Live Event at The Crisler Arena in Ann Arbor, Michigan...
WILLIE MACK VS. TIM DONST
A dark match to open up the show. Tim Donst's push of late was not enough to overcome the newcomer from California. All it took was a couple of CHOCOLATE THUNDER BOMBS to earn the victory. WINNER BY PINFALL - WILLIE MACK
In a video package, Joey Ryan was talking to Johnny Yuma in a bar telling him that what happened in the past was over, and that he wanted Johnny to work with him to make a name for themselves in the tag teams ranks. After some back and forth, Johnny agreed!
JOEY RYAN & JOHNNY YUMA VS. HITMEN FOR HIRE (TOMMASO & CEDRIC) W/ MIKE FORTUNE
Fans were not expecting to see local favorite Mike Fortune to come out, let alone with the team he did. The pairing of Tommaso Ciampa and Cedric The Hitman was a lethal combination that overpowered the duo very quickly. Johnny was double teamed, but made a dramatic escape from the corner. But when he got to his corner, Joey Ryan dropped to the floor with his hands up to say, "Son, you're on your own". Despite his best efforts, The Hitmen wound up not only decimating Yuma, but injured him to the point where the still conscious Yuma had to be carried out on a stretcher. WINNERS BY PINFALL - THE HITMAN FOR HIRE
MIKE QUACKENBUSH VS. ADAM COLE
This match was quickly put together to help get the show back to a focus after Yuma's injury. Two fan favorites met with a handshake and proceeded to tear the house down. A couple of "5 Star Match" and "This Is Awesome" chants filled the arena as each wrestler gave it their all. The match was finalized, however, once Cole was able to catch Quackenbush with THE FLORIDA KEY. After the three count, the match ended as it began, with a handshake. WINNER BY PINFALL - ADAM COLE
Backstage, video cameras caught up with Joey Ryan and Scorpio Sky with The Scorpio Sky Experience in a lounge setting. The two of them remarked about how stupid everyone was in this organization, and that in no time at all, all of the gold will be added to the experience. Drinks all around...
MSEERIE (MSCHEF & CHRISTINA VON EERIE) VS. THE PINK LADIES (MADISON EAGLES & JESSIE MCKAY)
Fans who were waiting for SHIMMER to make a statement were happy, and those who were expecting divas prancing in the ring were disappointed. Fast action and double teams inside and outside of the ring kept the fans into the match. There was equal cheering and support for both teams, and there were no rest holds. The match would end when McKay would catch Von Eerie with THE SCHOOL GIRL CRUSH, knocking her out, and making the victory and afterthought. WINNERS BY PINFALL - THE PINK LADIES
ARCHIBALD PECK W/VERONICA VS. EL GENERICO
The "Ole" chants were louder than ever during his ring entrance, prompting Peck to grab the microphone and rip into the crowd for singing off key. Generico was the superior wrestler, but with the assistance of Veronica, the baton kept flying in and out of the ring on to be used against the popular Luchador. Despite the cheating, Generico took over control, and even intercepted the baton mid flight. But as he caught it, the referee caught hi, and called for the bell to the disappointment and groans of the fans. WINNER BY DISQUALIFICATION - ARCHIBALD PECK
S.C.U.M. (STEVE CORINO & JIMMY JACOBS) VS. THE THROWBACKS (SUGAR DUNKERTON & DASHER HATFIELD)
The action in the ring meshed classic mat wrestling with lucha libre flair. One funny moment took place when Jacobs threatened to take a spike to Dunkerton's basketball, only to have Dasher threaten Jacobs jacket with a baseball bat. The situation was resolved in a dual "hostage exchange" as the jacket and basketball were handed off simultaneously, and as Jacobs cradled his jacket, Dunkerton bounced the ball off of the rule breakers heads to the roar of the crowd. But as the match went on, the tactics of S.C.U.M. proved to be too much for our heroes, as Sugar Dunkerton fell victim to THE END OF TIME. WINNERS BY PINFALL - S.C.U.M.
INTERMISSION
Come to the gimmick tables, buy some cool stuff, get some autographs and photos with your favorite Top 10 Wrestlers - While many fans were entertained by veteran 2 Cold Scorpio, newcomer Veda Scott, and the boisterous trio of Mike Bennett, Maria Kanellis, and Brutal Bob, the most popular one this evening was The Hobo, who entertained fans with story and song. The singing brought over Archibald Peck and Veronica, who immediately chastised him for singing "the guttural backwash known as country music". Fortunately, Fit Finlay came over and got the men to back off by asking them which one wanted to see him show what he learned in his days of Catch Wrestling. As Veronica was ready to walk away, The Hobo tipped his hat to her, causing her to have a weird look on her face before she rejoined Peck.
BILL APTER INTERVIEWS NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION RHINO
To a raucous hometown crowd, Rhino came out to thank the fans for supporting him, and expressed his dedication to defend the NWA World Heavyweight title all around the world. Suddenly, Roderick Strong and Truth Martini came down to ringside in a chorus of boos. Martini got a microphone and called Rhino an "ungrateful bastard", claiming that he used The House of Truth and then abandoned them as soon as the got his title shot. Rhino shot back saying that he would rather be a champion and a man... (and then got in Strong's face)... than someone else's bitch. Both men were ready to throw down right there when Martini stepped between them (holding Apter as a shield) and told Rhino that he was fired from The House of Truth.
"No, Rhino... I'm sorry, you're not fired... you're REPLACED!"
And with that, a large man attacked him from behind with a kendo stick, taking him down. The man was none other than... KEVIN STEEN!!!
Apter got out of ring and called for security. But before they could come down, the three men made their way through the crowd and out the back. Backstage, Michael Elgin was standing there, glaring a hole in the monitor. April Hunter tried to ask him questions, but he would not speak a word. April even tried waving her hands in front of his face, but he stood like a statue. She finally walked off, shrugging her shoulders.
Earlier in the week, it was announced that the Ring of Honor (ROH) Championship was going to be awarded at the companies next pay per view, Contest of Champions. And the format for the match got the fans attention - an eight man gauntlet match under Code Of Honor rules. And the first qualifying match was ready to begin...
RING OF HONOR QUALIFYING MATCH: JUAN FRANCISCO DE CORONADO VS. EDDIE KINGSTON
With his trusty manservant Herbert by his side, the fans in attendance saw one of the most elaborate and drawn out ring entrances in the history of Michigan. Tired of the shenanigans, Kingston charged the ring and took the aristocrat down hard. What followed was a 17 minute match showing the fan exactly why both men were considered for the title. In the end, Kingston dominated the latter half of the match before rolling up Coronado for the pin. Ring of Honor has it's first title contender. WINNER BY PINFALL - RODERICK STRONG
CHEERLEADER MELISSA VS. MYSTERY OPPONENT
"The Face of Women's Wrestling" came to ringside with a microphone. She announced that she had only one goal in Top 10 Wrestling, and that was to defeat Saraya Knight and become the champion that Top 10 deserved. And to prove that point, she issued a challenge to any woman backstage who wanted the title more than she did. After a couple of moments of silence, music blared and everyone gasped... JAZZ arrived in Top 10 Wrestling. Melissa was shocked as the powerhouse quickly dominated the match, eventually getting her to submit to THE BITCH CLAMP. She refused to release it after the bell rang, forcing Melissa to tap out repeatedly. If it wasn't for The Pink Ladies charging the ring, more damage could have been done. As it stands, the women of Top 10 are now on notice. WINNER BY SUBMISSION - JAZZ
#1 CONTENDERS MATCH: BRODIE LEE VS. RODERICK STRONG
The Big Rig vs. The Messiah of The Backbreaker for a shot at the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. And is if there weren't enough ingredients in the stew, "The Scrap Daddy" Adam Pearce joined Bill Apter and Louden Noxious at the announce table. To the surprise of many, he did not interfere in the match and provided amazing insight as these two men proceeded to tear the house down. All the moves the fans wanted to see were on display as the best match of the night was saved for last. Midway through the match, Truth Martini attempted to use The Book of Truth on Lee, only to have an enraged Rhino gore him into the ringside steps. This brought out Kevin Steen and the full security force and referee squad. Fans might as well have been watching a tennis match, as the action in the ring was competing with the two brawling men being forced out of the arena by Top 10 referees and building security. From there on, Strong was disoriented in his attack plan, and Brodie Lee was able to land THE BIG BOOT over and over, and by the fourth one, he was able to get the pin fall. The fans cheered as Brodie Lee was given a shot at the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. WINNER BY PINFALL - BRODIE LEE
TOP 10 WRESTLING NWA HEAVYWEIGHT: RHINO, 270 LBS, DETROIT, MI

Live event from Alumni Hall, Annapolis, MD
JUAN FRANCISCO DE CORANADO VS. PINKIE SANCHEZ
Good dark match to open the show with. But as usual, the pre-match entrance proved a little too much for Sanchez. He tore into the aristocrat to the delight of the crowd, and received surprising cheers when he hit THE BURNING SNICKLEFRITZ. Could the fans be embracing the former Pink Ant? WINNER BY PINFALL - PINKIE SANCHEZ
BILL APTER INTERVIEWS... ADAM PEARCE
Pearce told Apter that the reason he was in Michigan last night was to scout top contenders. And in his opinion, Brodie Lee was not a deserving contender for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship at Contest of Champions. As he said this, Brodie Lee came out to ringside. Pearce continued...
