKE QUACKENBUSH VS. SCORPIO SKY
Catch wrestling fans, this match was for you. Some of the best back and forth from both men was seen in this match. But to the cheers of the Scorpio Sky Experience at ringside, the crafty upstart came up with moves that Mike Quackenbush simply didn't have an answer for. East coast fans got their first look at some new moves, including the match ending Ace of Spades. Pop open the champagne, ladies! WINNER BY PINFALL - SCORPIO SKY
Promo clip - Truth Martini telling the remaining members of House of Truth (Roderick Strong and Rhino) that he would deliver them to the NWA Heavyweight Title this very night.
NWA HEAVYWEIGHT TOURNAMENT PRELIM: RODERICK STRONG VS. EDDIE EDWARDS
This Ring of Honor dream match had the fans attention from the get go. Eddie Edwards took this opportunity to show the fans the despite his past tag team success, he was ready to emerge as a champion. But as he ready to move in for the kill, Truth Martini tried to grab Edwards from outside the ring. As Eddie Edwards kicked Martini off to the side, Strong had the opening to sink in The Strong Hold, ending the match. WINNER BY SUBMISSION - RODERICK STRONG
Promo clip - Ultramantis Black with Incoherence being interviewed by April Hunter. Ultramantis Black details his plans for world domination, starting with all the local restaurants in the city. Good cheap pop, and Hallowicked's yummy sounds would become a popular sound clip.
NWA HEAVYWEIGHT TOURNAMENT PRELIM: ULTRAMANTIS BLACK VS. KEVIN STEEN
A true clash of styles and substance. The flash of Black and the power of Steen were undeniable, and considering both men had a tremendous move arsenal, there was a dimension to the match that no one saw coming. After 10 minutes, both men tumbled outside of the ring, with neither one having a true advantage. Out of frustration, Steen viciously attacked Black with a steel chair, leading to a quick DQ and scrambling of referees to get Steen back to the ring. WINNER BY DISQUALIFICATION: ULTRAMANTIS BLACK
Promo clip - Highlights of Sara Del Rey and Daizee Haze winning the Round Robin Match against Incoherence and The Throwbacks, and of The Tribe defeating Los Banditos. Could one of these upstart teams become the new Campenaros de Parejas champions?
CAMPENAROS DE PAREJAS SEMI-FINALS: DAIZEE HAZE & SARA DEL REY VS. THE TRIBE (HAWAIIAN LION & NAVAHO WARRIOR)
Both teams showed tremendous respect and shook hands before the match. The first two thirds of the match saw Haze and Del Ray fly all over the ring and hit The Tribe with all their best moves. But in time, the women's offense sputtered out against the bulk and power of the Tribe. When the Hawaiian Lion caught Daizee Haze with an ankle lock, it led to a submission. After the match, both teams held up the arms of the others in a display of both sportsmanship and sportswomanship. WINNERS BY SUBMISSION: THE TRIBE
Promo clip - Kevin Steen rampaging backstage, screaming for blood.
NWA HEAVYWEIGHT TOURNAMENT PRELIM: MIKE BENNETT VS. RHINO
The Prodigy took on The Man-Beast in arguably the best match of the prelims. Both men put in dynamic performances, but these were overshadowed by the shenanigans of their managers. In time, these shenanigans put the match to an early end when Brutal Bob took a swing at Rhino. The referee called for the bell as Rhino answered with a Gore on the hapless manager. WINNER BY DISQUALIFICATION - RHINO
Promo clip - Al Snow talking with Bryce Remsburg and Fit Finlay about the show, when Maria Kanellis ran up to them and pleaded with them to reverse the decision and give Mike Bennett the win. When Show refused, she stomped her foot, called him a meanie, and stormed off angrily.
NWA HEAVYWEIGHT TOURNAMENT PRELIM: ADAM COLE VS. ADAM PEARCE
Off all the matches, this was the most disappointing and one sided affair. Despite his best efforts, Adam Pearce completely overwhelmed Cole throughout the match. It ended with a swinging neckbreaker, but not soon enough. A rare bad match. WINNER BY PINFALL: ADAM PEARCE
Promo clip - The Ring of Honor Championship Belt is shown at different angles, with the final shot being the belt centered a logo is superimposed over it. "Top 10 Wrestling presents... Contest of Champions... Only on Pay Per View"
NWA HEAVYWEIGHT TOURNAMENT PRELIM: BRYAN DANIELSON VS. TURSAS
The crowd was hot for the return of Bryan Danielson, who quickly over on offense against The Scandinavian War Messenger. The crowds cheers went louder and louder as Danielson finally locked in a Kumora armbreaker. But once it was hooked in, crowds gasped as Tursas lifted Bryan airborne with the same arm, and drove him into the mat. One Big Splash later, and it was all over. The referee was unable to raise Tursas arm, as he wouldn't let go of the injured one. WINNER BY PINFALL: TURSAS
Promo clip - Rhino backstage talking with Truth Martini, telling him not to interfere in his matches. "This is my chance to win the most prestigious title in the world, and I want to win clean. Please, let me do this my way." Martini nods his head and agrees with his charge. Off to the side, Roderick Strong shakes his head in disappointment.
