As I'm sure you all know, Werner is the man. He was always good, but he has matured into an AMAZING artist. Because I'm a color card snob, there were certain wrestlers I wanted to use, but their black and whiteness put me off. So Werner was nice enough to accept a commission to create some new art for me. In the interest of giving y'all some eye candy--and hopefully guilting you into coming to my website, since I am replacing the posting I used to do here--I thought I would share it with you. First up: The recently-retired Jerry Lynn!

That artwork is awesome. Thanks for sharing! I love the B&W Jerry Lynn artwork but it would be cool to use this if I am using his card against color cards. I'm weird like that. To prove just how weird I really am... I flew out on a business trip this morning and had a dream last night that when I got on the plane I was on the same flight with Jerry Lynn. In my dream he was completely retired (not sure if he is in real life yet or not) but we talked about how awesome his career was and how he accomplished just about everything a pro wrestler could ask for. blah, blah, blah. Then I woke up and got on my real flight this morning and he wasn't on it. It wasn't too far fetched of a dream though. He's from MN. I live in MN. I had also randomly met him one time when I was working at Toys R Us in high school. He and his wife came in looking for a game for their daughter and I'm pretty sure I was the only one in the whole store that recognized him. This was before he ever made it to WWE and ECW wasn't ever all that big in MN. But he was wearing an ECW jacket. That's my stories. Thanks for reading.

Sorry folks--medical issue kept me on my back and away from the computer. I would love to accept even a smidgeon of the credit here, but it's all Werner. Another original piece he did for me:

I literally think the modern Flair pic he did for me is in the top five pieces of art I've ever seen from Werner. And then there's this one...

This wasn't the pic I planned to post next, but I just got it this morning and had to share it. Had to.