"I don't want to fight for the title shot. I just want a match with you tonight. Let the fans decide who should face Rhino in four weeks. What do you say?"
Brodie Lee agreed immediately. "Let's see what happens when Scrap Iron runs into a Big Rig!"
THE HITMEN FOR HIRE (TOMMASO & CEDRIC) W/MIKE FORTUNE VS. DOUBLE DRAGON (JOHNNY GARGANO & KYLE O'REILLY)
What was supposed to be an opening match to warm up the crowd turned into a five star match. It was a coming our party for Gargano & O'Reilly, who gelled as a team immediately. They faced massive resistance from The Hitmen, including Mike Fortune, who struck O'Reilly in the leg with some form of illegal object. Despite overwhelming odds, the young duo kept fighting against impossible odds, and started to turn the tide. If not for Cedric being caught hitting Gargano with a briefcase, who knows how the match would have turned out? Top 10 fans are already clamoring for a rematch. WINNERS BY DISQUALIFICATION - DOUBLE DRAGON
ATHENA VS. KELLI SKATER
Sadly, this match fell flat in comparison to the previous match, but not by much. Athena took control of the first third of the match, but once Kelli got out of the ring and drank her Roo-Roids, things quickly turned into her favor. The Australian powerhouse exploded into action, ending the match with SKATE OR DIE. Could Jazz be facing an equally powerful opponent in the near future? WINNER BY PINFALL - KELLI SKATER
RING OF HONOR QUALIFYING MATCH - CHUCK TAYLOR VS. WILLIE MACK
The Mouth That Roared vs. Milk Chocolate, with the winner getting a spot in the Gauntlet Match for the Ring of Honor Title. Both men were also looking to solidify their dominance in the single ranks. Both men went all out in this match, with action spilling all over the ring. But in the end, the match was determined by the master of THE OMEGA DRIVER. In the span of one week, he went from part of a dysfunctional trio to a potential champion. Top 10 is on notice. WINNER BY PINFALL - CHUCK TAYLOR
ARCHIBALD PECK W/VERONICA VS. THE HOBO
As he came to the ring, The Hobo tried to give Veronica a sad looking flower, which she accepted with a smile. This enraged the Drumline Daddy, who started flailing at The Hobo. But The Hobo was fighting for pride, and the crowd was on his side. Explosive offense brought the crowds to their feet. But just as he was ready to finish the match with a Deathjump, the opportunistic Peck pushed Hobo off of the turnbuckle and found an opening to deliver THE CRANIAL CRESENDO. And after the win, Peck snatched the flower from Veronica and stomped on it in the middle of the ring. What a cad! WINNER BY PINFALL - ARCHIBALD PECK
EDDIE KINGSTON VS. CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI
Reportedly, Castagnoli was insulted by not being given a chance to compete for a title yet. If he was insulted before, he might be downright embarrassed after being defeated by the red hot Kingston. It was a very fluid in ring match, but Kingston has been on a tear since the pay per view. Some insiders are wondering if there are any members of the roster who could stand up to him on the way to a championship. WINNER BY PINFALL - EDDIE KINGSTON
INTERMISSION - The men and women of the US Navy were having fun meeting a greeting the wrestlers, but not as much fun as the wrestlers had meeting them! However, just as fans were going back to ringside, a fight broke out between Adam Cole and Arik Royal, who were signing autographs earlier during intermission. It was a back and forth brawl towards the ring, when Kevin Steen appeared and helped double team Adam Cole through a table. Fans cheered as Michael Elgin came out from the dressing room. Steen slowly backed away with a smile on his face, as Royal charged into Elgin. Elgin charged back, and both men went through another table. Elgin got up, while Royal was injured in the fall. Elgin and Steen exchanged hard looks as security intervened and separated both men. Oddly, Truth Martini was nowhere to be found...
REGENERATION X (ALLISON DANGER & LEVA BATES) VS. THE PINK LADIES (MADISON EAGLES & JESSIE MCKAY)
Fans cheered as Regeneration X came to ringside wearing the uniforms of the U.S. Navy, and clearly angered The Pink Ladies, who felt a little bit upstaged by their entrance. Not a terribly long match, as a couple minutes into the match, Eagles caught Bates with a big boot, leading to a pinfall victory for a tag team on a mission. WINNERS BY PINFALL - THE PINK LADIES
THE TRIBE (HAWAIIAN LION & NAVAHO WARRIOR) VS. C & C WRESTLING FACTORY (CAPRICE COLEMAN & CEDRICK ALEXANDER)
Sixteen minutes of five star action was how fans described this matchup. All four men hit their finishers, action in and out of the ring, and not one quarter given or taken. But in the end, the newly aggressive Wrestling Factory were able to squeeze out the victory when Coleman caught Lion for the roll up and the pin. Fans were hoping for the popular Tribe to get the victory, but respect was earned for Coleman & Alexander this night. Will a title match against Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team follow? WINNERS BY PINFALL - C & C WRESTLING FACTORY
BRODIE LEE VS. ADAM PEARCE
With nothing on the line but pride, the best match of the evening belonged to these men. Brodie Lee had the advantage early, but Pearce used his knowledge of the squared science to his advantage. He was able to dodge the BIG BOOT twice, and surprised the crowd by not only being able to lift up the 6'7" powerhouse, but to finish him off with a JUMPING PILEDRIVER. No post match attack or trash talking. Just Adam Pearce standing on the turnbuckle as Brodie Lee stared in disbelief. As Pearce climbed down, Director of Operations Al Snow came down to announce that this Saturday in Ohio, both men would meet again in a two out of three falls match, with the number one contender position on the line. Which man will emerge to face Rhino for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship?
TOP 10 WRESTLING: NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: RHINO, 270 LBS, DETROIT, MI 1) Brodie Lee, 265 lbs., Lincoln, NE 2) Adam Pearce, 240 lbs., San Diego, CA 3) Eddie Kingston, 228 lbs.,Yonkers, NY 4) Arik Royal, 270 lbs., Moreno Valley, CA 5) Chuck Taylor, 200 lbs., Murray, KY 6) Michael Elgin, 245 lbs., Toronto, Ontario, Canada 7) Mike Bennett, 225 lbs., Boston, MA 8) Kevin Steen, 255 lbs., Marieville, Quebec, Canada 9) Archibald Peck, 198 lbs., Tuxedo, Manitoba, Canada 10) Ultramantis Black, 206 lbs., Black Tea Garden

Live event from the M.A.C. Center, Cleveland, Ohio
JUAN FRANCISCO DE CORONADO VS. DAVEY RICHARDS
Fans who came early to see the dark match of the show were delighted to see the return of Richards, who has missed weeks of in ring action at the hands of "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett. Coronado desperately wants to move up the ladder in Top 10, but it wasn't going to be this evening, as Richards went pillar to post with the aristocrat before finishing him off with The Alarm Clock. Can a rematch be coming? - WINNER BY PINFALL: DAVEY RICHARDS
MICHAEL ELGIN VS. ARCHIBALD PECK
This match came about after Peck took to the ring with a microphone and declared rock and roll music obsolete, and all the people in Cleveland "without culture or decorum". It took Elgin less than three minutes from his entrance music playing to taking Peck out with a SPINNING SIT DOWN POWER BOMB. While it was a fun match to watch (especially those who wanted to see Peck get him comeuppance), Truth Martini, Roderick Strong, and new member of the House of Truth Kevin Steen came out at the end of the match to the top of the walkway. Rather than go back and meet them, Elgin walked out through a cheering crowd. Steen looked like he wanted to go after Elgin, but was held back by Strong and Martini. What is going on in The House of Truth? - WINNER BY PINFALL - MICHAEL ELGIN
JAZZ VS. MERCEDES MARTINEZ
Jazz has been nothing less than a dynamo since emerging in Top 10 Wrestling, but Mercedes Martinez came to play. No matter what power move Jazz used, Martinez was able to find a counter to it. The frustration took over Jazz, who resorted to dirty tactics with a steel chair. As soon as the chair connected with Martinez, the bell rang and the referees hit the ring. Given the tensions backstage of late and injuries in ring, Bryce Remsberg has his crew on high alert. WINNER BY DISQUALIFICATION - MERCEDES MARTINEZ
THE HOBO VS. RHETT TITUS
Still wearing a withered flower on his jacket, Titus took the microphone and made a snide remark about how easy it is for him to take the flower from a young lady like Veronica. This riled up The Hobo who came out swinging, but it was exactly the kind of mind games Rhett Titus knows will work against The Hobo. The sadistic smile was evident even up in the cheap seats when Titus hit THE MUFF DRIVER for the win. And his casual taking of the flower from the jacket after the match makes one wonder... was this all to beat The Hobo... or does the Ladies Man have his eye on a certain someone? WINNER BY PINFALL - RHETT TITUS
C & C WRESTLING FACTORY (CAPRICE COLEMAN & CEDRICK ALEXANDER) VS. INCOHERENCE (FRIGHTMARE & HALLOWICKED)
Ruthless aggression has brought C & C Wrestling Factory very far. The once popular fan favorites took it to Incoherence in a true battle of strength vs. agility. In a weird wrinkle to the match, all out of the ring shenanigans were mastered by the fan favorites, while the in ring work was mastered by the heels. A solid match that was ended when Caprice Coleman caught Hallowicked with a THERMAL SHOCK. And to the shock of the duo, after the match, Director of Operations Al Snow came down to ringside to congratulate the duo, and inform them that they are getting a title shot for the Campeonatos de Parejas against Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team tomorrow night in Princeton. "Don't party too late, fellas!" said Snow before the duo started their in ring celebration. WINNERS BY PINFALL - C AND C WRESTLING FACTORY
RING OF HONOR QUALIFYER MATCH - "THE PRODIGY" MIKE BENNETT VS. KEVIN STEEN
Fans really didn't know who to cheer for in this one, as these two masters of dirty tactics were pulling out all the stops to get a spot in the Gauntlet Match for the ROH Championship. And the first casualties of the matches were the managers. As Steen was choking out Bennett with some ringside cables, the referee was busy breaking up a fist fight between Brutal Bob and Truth Martini (well, if by fist fight, it was Bob all over Martini, and Martini curled up in a ball screaming like a girl). But once both men were escorted to the back by referees, Maria Kanellis, and Roderick Strong, a very surprising match came out of it. Without the managers interfering, both men put on a classic match against the other. But in time, Steen couldn't match up with Bennett move for move, finally catching him with THE BOX OFFICE SMASH. WINNER BY PINFALL - MIKE BENNETT
After the match, Steen called out Elgin to the ring to fight him. Truth Martini and Roderick Strong tried to calm Wrestling's Worst Nightmare, but he would not hear of it. He said that Elgin is not part of the group and shows no loyalty to them. Martini said that Elgin is part of the House of Truth, and is part of their family. And he told the fans that tomorrow night, he would have camera crews ready to show Elgin getting revenge against Bennett for winning the qualifier match at the expense of The House of Truth. "After tomorrow night, everyone will know that Michael Elgin is part of The House of Truth, and that this house is stronger than ever!"