NWA HEAVYWEIGHT TOURNAMENT PRELIM: JIGSAW VS. DELIRIOUS
The battle of cruiserweight flyers was very fast paced, and as it turned out, very fast. About two minutes into the match, Jigsaw connected with a Super Kick that laid Delirious out cold. WINNER BY PINFALL - JIGSAW
Promo clip - Bill Apter and Louden Noxious went over the brackets for the Quarterfinal Round for the NWA Heavyweight Championship...
BRODIE LEE VS. SCORPIO SKY
RODERICK STRONG VS. ULTRAMANTIS BLACK
RHINO VS. ADAM PEARCE
TURSAS VS. JIGSAW
CAMPENAROS DE PAREJAS SEMI-FINALS: THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (MARK AND JAY) VS. WRESTLING'S GREATEST TAG TEAM (SHELTON BENJAMIN VS. CHARLIE HAAS)
This was the match everyone wanted to see, and they were not disappointed. Twenty minutes and 29 seconds of all out action. Every single finisher that each man had was seen at least once. Fans were literally exhausted from cheering as loud as they did. After 11 near falls, Shelton Benjamin finally caught Jay Briscoe with Paydirt for a well earned victory. WINNERS BY PINFALL: WRESTLING'S GREATEST TAG TEAM
Promo clip - Backstage, camera catch up with C & C Wrestling Factory, who keep cutting back and forth on the tag teams in the division. Through their laughs, they say they will enjoy watching seeing who becomes the champions... until we decide to take the belts from them.
(to be continued shortly...)

(writers cramp, I'm back) NWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP QUARTERFINALS - BRODIE LEE VS. SCORPIO SKY The Big Rig returned to the ring to face the brash upstart. Scorpio threw everything he had at him, but could not over power him in time to avoid The Big Boot. WINNER BY PINFALL - BRODIE LEE Promo clip - Scorpio Sky walks into his locker room, where his locker is covered with plastic wrap. Joey Ryan and the ladies are ready to douse him with champagne. As Sky begins to harangue his entourage, the lockers fall in front of them, as Michael Elgin glares them down. The ladies go off to the side, as Sky and Ryan run to a waiting limousine with Elgin in pursuit ("Forget the girls, let's get out of here!"). The limousine squeals off into the night as Elgin just misses getting a hold of them. NWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP QUARTERFINALS - RODERICK STRONG VS. ULTRAMANTIS BLACK Both men tore into each other right from the get go, each one knowing that the road to being a champion could end in an instant. Each man was surprisingly more defensive than before the evening, settling for a lot of quick strikes. But if that was a plan for Black, Strong had a plan in mind called playing possum. Once in range, Strong locked up The Strong Hold for the submission victory. WINNER BY SUBMISSION - RODERICK STRONG Promo clip - Set to the sound of "Thank Heaven For Little Girls" by Maurice Chavaulier (which later morphed into a metal cover of the song as it faded from a sepia toned cheesecake shot), the fans were treated to a two minute video showing the best moves of the women of SHIMMER. It started with the standard diva shoot, and morphed into something out of "Fight Club". As the SHIMMER and TOP 10 logos merged, Christina Von Errie looked into the camera... "Divas need not apply" she smirked before slapping the camera into static. Crowd loved this! NWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP QUARTERFINALS - ADAM PEARCE VS. RHINO The Scrap Daddy came to play! For most of the match, Rhino could not get through Pearce's offense to gain an advantage. Adam Pearce seemed to have the match won with The Jumping Piledriver, when Truth Martini jumped onto the apron and distracted the referee. With a solid shove, Martini was sent into the guardrail. When he turned around, Rhino recovered and delivered a crushing Gore for the win. WINNER BY PINFALL - RHINO As Martini crawled in the ring, the video showed how he had interfered in the match. Rhino watched in shock, and then started tearing into Martini verbally. Martini started screaming back. The conversation got more and more heated until Martini slapped Rhino in the face. To the roar of the fans, Rhino punched out Martini, and then walked out of the House of Truth NWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP QUARTERFINALS - TURSAS VS. JIGSAW A mismatch from the start, Jigsaw immediately started a series of hard kicks to the injured arm of Tursas. After a few solid kicks, the power of Tursas overcame any offense Jigsaw could throw at the monster. Tursas won the match with a choke slam that caused the monster to scream in pain. WINNER BY PINFALL: TURSAS After the match, Tursas grabbed his arm and writhed in pain. The referee made the sign of the X as medical staff (along with Claudio Castagnoli and Ares) came down to ringside to