Which 6 Chikara guys who already have cards released would you like to see updated. I just thought since Green Ant got a much needed update, that this could be in the realm of possibility.
My choices:
Archibald Peck: His original card came out before Archie had a lot of time in Chikara. He has since grown to be a very popular act, a really good wrestler, and has broken away from Veronica.
Kobald: Another guy who has come a long way since his card was released. Finisher is different, look is modified, a bit higher on the totem pole than he used to be.
Jakob Hammermeier: Has turned into a much better wrestler than his card implies. Has done away with the tie choke, and has adopted a much more aggressive style. Look is completely different as well
AssailANT: Original card is based in Swarm Trios action for the most part. Since then the Big Blue Ant has turned into a technico, showed a hard hitting technical style that the original card doesn't represent, and adopted finishers and mannerisms that are not represented.
Those are the four that I feel are absolutely necessary. For the other two slots I can see arguments for Eddie Kingston, The Shard, Ophidian, Amasis, DeviANT, or Sugar Dunkerton.
So, what do you guys think??

I'd go with Peck, AssailAnt, Amasis, Kobald, Kingston & Sugar Dunkerton. What am waiting on is the Johnny Gargano DGUSA card as well as DGUSA set

Peck for sure. He's a lot better now. Donst. Mainly art. Ophidian to represent his evil turn. And Gargano. He should better.

I would like to see a new Chikara reboot. I've almost bought the starter set a couple times now, but then realize that half of the guys like Tursas, Claudio, Aries, Sara, Daizee and more are no longer there. If they did one now with the current roster or 24 cards of it, I'd probably buy it.
To keep on the topic, I'm thinking Eddie, Peck, Donst, Kobald, Gargano and Fire/Soldier Ant.

Gargano should be a much, much stronger card than he is. Agree completely, here.
AssailANT, yes.
Archibald Peck--I would really like to see a retro "Mixed Martial Archie" card so I can have a "Three Faces of Peck" thing going on. But an overall update would be nice, too.
Ophidian, because my understanding is that he has changed significantly. If he was updated, Amasis probably should be, too.
Veronica needs a stand-alone card to reflect her role as the doorknob of managers/valets.
So there's my six. I don't think Kingston or Donst really need one (although new Donst art would make sense--maybe another LE?) I would not object to updates for Hammermeier or Kobald,as they are useless in the ring (for me, anyway), to the point where I recently turfed them out of Chikara.

I agree with the majority that Peck, Assailant and Gargano are thee ones most in need of an update. However, with Gargano being removed from the roster page today, and the possibility of Archibald Peck being backfisted to the future in Chicago in 2 weeks and being erased from existence, that may only leave Assailant.

I'm not sure if they way the sets are printed make sense to do this, but it would be really sweet if every so often (maybe once every 3-5 years), they re-assembled the sets. Make all the 'current' Chikara guys a 'Chikara starter Special' set (maybe even with an updated handbook), and put guys like Claudio, Sara Del Rey, etc in a 'Retro Classic' pack.
That'd make alot more sense that making people who want the current roster buy a whole bunch of cards they don't want.

A very Magic:The Gathering strategy but it totally makes sense. A year or two down the road a new Chikara fan may not recognize many of the people in the starter set. Kinda like Avarice stated above.

Only major issue would have to be continually redoing the handbooks. Some minor issues probably as well.