INTERMISSION - Come on down for some cool tee-shirts and gimmicks. Get some autographs. Try the corn dogs!
BILL APTER INTERVIEWS... SHIMMER TAG TEAM CHAPMIONS, THE CANADIAN NINJAS!
Portia Perez and Nicole Matthews were greeted with a standing ovation when they were called out by Bill Apter. Both women expressed thanks to the crowd for all the support the women of SHIMMER. Apter told them the respect was well earned, as they have held the Shimmer Tag Team titles for over two years. They said that anyone in the back who wants to "woman up", they will gladly meet them in the center of the ring for the gold. No run ins or threats, just a solid interview putting over the women of Top 10.
OLYMPUS RISING (ARES & ICARUS) VS. DOUBLE DRAGON (JOHNNY GARGANO & KYLE O'REILLY)
The loudest pop of the night was for Double Dragon when they entered the ring. Not only because of the popularity the duo, but in the case of Gargano, he was a hometown favorite. But as they soaked in the adulation and addressed the crowd, a new tag team emerged from the back. Olympus Rising is the pairing of Ares and Gargano's former partner, Icarus, along with a third member of the stable, Athena. Icarus took to the mic, telling fans that leaving Gargano was the best thing that could have ever happened to him. "For no longer chained to mere mortals, I have found those who, like me, are gods!". Arguably the best tag match of the night, match went over 15 minutes before Ares caught O'Reilly with a TIGER DRIVER for the win. Crowd was stunned, but impressed. The tag ranks are set to explode! WINNERS BY PINFALL - OLYMPUS RISING
THE PINK LADIES (MADISON EAGLES & JESSIE MCKAY) VS. MSEERIE (MSCHEF & CHRISTINA VON EERIE)
Both sides of the tracks were well represented in an all out war! Even the most jaded audience members were won over by the in ring action, with "Five Star Match" and "This Is Awesome" chants broke out. There was even a "Holy Poop!" chant when Madison Eagles was hurricanrana'd off the top turnbuckle to the floor by MsChef. But while MsEerie had the advantage for most of the match, it only took one misstep for fortunes to reverse. And once McKay caught Von Eerie with 7 MINUTES IN HEAVEN, it was all that was needed. And after the match, Director of Operations Al Snow came to the ring with The Canadian Ninjas. "You both wanted the best, you're getting your wish. Tomorrow night, the SHIMMER Tag Team titles are on the line. Good luck, ladies!" WINNERS BY SUBMISSION - THE PINK LADIES
Backstage, Michael Elgin found himself surrounded by Martini, Strong and Elgin. His eyes were on the ground as Martini spoke...
"All of this talk about The House falling apart must end. This trio is stronger than ever before. We cast away Rhino, and replaced a man-beast with a nightmare! We have the Messiah of The Backbreaker as the heart and soul of the team. And tomorrow, we will have the unbreakable force of Top 10 enact revenge for keeping us out of the Ring of Honor Tournament." (lifting his head to look him in the eye). "Michael, it's time for you to do what is right for the family. Show the world what The House of Truth is all about..."
#1 CONTENDERS MATCH - BRODIE LEE VS. ADAM PEARCE
With a PPV shot against the NWA World Heavyweight Champion Rhino in the balance, both men gave it their all. But in the time it took both men to prepare, Pearce did the better job of scouting his opponent. While Lee used his raw power and reach advantage to his fullest advantage, Pearce found new ways to fight out from underneath and re-take the advantage. 12 minutes into the match, Pearce was able to use the JUMPING PILEDRIVER to end the match. WINNER BY PINFALL... AND NEW #1 CONTENDER - ADAM PEARCE
After the match, Adam Pearce took the microphone and addressed the crowd...
"Rhino, the first time you beat me, your former manager distracted the referee from making the three count. The second time, I was leaving the arena in street clothes when you called me out. But all that is in the past. Three weeks from now, on Pay Per View, you and I will face off for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. And as you know now, the title is defended in 2 Out Of 3 Falls matches. So when you and I meet, there will be no flukes. no upsets. You are raw power personified, and strong enough to hold the strap over your shoulders. Well, so was Brodie Lee. No one in the world is better than scouting opponents for weaknesses than I am. And believe me, you will find that out the hard way..."
TOP 10 WRESTLING: NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: RHINO, 270LBS., DETROIT, MI 1) Adam Pearce, 240 lbs., San Diego, CA 2) Mike Bennett, 225 lbs., Boston, MA 3) Eddie Kingston, 228 lbs., Yonkers, NY 4) Chuck Taylor, 200 lbs., Murray, KY 5) Arik Royal, 270 lbs., Moreno Valley, CA 6) Adam Cole, 215 lbs., Panama City, FL 7) Michael Elgin, 245 lbs., Toronto, Ontario, Canada 8) Brodie Lee, 265 lbs., Lincoln, ME 9) Ultramantis Black, 206 lbs., Black Tea Garden 10) Willie Mack, 270 lbs., St. Louis, MO

Live Event from the Jadwin Gymnasium, Princeton, NJ
Dark Match: Eddie Edwards vs. Ethan Page
Great match to warm up the crowd. Both wrestlers are currently lost in the shuffle, so to speak, so this was a chance for them to impress Top 10 Management. And that was accomplished by Edwards, who dominated the match start to finish with a brutal offense, leading to Page falling to DIE HARD. Can the former American Wolf meet success in the singles ranks from here, and when/if he does, will Davey Richards be waiting? WINNER BY PINFALL - EDDIE EDWARDS
THE THROWBACKS (DASHER HATFIELD & SUGAR DUNKERTON) VS. THE TRIBE (HAWAIIAN LION AND NAVAJO WARRIOR)
Odd match to start the show. Both men showed sportsman ship, but barely across the two minute mark, Hawaiian Lion rolled up Sugar Dunkerton in a small package for the win. Two fan favorites in a short match = bad start for the show. Fans kind of sat on their hands through this one. WINNERS BY PINFALL - THE TRIBE
MERCEDES MARTINEZ VS. CHEERLEADER MELISSA
Now we're in business. Both women brought out their best moves to win back the crowd and get them cheering. Melissa has the fan support and amazing offense, but Martinez brings a physicality to the ring unlike any other competitors. She would not only get the pinfall victory in the match, but as Director of Operations Al Snow would inform her after the match, she would face the SHIMMER champion Saraya Knight this Saturday for the title in Philadelphia. A well earned reward, indeed. WINNER BY PINFALL - MERCEDES MARTINEZ
2 COLD SCORPIO VS. THE HOBO
In what was going to be a match to determine who would receive a shot in the ROH Championship Gauntlet, the two were interrupted by Scorpio Sky and Joey Ryan, who chastised the duo verbally until both 2 Cold and The Hobo had enough and brought the fight to them. Referees came in, and bippity boppity boo...
