Got my Chikarmy set last week and with Chikara's first foray into my area I thought I would try to see how the evening's card might play out using the Filsinger cards. so without further ado....
Opening Match: Gran Akuma Vs Sugar Dunkerton
Gran Akuma started strong but in the end it was Dunkerton with the Air Dunkerton taking the win
Wrestle con Revenge: Amasis Vs Kobald
Amasis started the match and never up. quickly over as Amasis hit with the Egyptian Conniption Gaining some payback for the assault he suffered at Wrestle con.
Tag Team Action: Fire Ant/AssailAnt Vs Jigsaw/The Shard
Fire Ant started for the Colony but Jigsaw got in the first move.
Lots of back and forth and swaps but a pin save attempt by Fire Ant could not help AssailAnt from a third Jig N Tonic.
Inter-gender Match: Saturnyne Vs Timi Donst
Saturnyne started the match and at one point almost pinned Donst. Unfortunately she was not prepared for Donst's sudden reversal that three moves later led to a pin from an SDT.
The next planned event unfortunately was canceled as the Colony Extreme Force no showed (hopefully we will have cards for them sometime this year)
Tag Team Title Bout Best of 3 falls;
3.0 (Scott Parker/Shane Matthews) Vs the Batiri (Obariyan/Kodama)
The Batiri took the lead early and quickly scored the first fall with Kodama Pining Scott Parker. As the second round started it seemed to be going 3.0's way until somehow the match slowed down and suddenly a Dance off started, the Batiri seemed confused and 3.0 easily showed their skills and took over the match but the Batiri knew what to do once destruction in the ring was needed and got the second fall when Obariyan pinned Scott Parker with a flying DDT.
The Main Event Championship Match;
Mark Angelosetti Vs the winner of the previous night's match.
I ran the match and Green Ant (Wrestle con 2013 set Edition) was Champion.
To open the match I checked on the Gavin Loudspeaker card and Eddie Kingston came out before things could start he demanded a match with the winner to regain his championship.
The match started all in Angelosetti's favor with 4 near pin-falls before Green Ant seemed to be getting the upper hand. In a rage Angelosetti threw Green Ant out of the ring and slid out to attack him. Angelosetti was disqualified in the ensuing brawl and it looks like Eddie Kingston will get to face Green Ant to get his title back.
I hope to run another card soon and it will be interesting to see if any of this is how it plays out next week here in Georgia.