attend to the massive beast. His arm was wrapped into a splint, and it was clear that he could no longer compete in the match. Despite his being a heel wrestler, the fans gave a standing ovation to him as he made it to the back. THE COLONY (FIRE ANT, SOLDIER ANT, AND GREEN ANT) VS. F.I.S.T. (ICARUS, CHUCK TAYLOR, AND JOHNNY GARGANO) In an exhibition match that was equal parts comedy and equal parts lucha libre action, the lighter tone of this match helped get the crowd back into the wrestling after seeing Tursas' injury. From the "Ants Marching" CD skip to the "Grenade In The Ring" antics, it was all the fun you expected right up until Green Ant rolled up Icarus for the pin. WINNERS BY PINFALL: THE COLONY After the match, it all came boiling over between the members of F.I.S.T. who immediately blamed the other for the failure of the match. All three men stormed off in separate directions. April Hunter caught up with Chuck Taylor backstage... Chuck Taylor: "I am sick and tired of carrying those losers. I am sick and tired of groups. And I am sick and tired of being held back by losers who couldn't hold my jock. So for those of you who haven't quite got the message... (throwing a pair of middle fingers to the camera) YOU!!!" Cameras panned to Apter and Noxious. Apter apologized to the viewers at home for Taylor's outburst, while Noxious quietly asked if it was possible to give the finger to a fist? NWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINALS - BRODIE LEE VS. RODERICK STRONG Roderick Strong came out with Truth Martini, telling him that The House of Truth was stronger than ever without Rhino. But was it enough strength to overcome the Big Rig. One on one, Lee was overpowering Strong, but in the most decisive move in the match, as Lee went for the Big Boot, Roderick not only ducked, but he kicked out the other knee of Lee. With him on the ground, a quick submission at the hands of The Strong Hold was inevitable. WINNER BY SUBMISSION: RODERICK STRONG Truth Martini got in the faces of the announce crew, screaming over and over that the NWA Heavyweight Championship was going to belong to The House of Truth, and would never leave! NWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINALS - RHINO VS. As Rhino stood in the ring, Head Referee Bryce Remsburg announced to the crowd that due to injuries, Tursas was unable to compete this evening, and that Rhino was going to receive a bye into the finals. But as he finished, Rhino took the mic... "With all due respect, I am not going to let that happen. Hey... Pearce! I saw the replay, and I am not going ahead into the tournament like this. I'm either going into this as a champion, or as a tool. So if everyone's ok with it, let's get a rematch going. Winner takes all, and winner goes to the finals." As Adam Pearce (wearing street clothes) came to the ring with Director of Operations Al Snow, Bryce Remsburg was discussing the match with Rhino. All four men stood in the ring, and with all nodding approval, the bell rang and the crowd was hot! A couple of scary kicks with Pearce (wearing heavy boots) connecting with the head of Rhino, splitting him open. The beat-down continued until out of pure instinct, Rhino connected with The Gore, and earned a clean victory over his opponent. WINNER BY PINFALL: RHINO Promo clip - Same clip as before for Top 10 Wrestling Contest Of Champions, only now featuring the SHIMMER championship belt. CAMPENAROS DE PAREJAS FINALS - THE TRIBE (HAWAIIAN LION & NAVAJO WARRIOR) VS. WRESTLING'S GREATEST TAG TEAM (SHELTON BENJAMIN & CHARLIE HAAS) The power of both the crowd and The Tribe threw off the game plans of Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team. It took everything they had not to succumb to the offense the received, but their veteran experience proved to make the difference. In time, they were able to capitalize on small missteps and control the pace of the match. In time, The Hawaiian Lion fell to The Leap of Faith, as the first ever tag champions of Top 10 Wrestling were crowned. WINNERS BY PINFALL... AND NEW CAMPENAROS DE PAREJAS CHAMPIONS - SHELTON BENJAMIN & CHARLIE HAAS Promo clip - Backstage, Truth Martini was talking with Roderick Strong, who was warming up with punches against a heavy bag. "He wants to be without truth? He wants to do things on his own? Fine. There are plenty of wrestlers in the world who will want to join up with us once you become the NWA Heavyweight Champion. This company is ours!" Meanwhile, in another locker room, Rhino silently wraps up his wrists with tape, as he rises to his feet, he is face to face with Michael Elgin, who is glaring a hole through him. Both men stare this way for a few moments, before Elgin backs away and lets Rhino pass. Neither man