2 COLD SCORPIO & THE HOBO VS. SCORPIO SKY & JOEY RYAN
While Scorpio and Hobo controlled the onset of the match, Scorpio Sky's agility and Joey Ryan's underhanded tactics took over in time. To the cheers of the Scorpio Sky Experience (sipping their usual champagne at ringside), the match ended when Ryan unleashed THE WALK OFF on 2 Cold, knocking him out... well, cold. The cocky duo celebrated all the way up the entrance ramp, although Ryan was limping along the way. Could the self proclaimed "Prince of Sleaze" have injured himself in the match? WINNERS BY PINFALL - SCORPIO SKY & JOEY RYAN
ADAM COLE VS. RHETT TITUS
If at first you don't succeed, try try again. A second ROH Qualifier match was scheduled, with two men who are certainly worthy of title contention. Cole unleashed all of the most potent offense you could imagine, but there were three two-and-three-quarters counts, as somehow Titus found the will to power out of the pinning predicaments. It became a true gut check for both men, and ended quickly when a battered Titus caught Cole with THE MUFF DRIVER, and used an unseen handful of tights to get the pinfall victory, and to join Eddie Kingston, Chuck Taylor, and Mike Bennett as the first four men in The Gauntlet Match. Who will emerge as the new ROH Champion? WINNER BY PINFALL - RHETT TITUS
CAMPEONATOS DE PAREJAS TITLE MATCH - WRESTLING'S GREATEST TAG TEAM (SHELTON BENJAMIN & CHARLIE HAAS - CHAMPIONS) VS. C & C WRESTLING FACTORY (CEDRICK ALEXANDER & CAPRICE COLEMAN, CHALLENGERS)
The first of two title matches was a match of sudden pin attempts that kept fans glued to the action. But despite their best efforts in recent weeks, C & C Wrestling Factory lacked the experience necessary against a team that proved that not only did they deserve their team name, but the right to hold onto the gold as well. At one point, it looked like the challengers had a chance to win. But when they mistimed the C & C CONNECTION COMBO, Benjamin took full advantage and intercepted Coleman with PAYDIRT. WINNERS BY PINFALL - AND STILL CAMPEONATOS DE PAREJAS CHAMPIONS - WRESTLING'S GREATEST TAG TEAM.
INTERMISSION - Think you had enough Easter Candy? Not until you've seen Pinkie Sanchez handing out candy while wearing a pink bunny outfit! Bryan Danielson, Sara Del Rey, and Daizee Haze were also on hand to sign autographs. Plus, a YouTube sensation was found when both Del Rey and Danielson tried to claim which one was the master of the cattle mutilation! After three minutes of spirited debate, Haze chimed in with "You know, I thought it was McDonald's who were the masters of cattle mutilation?" Awkward moment of silence, breaking laughter all around. Good times!
BILL APTER INTERVIEWS... TIM DONST
A very creepy interview. Tim Donst was staring at the camera, and never seemed to blink. His statement was spoken slowly, deliberately into the camera... "My name is Tim Donst, and I promise you... very soon... it will be a name you will come to fear..."
JAY LETHAL & HOMICIDE VS. TEAM S.C.U.M. (STEVE CORINO & JIMMY JACOBS)
It was a homecoming for all parties involved, having lived in or wrestled in the NJ area in their youth. Despite their profiles and resumes as singles wrestlers, Lethal and Homicide proved to gel together very well. Corino was the most effective wrestler in the match, and stood out very well. But in time, it was the hometown boys who brought of the match to an end, as Lethal made Corino submit to a figure four leglock. After the match, a wild melee broke out between two teams. And for the fans of hardcore, seeing Homicide (with a fork) and Jacobs (with a spike) go at it brought out a familiar (if not misplaced) chant. Both men were ready to go for the jugular, and if not for their partners, who knows what would occur? WINNERS BY SUBMISSION - JAY LETHAL & HOMICIDE
MIKE BENNETT (W/ MARIA KANELLIS & BRUTAL BOB) VS. MICHAEL ELGIN (W/ TRUTH MARTINI)
Fans were on their feet, feeling the tension that was building between Elgin and Martini was near the boiling point. Elgin was not in the right frame of mind, but his actions were strong enough to carry through with making Bennett fight the match of his career. At one point, Elgin was down for the county, when Martini distracted the referee long enough for him to get to his feet. But from there, Elgin simply could not keep up with the violence of Bennett's offense. It took a few attempts, but in time, Elgin found himself on the receiving end of a PHOTO FINISH, as the trio from Boston celebrated their victory over yet another member of The House of Truth. WINNER BY PINFALL - MIKE BENNETT
After the match, Martini chastised Elgin relentlessly. Raising his voice, pointing fingers, name calling. All the while, Elgin shook more and more and more, until he finally lashed out and caught Martini with a Black Hole Slam. Fans were on their feet as Elgin has finally had enough of Martini and The House of Truth. Suddenly, Roderick Strong and Kevin Steen were in the ring beating Elgin down with steel chairs. As they were getting ready to take his head off with a double chair swing, a figure rushed Strong and knocked him clear out of the ring. The crowd cheered loudly as the figure was recognized as... RHINO! The NWA World Heavyweight Champion fought off both men, and threw them out of the ring. With The House of Truth thrown out of the ring, Rhino helped Elgin up, and raised his hand in victory. Two former members of The House of Truth then issued a challenge for this Saturday night in Philadelphia. Rhino & Elgin vs. Steen & Strong, in a Philadelphia Street Fight!!!
SHIMMER TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - THE CANADIAN NINJAS (PORTIA PEREZ & NICOLE MATTHEWS - CHAMPIONS) VS. THE PINK LADIES (MADISON EAGLES & JESSIE MCKAY - CHALLENGERS)
Truly, a five star match, and a worthy main event for the evening. The offense and tag team precision of both teams evoked flashbacks of the great tag team action that once dominated the Northeast. But the longer the match went on, the more the challengers seemed to find new ways to counter the offense of the champions. As the match neared the 20 minute time limit, both Matthews and Eagles were fighting out of the ring. Perez was going to closing in to take out an exhausted McKay. But at the last possible moment, she connected with THE SCHOOL GIRL CRUSH, and shocked everyone with the pinfall victory. New champions were crowned, and hugged each other obnoxiously to the jeers of the fans. WINNERS BY PINFALL... AND NEW SHIMMER TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS... THE PINK LADIES
Rest well, fans... for Philly awaits...

Live event from The Palestra - Philadelphia, PA
Claudio Castagnoli vs. Ethan Page (dark match) - You could tell how much Castagnoli loved being in this match, and he unleashed it on Ethan Page, who is trying very hard to make an impact with the Top 10 fans. Sadly, it wasn't in this match, as Castagnoli overpowered him from the get go, and any offense Page was able to muster had very little effect. Rumors abound that talent may be released in the near future, so this is not a good sign for the youngster from Canada. WINNER BY PINFALL - CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI
The Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson) vs. Mike Mondo & Shane Hollister - To the surprise of everyone involved, the first match of the evening was a five star match! This was originally going to be a warm up match for both The Young Bucks (who are going to have a rematch with C & C Wrestling Factory at Contest Of Champions), where Mondo and Hollister have both come back for injury. Mondo and Hollister showed a tremendous amount of poise and teamwork, with Mondo coming across as a star in the making. This match did have some controversy, as after the referee was accidentally knocked out by Mike Mondo in a collision, Nick Jackson actually caught Mike Mondo coming off the top rope with a mid air hurracanrana, bringing the crowds to their feet. Sadly, the referee could not have made a certain three count. It took another eight minutes of action before Nick Jackson would catch Mondo with MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. Both teams look very strong, and the crowd is hungry for more! WINNERS BY PINFALL - THE YOUNG BUCKS
Bryan Danielson vs. Scorpio Sky - The first match of the night to see blood, as Scorpio Sky unleashed some of the most devastating offense seen in Top 10's young history. A bloody Danielson tried to seize control and began an MMA based comeback with strikes and kicks. But the damage was already done, and Sky capitalized with a ACE CRUSHER, and then followed up with a DRAGON SLEEPER. But as the replay showed, the Ace Crusher had already knocked Danielson out, and the referee had issued a stop to the match. Afterwards, a clearly injured Danielson had to be assisted to the back. Later reports would tell of a concussion, and that Danielson will be out at least six weeks. WINNER BY SUBMISSION/KO - SCORPIO SKY
Nora Greenwald & Tina Moretti vs. Regeneration X (Allison Danger & Leda Bates) - The ladies of Regeneration X brought the crowd to their feet by coming out dressed in the attire of Rob Van Dam and The Sandman. And the crowd stayed on their feet as veterans Greenwald & Moretti emerged as the challengers for the evening. And the veterans were easily able to outmaneuver the younger duo as Moretti was able to catch Bates in the pinfall. This clearly impressed Director of Operations Al Snow, who came down after the match to announce that the duo would receive a title match the following night in Washington, DC against The Pink Ladies. Welcome back to the show, ladies! WINNERS BY PINFALL - NORA GREENWALD & TINA MORETTI
RING OF HONOR QUALIFYER - Adam Cole vs. Willie Mack - These two had a great back and forth with some great sportsmanship and countermoves. Both men put on a great pace, with Willie Mack winning the bout with a pair of CHOCOLATE THUNDER BOMBS for the win. However, with the second move, it caused a lot of damage to Cole, who was helped back by medical staff and Mack, who was visibly upset over hurting him. Later reports would reveal a broken rib for Cole, resulting in his being out action for the next few weeks. WINNER BY PINFALL - WILLIE MACK
RING OF HONOR CHAMPIONSHIP GAUNTLET MATCH AT CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS - Eddie Kingston, Chuck Taylor, Mike Bennett, Rhett Titus, Willie Mack, TBD, TBD, TBD
The Tribe (Hawaiian Lion & Navajo Warrior) vs. Hitmen for Hire (Cedric & Tommaso) w/ Mike Fortune - Between this match and the earlier tag matches, Top 10 is clearly where the best tag team matches can be seen. The Tribe's power moves against the game plan of the Hitmen was something to behold. The Hitmen used every trick in the book to get the advantage, including Mike Fortune hitting Navajo Warrior with a stun rod while the referee was distracted. In spite of the pain, however, Warrior was able to get out of the ring, and his partner unleashed an amazing array of offense before putting Cedric away with RESERVATION DEVASTATION. Strong win for the standing ovation. WINNERS BY PINFALL - THE TRIBE
INTERMISSION - Does anyone even read this part? Just checking. Let me know if I can make this thread better, ok? Moving on
BILL APTER INTERVIEWS... OLYMPUS RISING - Coming out in togas and sandals came the new group known as Olympus Rising; Ares, Icarus, and Athena. They immediately took the microphone from Apter, and escorted him out of the ring, with they called "The Home of The Gods, and not suited for mere mortals like YOU!". They then spent the next five minutes tearing down the audience, constantly telling them to bow down and show homage to gods in mortal flesh. The crowds reaction turned to cheers when Double Dragon and Kellie Skater came to ringside, and a six way brawl ensued. The crowd chanted "let them fight", and Director of Operations Al Snow, ever the mensch, gave the fans what they wanted...
Olympus Rising (Ares, Icarus, & Athena) vs. Double Dragon (Johnny Gargano & Kyle O'Reilly) & Kellie Skater - To the surprise (and disappointment) of the fans, this impromptu match turned out to be a rather one sided affair, ending with Icarus catching O'Reilly with THE WINGS OF ICARUS for the win. Icarus refused to release the hold afterwards, and the brawl was back on. Security forces worked overtime trying to keep these six apart, until Finlay came down with a shillelagh and started cleaning house. WINNERS BY SUBMISSION - OLYMPUS RISING
SHIMMER CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - Saraya Knight (champion) vs. Mercedes Martinez (challenger) - This match was a major disappointment, as only two minutes into the match, Saraya Kight was outside of the ring with her opponent, and attacking her with a steel chair. Bryce Remsberg had no choice but to call for the bell. WINNER BY DISQUALIFICATION - MERCEDES MARTINEZ
After the match, Director of Operations Al Snow came out to address the SHIMMER Champion...
"If you think this is over, and that your title is secure, think again. You will face Mercedes Martinez at Contest of Champions with the title on the line. Furthermore, between now and then, I'm booking you in non-title matches. If you lose by pinfall or submission to anyone in those matches, or if your opponent wins by count out or disqualification, you will also face them at the pay per view. I have no problem making this a three or four way match, so I hope for your sake, you can win like a champion. Good luck!"
Mike Bennett w/ Maria Kanellis & Brutal Bob vs. Eddie Kingston - 22 minutes of perfection is how the dirt sheets would call this match. The most back and forth match rolled by dice to date. Maria Kanellis attempting interference, only to be met by a Kingston kiss and bump. Later on, Brutal Bob would attempt interference, only to fall to the BACKFIST TO THE FUTURE. But the two attempts did leave enough time for the match to continue, and the conditioning of Bennett allowed him to secure a victory with THE BOX OFFICE SMASH. Both men were totally spent by the end of the match, as the crowd gave them a standing ovation. Outstanding match! WINNER BY PINFALL - MIKE BENNETT
PHILADELPHIA STREET FIGHT RULES - NWA World Heavyweight Champion Rhino & Michael Elgin vs. Kevin Steen & Roderick Strong w/ Truth Martini - Sadly, this match didn't go as long as the fans would have liked it to. Sure, there was the out of ring action and brawling one expected, and weapons galore. But three minutes into the melee, Rhino was attacked from behind by Adam Pearce in street clothes. The attack was enough to allow Kevin Steen to catch him with THE PACKAGE PILEDRIVER for the win. WINNERS BY PINFALL - RODERICK STRONG AND KEVIN STEEN
The fans booed loudly as Pearce joined the members of The House of Truth to team up against Rhino and Elgin. And due to the nature of the match, there was nothing security could do so long as it was contained in the ring. Roaring to the comeback was Elgin, who showed off his massive power display by taking the fight back to them. But just as he was ready to get his hands on Truth Martini, Scorpio Sky and Joey Ryan entered the fray, beating down Elgin with kendo sticks. The six men took out the two heroes by driving them hard through tables, leaving them buried in a pile of debris. The House of Truth, The Scorpio Sky Experience (minus the ladies and champagne, for once), and the number one contender for the NWA World Heavyweight title stood defiant against the booing crowd. Will there be retribution between at Contest of Champions?
TOP 10 WRESTLING: NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: Rhino, 270 lbs., Detroit, MI 1) Adam Pearce, 240 lbs., San Diego, CA 2) Mike Bennett, 225 lbs., Boston, MA 3) Eddie Kingston, 228 lbs., Yonkers, NY 4) Kevin Steen, 255 lbs., Marieville, Quebec, Canada 5) Chuck Taylor, 200 lbs., Murray, KY 6) Willie Mack, 270 lbs., St. Louis, MO 7) Davey Richards, 208 lbs., Othello, WA 8) Scorpio Sky, 197 lbs., Big Bear, CA 9) Eddie Edwards, 212 lbs., Boston, MA 10) Michael Elgin, 245 lbs., Toronto, Ontario, Canada

BREAKING NEWS:
According to an undisclosed source, there was a recent meeting between Top 10 Wrestling owner James Steinhoff III, Director of Operations Al Snow, Media Director Jim Cornette, Senior Official Bryce Remsburg, Security Chief Fit Finlay, and the announce crew members (Bill Apter, Louden Noxious, April Hunter, Amber Gertner, and Gary Michael Cappetta). The meeting was held to determine where improvements could be made in the shows. With Steinhoff and Snow holding court, everyone was given an opportunity to provide feedback and suggestions. The meeting lasted three hours, and was heated at some parts. Both April and Amber wanted to have more to do with the show other than being backstage interviewers. Bryce Remsberg wanted fines for wrestlers who make contact with officials. Jim Cornette wanted to also run the website along with the syndicated shows. And most shocking, Fit Finlay wanted the authority to go after wrestlers who deliberately injure other wrestlers and "give them a proper punishment".
But the bigger part of the story is that after the meeting, Steinhoff and Snow had a private meeting for another two hours. While there is no audio tape confirming it, the undisclosed source said that it was a discussion of talent, both in and out of the ring, that the two were considering firing after Contest of Champions. With an active roster of it's size, Top 10 Wrestling does have more personnel than other wrestling companies in the country. Both men made suggestions, and over 24 names were listed. And while there was a lot of debate on most of the names, there were eight that the men were in complete agreement on letting go of. In addition, there was discussion about recent contact from two former world champions who have expressed interest in joining Top 10 Wrestling. While debating whether or not to add new talent at this time, both men agreed that anyone entering this company is entering the company to work, with no guarantees given in signing new talent. So long as both men knew that, Top 10 Wrestling would be willing to sign the two former world champions.

Live event from The Bender Arena, in Washington, DC (was supposed to post last Sunday, sorry for the delay)
The Hobo vs. Ethan Page (w/Seleziya Sparx) (dark match) - With the recent rumors of talent releases, both men did their best to put on a good show. But Page dominated from start to finish. Will this be enough to ensure job security? WINNER BY PINFALL - ETHAN PAGE
Archibald Peck (w/Veronica) vs. Pinkie Sanchez - Never would have thought that Peck would be a leading heel, and Sanchez would be a cult favorite? Great opening match for the crowd, especially when Veronica was told to leave the ring for illegal handling of a baton (the referee couldn't understand why the audience was giggling over that). But the fans had plenty to cheer about when Sanchez won a catch styled pin reversal for the victory. Especially the big burly fan wearing the HARDCORE PINK shirt. WINNER BY PINFALL - PINKIE SANCHEZ
Mercedes Martinez vs. Athena - True clash of styles here. Athena came to the ring carried on a pedestal, while Mercedes came in through the crowd. Both women were game, but Mercedes has been on fire of late. With the use of a FISHERMAN'S BUSTER, she moves closer and closer to her match with Saraya Knight at Contest of Champions. Can the SHIMMER Championship soon be hers? WINNER BY PINFALL - MERCEDES MARTINEZ
Olympus Rising (Ares & Icarus) vs. The Briscoe Brothers (Jay & Mark) - Hometown favorites? The Briscoe Brothers came in with tremendous support against the "Gods in Mortal Flesh". Of all the matchups, this one was the best when it came to back and forth action, with both sides looking strong. The reversal of fortunes finally caught up with Olympus, when Jay Briscoe caught Ares with THE JAY DRIVER for the win. WINNERS BY PINFALL - THE BRISCOE BROTHERS
RING OF HONOR QUALIFYING MATCH: Tursas vs. Davey Richards - The Scandinavian War Messenger made his return from injury to face Davey Richards for a spot in the Ring of Honor Championship Gauntlet Match at Contest of Champions. But with a "go for broke" mentality, Richards went full tilt in the offense and delivered some of the most brutal punches and kicks seen inside of a wrestling ring. Many fans thought it was a shoot! Tursas was beginning to make a strong comeback when Richards caught him in the ANKLE LOCK. WINNER BY SUBMISSION - DAVEY RICHARDS
ROH CHAMPIONSHIP GAUNTLET MATCH - EDDIE KINGSTON VS. CHUCK TAYLOR VS. MIKE BENNETT VS. RHETT TITUS VS. WILLIE MACK VS. DAVEY RICHARDS VS. TBD VS. TBD - Coming to Contest of Champions!
Jay Lethal & Homicide vs. Los Banditos (Rico Dynamite & Tito Escondito) - Los Banditos came into the match with a powerful offense, and took control of the match quickly with their chemistry and effective double teams. If there is one weakness to Lethal & Homicide, it is that they do not have much experience as a tag team. In the end, experience gave way to excellence, as both Lethal and Homicide were able to take the best shots from Los Banditos, and to return them in kind. Great back and forth match, with Jay Lethal connecting a LETHAL INJECTION on Tito Escondito for the victory. WINNERS BY PINFALL - JAY LETHAL & HOMICIDE
After the match, Director of Operations Al Snow came down to announce to both men that they have earned a title match against Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team next week in St. Louis, MO. Both men expressed their thanks to the crowd, and promised to make history in one of the most storied cities in professional wrestling.
INTERMISSION - Fans and wrestlers meeting, autographs and photos taken, merchandise sold, and delicious hot dogs for the kids. Oh, and Tim Donst walking around, carrying what appeared to be a dog collar over his shoulder. The few brave fans who tried to talk to him only heard a sickly laugh and a sinister smile that sent them scrambling from him. Donst has been acting very strangely of late, and one can only wonder what's going on in that head of his...
Bill Apter interviews... Cheerleader Melissa
Cheerleader Melissa came down in a playful sort of mood. She was very coy in asking Bill (or "Willy", as she called him) if she was in his Top 10 list. A clearly nervous Apter said she was. But when she asked if she was his number one (as she fiddled with his tie), he said, "Well, no... that would be Mercedes Martinez!" With anger in her eyes, she grabbed his tie and squeezed it tight, making him gasp and turn red. She screamed "That no class tramp is NOTHING compared to me!". Suddenly, Mercedes ran in from the crowd in street clothes, forcing Melissa to retreat to the dressing room. Mercedes helped Apter to his feet and helped him back to the announce desk with Louden Noxious.
Willie Mack vs. Adam Pearce - Both men are in the title hunt, and were out to prove their mettle to the rabid fans in Washington. Willie Mack was completely dominating and took control of the match right from the onset. If it wasn't for the craftiness of Pearce, he would never have found the means to fight back and to get out from under the assault of "Milk Chocolate". Just when it looked like Mack was ready to earn the pinfall, "Scrap Daddy" surprised him with a JUMPING PILEDRIVER for the sudden win. WINNER BY PINFALL - ADAM PEARCE
After the match, Pearce started laying the boots to Mack. That's when 2 Cold Scorpio came out to the ring to defend his friend. Pearce backed away as 2 Cold started to challenge him to fight him. From behind, Scorpio Sky and Joey Ryan sneak attacked 2 Cold and started delivering a brutal beating. Sky kept on shouting "Imposter" and "Wannabe" as he laid in the boots. Suddenly, Adam Pearce jumped out of the ring and Michael Elgin charged in from the dressing room. Both members of The Scorpio Sky Experience were oblivious to his entrance. When they turned around, Michael Elgin charged them, and caught Ryan with a spear as Sky escaped the ring. Elgin devastated Ryan with a SPINNING SIT DOWN POWERBOMB, and started to go after Sky when Top 10 Security (led by Fit Finlay) surrounded the ring and separated the parties. Senior Official Bryce Remsburg then got onto the microphone.
"On behalf of Director of Operations Al Snow, at Contest of Champions, Scorpio Sky and Michael Elgin are going to meet face to face... in a TABLES MATCH!"
Sky kept on screaming no, and Elgin's smile told the crowd that he was greatly looking forward to the match. Two weeks from now, Elgin was finally going to get his nemesis right where he wanted him.
SHIMMER TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Pink Ladies (Madison Eagles & Jessie McKay - Champions) vs. Nora Greenwald & Tina Moretti (Challengers) - The champions were caught off guard by the challengers, who took the fight to them right from the get go. It took every dirty trick in the book for the Pink Ladies to get their advantage back in the match. It looked as if the match was over when Jessie went for a DEATH JUMP, when Nora leaped up into the turnbuckle, and delivered a devastating superplex which knocked Jessie out. Nora quickly seized the opportunity, and as Tina blocked Madison, Nora got the pinfall victory. WINNERS BY PINFALL... AND NEW SHIMMER TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS... NORA GREENWALD & TINA MORETTI
Kevin Steen & Roderick Strong (w/Truth Martini) vs. Eddie Kingston & Ultramantis Black - The main event saw The House of Truth and their leader, Truth Martini, come to the ring, announcing that he has recently been contacted by a wrestler who has seen the light, and wants to walk in the way of Truth. He was about to announce their name when Kingston and Black hit the ring. A classic CHIKARA vs. ROH match up, both teams styles came into play. Kingston and Strong had some great in ring chemistry together, as the agility vs. power match of Black and Steen captivated the audience. The match was a five star classic, and brought the fans to their feet. But as all four men started fighting out of the ring, someone from the crowd jumped on top of Black. As security pulled the man away, it was Tim Donst who jumped in, and Black found himself wearing a padlocked dog collar with DONST written across it. "You're mine now, Ultramantis... You're mine!" screamed Donst as he was escorted out of the building. The referee, who was busy trying to break up Strong and Kingston, did not see the melee and the match continued. As Black struggled to get the locked dog collar off, Steen took advantage with a devastating kidney shot. Catching him with the devastating PACKAGE PILEDRIVER, the match was brought to a definitive finish. WINNERS BY PINFALL - RODERICK STRONG AND KEVIN STEEN.
On the jumbo screen showing backstage footage, security was escorting a rambling Donst past Michael Elgin and 2 Cold Scorpio, who were talking to someone on their smart phone. They explained to the person that they got Director of Operations Al Snow to give them a six man tag team match against Adam Pearce, Scorpio Sky, and Joey Ryan, if they could find a tag team partner. As the men asked if he would be willing to be their partner, the camera angle showed both the phone, and the face on the color display. In both picture and voice, the fans cheered as the NWA World Heavyweight Champion Rhino told them to count him in this Saturday night in St. Louis...
TOP 10 WRESTLING NWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: Rhino, 270 lbs., Detroit, MI 1) Adam Pearce, 240 lbs., San Diego, CA 2) Mike Bennett, 225 lbs., Boston, MA 3) Kevin Steen, 255 lbs., Marieville, Quebec, Canada 4) Davey Richards, 208 lbs., Othello, WA 5) Eddie Kingston, 228 lbs., Yonkers, NY 6) Chuck Taylor, 200 lbs., Murray, KY 7) Mike Quackenbush, 191 lbs., West Lawn, PA 8) Willie Mack, 270 lbs., St. Louis, MO 9) Brodie Lee, 265 lbs., Lincoln, NE 10) Rhett Titus, 203 lbs., Long Beach Island, NJ

Live event from The Hale Arena, St. Louis, MO...
No dark match this week. This was not only signifying how important this card was, but also threw the locker room off balance. The dark matches were a great indicator of who was given a second chance to save their jobs. With no dark match, could the fates be sealed of those worrying about their jobs?
THE COLONY (FIRE ANT & SOLDIER ANT) VS. DOUBLE DRAGON (JOHNNY GARGANO & KYLE O'REILLY) Great opening match featuring hometown favorite O'Reilly. Fairly one sided, as The Colony obviously scouted their opponents before hand. The match was won when Soldier Ant hit O'Reilly with a TKO for the win. WINNERS BY PINFALL - THE COLONY
ULTRAMANTIS BLACK VS. TIM DONST - DOG COLLAR MATCH This match came about from the events of the last card when Donst locked a collar on Black. He made an offer to give him the key to remove it, if he would face him in an old school Dog Collar Match. This event went out of the ring quickly, and both men fought through the crowd. A more hardcore match than what Top 10 normally offered, but the crowd got into it quick. Donst took full advantage of the chain, and caught Black in at least three pin attempts that were very close. The advantage switched when Black was able to utilize his agility and high flying offense. The match was won when Black flew off the top rope with the chain wrapped around his fist for the knockout. WINNER BY PINFALL - ULTRAMANTIS BLACK.