takes his eyes off the other. Meanwhile, back in the ring, Gary Michael Cappetta announces to the crowd... "Tonight, the NWA Heavyweight Championship will be presented to winner to this match. And presenting that belt, please welcome with me, the eight time NWA World Heavyweight Champion... Ladies and gentlemen, HARLEY RACE!" A standing ovation greeted the former champion and legendary wrestler as he carried the NWA World Heavyweight Championship over his shoulder. Once he took his place at ringside, it was time for the main event... NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS - RODERICK STRONG VS. RHINO At the start of the night, these men were friends and partners in the same stable. Now, even without the title being factored in to the equation, these men were bitter rivals ready to take the other out. Both men let finesse give way to brute power as they did everything they could to hurt the other. The cut over Rhino's eye was reopened quickly, and it wasn't much longer when Strong started bleeding as well. As the match wore down, Rhino was setting up for The Gore when Truth Martini tried to pass The Book of Truth to Strong. As he and the referee fought over the Book, Rhino took the book out of their hands, and proceeded to lay out Martini with his own book. As he threw the book to the ground, Strong rolled him up and hooked the tights for the one... two... WAIT! Rhino powers out, moving the leverage, and now rolls up Strong for the one... two... THREE! WINNER BY PINFALL... AND NEW NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION... RHINO As Roderick Strong and Truth Martini slunk to the back, Harley Race entered the ring, and presented Rhino with the championship belt. Both men shook hands to the roar of the crowd. It was a truly moving moment, as Rhino looked like he could cry tears of joys. All of his years in the industry, and here he was, accepting the mantle of championship and tradition, and preparing to launch the next chapters of wrestling history in Top 10 Wrestling. It was not only his moment, it was a moment to be shared by all the fans watching what was transpiring in the ring. Fade to black... Copyright 2013, Top 10 Wrestling...

Press release to be announced on March 20, 2013...
"We apologize to fans of SHIMMER Wrestling for not including these talented performers on Top 10 Wrestling's first pay-per-view, Ascension. The reason for this was due to arranging the marketing and promotional rights with their parent company to share and utilize their talents and resources. We had hoped to have these resolved prior to the show, and sadly, we did not.
"It is with great pride that I sat down with all parties involved earlier today and signed the necessary documents to bring SHIMMER on board as an official partner of Top 10 Wrestling. While we cannot make up for the delay in debuting the talent, we will feature SHIMMER talent on a go-forward basis. To promise to deliver the best wrestling action and talent to the fans without this incredibly talented group of women is, in my opinion, a travesty.
"We are not bringing in this group to serve as mere eye-candy or between match fillers. Both myself and Director of Operations Al Snow intend to treat them as we do every wrestler in the company. We are going to give them a platform to show the fans and the world at large what they can do in the ring. There are no glass ceilings in our company. Simply put, if you have the talent and can deliver it in the ring, you can go as far as you want to. That applies to everyone in the company.
"That said, effective immediately, we are recognizing Saraya Knight as our SHIMMER Champion, and The Canadian Ninjas (Portia Perez and Nicole Matthews) as our SHIMMER Tag Champions. We are also proud to introduce the following women to the roster as well:
Cheerleader Melissa Madison Eagles Jessie McKay Allison Danger Leva Bates MsChef Christina Von Eerie LuFisto Courtney Rush Athena Mercedes Martinez Kellie Skater Veda Scott
"We are also proud to announce that Amber Gertner will be joining our backstage interview crew alongside April Hunter. Between the two of them, we have a pair of interviewers with extensive experience in professional wrestling, and who will take fans behind the scenes and inside the workings of Top 10 Wrestling.
"Again, we thank our fans for their patience and dedication to Top 10 Wrestling. We realize that you have multiple outlets in both media content and live events to provide your choice of entertainment, and we do not take your choosing us lightly. It is the greatest honor for us as a company to know that you chose us to entertain you with the best wrestling show in town, and we truly appreciate your support."
James Steinhoff III President/CEO, Top 10 Wrestling