After the match, Director of Operations Al Snow informed Ultramantis Black that due to his ability to overcome the odds, he is going to be rewarded with entry into the ROH Championship tournament. From humiliation to redemption!
MERCEDES MARTINEZ VS. CHEERLEADER MELISSA Last week, Melissa and Mercedes issued their challenges, and here was where they were going to even it up. Martinez controlled the majority of the match, looking strong going into her title shot against Saraya Knight. But after being on a losing exchange after missing Melissa in a turnbuckle charge, Melissa caught her with THE AIR RAID CRASH for an upset win. WINNER BY PINFALL - CHEERLEADER MELISSA
DELIRIOUS VS. WILLIE MACK Not a great match, but a great reception for Willie Mack. Coming into Top 10 with little fanfare or push, Mack has since been winning his matches in decisive fashion, and is being touted by many wrestling insiders as a fore runner to win the ROH Championship at Contest of Champions. It didn't take him long to catch Delirious with THE CHOCOLATE THUNDER BOMB for "Milk Chocolate" to get the win in his hometown. WINNER BY PINFALL - WILLIE MACK
SHIMMER CHAMPION SARAYA KNIGHT VS. JAZZ (NON TITLE MATCH) At the request of Director of Operations Al Snow, Saraya Knight fought Jazz in a non-title match. If Jazz wins, the SHIMMER Championship match would include her in a three way dance for the belt. Jazz had a power advantage early. Saraya used her in ring ability to bring some punishing counter offense. Great back and forth match up, and had most reversals of the evening. In the end, Jazz caught Saraya with an STF, causing the champion to tap out. Could this be a prelude to what fans could see happen at Contest of Champions? WINNER BY SUBMISSION - JAZZ
INTERMISSION - It was a nice day outside, so let's all go outside for some delicious Kansas City barbeque. Sponsored by Top 10 Wrestling, a BBQ Rib Festival took place earlier in the day. The best ribs were placed in the bellies of some grateful fans. Pass the corn bread!
BILL APTER INTERVIEWS... DAVEY RICHARDS Davey Richards was warmly received by the crowd, and it was a great interview where Apter was able to show the passion of this intense fighter. They went down the list of competitors he would face in the match, and he gave very honest scouting of his opponents. But when it came to the end, he went off on "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett. He said that he isn't much of a man without Maria Kanellis and Brutal Bob running interference. It didn't take long for Bennett, Maria Kanellis, and Brutal Bob to come out and for the trash talking to hit and intensify. Sensing the situation, Director of Operations Al Snow came out and told both men that next week in Florida, he wanted the two of them to accept his challenge. A one on one match, where if you lose the match, you would enter as #1. Richards immediately agreed, and while his body language said otherwise, Bennett said he wanted that too. As the men walked off, Bennett had a look that said that he only said it to not lose face.
CAMPEONAROS DE PAREJAS TITLE MATCH: WRESTLING'S GREATEST TAG TEAM (CHARLIE HAAS & SHELTON BENJAMIN - CHAMPIONS) VS. JAY LETHAL & HOMICIDE (CHALLENGERS) Even though they initially came into the tag division as a replacement team when The Young Bucks and Johnny Yuma were injured, Lethal and Homicide found their stride and rode it all the way to a title shot against Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team. Lots of great spots. Shelton Benjamin and Jay Lethal fighting on the top turnbuckle and falling outside of the ring. Charlie Haas clamping down on Homicide in a dizzying array of submission holds. Tags were fast and furious. And around the 14 minute mark, Lethal caught Haas with THE LETHAL INJECTION for a sudden and dramatic pinfall victory. The crowd lost their mind as new champions were crowned before their eyes. WINNERS BY PINFALL... AND NEW CAMPEONAROS DE PAREJAS... JAY LETHAL & HOMICIDE
After the match, the duo was approached by Amber Gertner, who told the winner that next week, they would get to choose their opponents at Contest of Champions. Both men looked at each other, smiled, and walked away. What are the new champions planning to do?
MSEERIE (MSCHEF & CHRISTINA VON EERIE) VS. THE CANADIAN NINJAS (PORTIA PEREZ & NICOLE MATTHEWS) This match was put together to determine the opponents for the SHIMMER Tag Team Champions, Tina Moretti & Nora Greenwald. Five star match, with all four women getting their finishers executed on their opponents. Flat finish, though, as Mschef caught Nicole coming off the ropes for a roll up victory. Not the most exciting finish of the night, but the new contenders are in place. WINNERS BY PINFALL: MSEERIE
SIX MAN TAG MATCH: NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION RHINO & MICHAEL ELGIN & 2 COLD SCORPIO VS. #1 CONTENDER ADAM PEARCE & SCORPIO SKY & JOEY RYAN A lot of bad blood boiling over was the best way to describe this match. Lots of high spots. Elgin throwing Sky to the ground and mounting MMA style mounted punches. Ryan bouncing off of Rhino. Dueling Scorpios flying off the turnbuckles at each other. The majority of the action saw 2 Cold Scorpio outwrestling Pearce, who was clearly frustrated by the fellow veteran. At one point, Elgin caught Pearce with THE SPINNING SIT DOWN PILEDRIVER, but was saved at the last minute by the interference of Ryan. A melee ensued, and in the end, Scorpio Sky caught 2 Cold Scorpio with ARGLE BARGLE as the other participants brawled outside of the ring. WINNERS BY PINFALL: JOEY RYAN, ADAM PEARCE, AND SCORPIO SKY
Could this victory be a foreshadowing of what could happen to both the champion and the fan favorites? Will The Scorpio Sky Experience run wild in Kentucky? Will we see a new NWA World Heavyweight Champion?
IN TWO WEEKS... CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS, LIVE ON PPV FROM THE BROADBENT ARENA IN LOUISVILLE, KY
NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP (2 OUT OF 3 FALLS) - RHINO (CHAMPION) VS. ADAM PEARCE (CHALLENGER)
8 MAN GAUNTLET MATCH TO CROWN THE NEW ROH CHAMPION - EDDIE KINGSTON VS. CHUCK TAYLOR VS. MIKE BENNETT VS. RHETT TITUS VS. WILLIE MACK VS. DAVEY RICHARDS VS. ULTRAMANTIS BLACK VS. TBD

Live event from Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, FL
DARK MATCH: EDDIE KINGSTON VS. TIM DONST This match came about from Tim Donst coming out to the ring and demanding that someone fight him that night. Eddie Kingston was set to be interviewed later that evening, but he was game for a fight tonight. It was starting to be a good match up, when a dropkick from Kingston to the knee of Donst caused him to land awkwardly. Clutching his knee, Donst screamed in pain. After being attended to by the referee and a pair of medics, Donst was carried out on a stretcher as Kingston was attended to by Director of Operations Al Snow. WINNER BY DECISION - EDDIE KINGSTON
After Donst was helped to the back, Al Snow grabbed the microphone...
"Eddie, I hate to do this, but one of my jobs is to look out for the welfare for the wrestlers in the company. And due to your actions, Tim Donst got hurt badly."
The crowd started booing as Eddie started to protest. Al Snow had a pained look on his face.
"Eddie, I got to pull you out of the Ring of Honor Gauntlet. I'm sorry, but you injured one of the boys. I'm sorry."
Kingston looked like he was going to launch off against Snow either verbally or physically. Instead, he composed himself turned around and walked out of the ring. As he walked down the ring, Snow kept saying "I'm sorry! Eddie! I'm sorry!"
ROH CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER MATCH: ARIK ROYAL VS. THE HOBO
The battle for the last spot in the Ring of Honor Championship Gauntlet came down to a fan favorite and a returning monster. The Hobo unleashed an early flurry of offense in hopes of catching the young monster unaware. It only took a couple of well placed offensive strikes for Royal to slow down Hobo, eventually wearing him down to the pinfall victory. WINNER BY PINFALL - ARIK ROYAL
CHEERLEADER MELISSA VS. JAZZ
Melissa took out Mercedes Martinez last week. She was looking to do the same with another challenger for the SHIMMER Championship, Jazz. No small feat, as Jazz completely controlled the match from the inside, using a series of power and submission holds to maintain the advantage. The match only kept from being a squash from Melissa's ability to use out of the ring shenanigans and dirty tactics to escape the onslaught. In time, Jazz wore Melissa down to where she could barely stand. But as Jazz attempted to finish the match with a DEATHJUMP, Melissa was able to use up all of her energy to catch Jazz in mid air with an AIR RAID CRASH for the upset victory. WINNER BY PINFALL - CHEERLEADER MELISSA
After the match, Al Snow re-appeared to tell Melissa that because of her victories over the top challengers over the past two weeks, the SHIMMER Championship match at Contest of Champions was now a Fatal Four Way Match, with SHIMMER Champion Saraya Knight defending her title against Mercedes Martinez, Jazz, and Cheerleader Melissa.
MICHAEL ELGIN VS. KEVIN STEEN w/TRUTH MARTINI Bad blood in this match. These two men were tearing up the ring like nobody's business. It was a great back and forth match until Elgin dropped Steen and started clutching at his lower back. Sensing blood, Steen launched an all out assault on his back, forcing the Unbreakable to his knees. Catching with a F-CINQ, the ending of the match was academic at this point. WINNER BY PINFALL - KEVIN STEEN
After the match, Elgin was repeatedly brutalized by Steen until he was bleeding. Security forces led by Fit Finlay rushed the ring before any further damage was done. From the ring entrance, Al Snow tore into Steen.
"I might have been sorry before, but not now. Steen, you're suspended 30 days without pay! You and Martini, get out of the ring, and out of my sight!"
WILLIE MACK VS. ARCHIBALD PECK
Match of the night! Willie Mack is earning a spot and reputation as a top talent in the company. Archibald Peck is one of the most hated heels. No one came in expecting a five star match from these two so early in the match, but the crowd certainly got one. Lots of action in and out of the ring, and many near falls. It took nearly 13 minutes for Mack to catch Peck coming off the ropes with a powerslam and the victory. WINNER BY PINFALL - WILLIE MACK
Backstage, a livid Steen was storming towards his car with Martini and Roderick Strong in tow, pleading for him not to leave. He ignored them both and drove off. As Martini and Strong tried to gain their composure (and failing miserably), a voice came up from off camera and said "Don't worry. He'll be back. And until then, The House of Truth will remain strong." Martini and Strong both smiled and said "You accepted our offer?" The camera panned back to show a smiling Arik Royal. All three man joined hands in the center of the group, laughing knowingly. The House of Truth had a new member... and what will happen when Steen returns to the fold?
SCORPIO SKY & ADAM PEARCE VS. ULTRAMANTIS BLACK & EDDIE EDWARDS The chemistry between Sky and Pearce is pretty strong, as Pearce's confidence and Sky's cockiness play off the other very well. Sky riffed about how "sad" he was knowing "Unthinkable" wouldn't be able to meet him in a Tables Match at Contest of Champions. Pearce played off of that, telling him that he would have a front row seat for his friend to see him defeat Rhino for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. The duo were interrupted by Black and Edwards, who said they heard enough, and wanted to fight. Pretty solid tag match for something that seemed thrown together at the last minute (I'll admit, it was!) It showed off all four men at their best, and ended when Black caught Sky with a PRAYING MANTIS BOMB for the victory. WINNERS BY PINFALL - EDDIE EDWARDS & ULTRAMANTIS BLACK
As Sky and Pearce groused in the ring, the sound of a semi roaring brought the crowd to it's feet. Coming to the ramp entrance was "Big Rig" Brodie Lee, who had a microphone in hand and a smile on his face...
"Hey Sky! I'm sorry to see you all sad and blue. So I talked to a good friend of mine, Mike, and he gladly gave me his spot at Contest of Champions! Don't worry about being alone for the Table Match. I'll be seeing you next week in Louisville... Cupcake!"
The fans cheer as Sky loses it in the ring! Great time to fade to...
INTERMISSION
BILL APTER INTERVIEWS... S.C.U.M.
In between Jimmy Jacobs non sequitur ramblings as he played with a long railroad spike, Steve Corino told Bill Apter how the two of them were selected by the Campeonatos de Parejas Homicide & Jay Lethal to face them in a Fight Without Honor for the titles. "Jay Lethal, you and I are two of the best wrestlers in the company. Not too sure about your partner, who smuggled cutlery in the ring in the past. Well, next week, he can bring a full three piece dinner set with him. His fork can go one on one with my best friend's spike. I wonder who's going to win that match?" Turning the mic to Jacobs, he looked to the camera and said "I see the dice are rolling, in shades of red and blue..."
Odd rambling nonsense, indeed.
NORA GREENWALD (w/TINA MORETTI) VS. MSCHEF (w/CHRISTINA VON EERIE)
The two women met in a singles match with their partners in their corners. Next week, they would meet for the SHIMMER Tag Team Titles. This week, they had a chance to not only get some scouting in, but to also get a chance to earn some momentum going into the match. From the get go, Nora took control of the match, throwing MsChef around the ring, both in and out. She was worn down and staggering when Nora ran against the ropes and came back into MsChef, who was playing possum, and catching her with a brutal choke slam for the win. The champions were shocked, the challengers were smiling. Could two of the oddest fan favorites in the company soon be two of their newest champions? WINNER BY PINFALL - MSCHEF
WRESTLING'S GREATEST TAG TEAM (CHARLIE HAAS & SHELTON BENJAMIN) VS. THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (MARK & JAY)
Two of the greatest tag teams in the world today took to the ring, and the fans lit right up. It was one of the better tag matches seen on the East Coast in quite some time. The brothers double teamed Benjamin to the point of busting him open. Haas came in like a house of fire to the rescue of his partner, and at one point, he was punching out anything that moved in the ring. Great back and forth, with the falls on both sides being very, very close. In the end, Mark Briscoe was able to catch Charlie Haas with THE CUT THROAT DRILLER for a well earned win. WINNERS BY PINFALL - THE BRISCOE BROTHERS
#1 PENALTY MATCH: MIKE BENNETT (w/MARIA KANELLIS & BRUTAL BOB) VS. DAVEY RICHARDS
Last week, both men wanted a match where the winner would get the number 8 spot, and the loser would get the number 1 spot. Both men are heavy favorites in the Ring of Honor Championship tournament. Director of Operations Al Snow did not feel that a number 8 spot should be determined between only two of the participant. But if they wanted to meet in a contest where the loser would have to enter The Gauntlet match at number 1, go for it. Bennett was on fire from the get go, getting three very close pinfalls in a row. As the frustration took over The Prodigy, the American Wolf saw an opening, and began to build up an offense using strikes and submission holds. Towards the end of the match, Maria attempted to interfere in the match, only she accidentally caught Bennett's leg instead of Richards. The momentary distraction was all it took for Richards to synch in THE ANKLE LOCK. After nearly a minute and a half of agony, Bennett had no choice but to tap out in the center of the ring. Mike Bennett is now going to have to defeat seven men to win his first title in Top 10, and the look on his face after the match showed that. WINNER BY SUBMISSION - DAVEY RICHARDS

BREAKING NEWS: There are rumors abounding over an email leaked to local dirt sheets. While the addresses were blurred out, the email was made clear.
Al, after giving this some time to review, these are 10 people we need to meet with this Saturday before the PPV:
2 Cold Scorpio Athena Claudio Castagnoli Delirious Ethan Page Jigsaw Juan Francisco de Coronado Kelly Skater Nick Madrid Robert Anthony
Some of them need to be let go, some of them can be repackaged, and some of them I feel deserve a chance for redemption. I know that neither one of us wants to keep someone from a paycheck in wrestling, but the reality is simple. We only have so much money to go around, especially with the licensing fees we are being charged for titles and booking (NWA, in particular, is a major expense). And with the two wrestlers we talked to over the weekend, some of the roster money can bring in both of these men to Top 10 Wrestling. We have a great thing going now, with lots of positive momentum. But a chance to add two former world champions with minimal baggage and costs is an option we have to pursue, and pursue quickly.
As I see it now, we agree on which three must go from this list. They simply cannot be kept on payroll when there are other wrestlers who are doing much better work. They are dead weight, as far as I'm concerned. Two of them I think could make a great tag team, and with King of Trios coming up, it could be a boon for them both! Two of them I am totally on the fence on. We'll see how the interview process goes. I'm also going to bring in Jim Cornette to help mediate. The final decision is yours, but I want his input on this. He watches the shows and has his ears hearing from all the crews. His counsel is something we should take in consideration.
For the final three of them, I really like your idea of putting them in the opening match of the PPV in a Triple Threat Match. With Eddie Kingston's suspension, we need an eighth man for the ROH Championship Gauntlet match. Putting this group in a match where a winner not only keeps their job, but they get to enter the tournament is short notice, I know, but we are running out of good options here. And if we are going to fill this spot, I want it to be with someone who is with the company. Bringing in an outsider, while attractive, is counter-productive to motivating the locker room to perform at a high level. I am glad that you recognized this right off the bat and made the suggestion.
Before I close this email, I want to again tell you that you did the right thing with the Eddie Kingston suspension. While Kevin Steen clearly deserved to be suspended, Eddie was a harder call to make. But in watching the replay, that was a blow to the knee that could have been avoided. I don't like to see wrestlers taking liberties with the other. I may complain about some of the expenses, but you and I agree that we give something to our injured crew. The fines and suspensions help pay towards that, but I know how this can wear down management over time. Know that you are the best man for the job, and I am proud of the great work you are doing for the company.
Give me a call on Friday to discuss travel arrangements to Kentucky. - J.
Top 10 Wrestling, James Steinhoff, and Al Snow have all declined comment on the situation. But NWA President R. Bruce Tharpe issued the following response:
"If this is indeed accurate, I don't like the reference to us being a "major expense". You get what you pay for, Mr. Steinhoff. Please try and remember that."
To be continued...
