The Kids Call Him “Mr. Touchdown”!
Mr. Touchdown burst onto the Chikara scene at the start of 2012. The step cousin-in-law of Dasher Hatfield became a part of the Throwbacks during a leave of absence by Sugar Dunkerton. Despite his tecnico affiliation, he has a tendency to cheat in his matches, usually behind the back of the upstanding Dasher Hatfield. Soon after his arrival, he caught the eye of Veronica, the valet of Archibald Peck. The two took part in a bitter feud, which resulted in Angelosetti win a loser leaves town match, forcing Peck to leave Chikara forever. Mr. Touchdown then followed that up by winning the Young Lion’s Cup X, further cementing his legendary rookie season.

THE MYSTERIOUS AND HANDSOME STRANGER
With His Feral Pigeon Sapphire!
Soon after the departure of Archibald Peck, a masked stranger made his way into Chikara. This masked man in a cowboy hat was out to deliver justice to evil doers, along with his trusty sidekick, his feral pigeon Sapphire. Things were going well for the Mysterious and Handsome Stranger, who built up an impressive win streak, before fate happened and he had the inevitable encounter with Mr. Touchdown. The Stranger eventually unmasked himself to be Archibald Peck, after getting revenger on both Mr. Touchdown and Veronica.
SPINNING TOEHOLD – the leg of the face down opponent is grabbed and twisted to put the ankle and knee under pressure.
FLYING LEG DROP – a jumping leg drop from the top rope.
GRAN AKUMA
Mysterious, Mythological Warrior from Afar!
Gran Akuma has been part of Chikara since graduating as part of the second class from the Chikara Wrestle Factory. He originally competed under a mask before losing in a Mascara contra Mascara match to Shane Storm. Although he won many accolades as a singles competitor, including winning the 2005 Torneo Cibernetico, his biggest accomplishments were alongside FIST. Along with Icarus, he was part of the longest reigning Campeonatos de Parejas tandem in Chikara history. He also formed a King of Trios award winning trio with Icarus and Chuck Taylor, but was eventually dropped from the team in favor of Johnny Gargano. After a long fight back, he is once again a member of the Chikara roster and forms and occasional trio with 3.0 as Booyahkuma.

Mister ZERO
Chikara’s Middle Aged Office Worker!
The Generation 1 Chikara Original has been retired for years, but is still one of the most popular characters in Chikara history. Mister ZERO was a fan favorite for the early years of the promotion and was even in the first ever Chikara match. ZERO is most known for some of his cubicle inspired antics, like stopping the match for a coffee break, or reading the newspaper while having his opponent in a camel clutch. However, he was also an accomplished competitor, even making it to the finals of the 1st Young Lions Cup tournament, ultimately losing to Hallowicked. He saw some later success as a tag wrestler, teaming with UltraMantis in UltraZERO and Shane Storm in Men at Work. His career came to an early end at the hands of FIST, but he still lives on in the hearts of the Chikarmy today.

It’s a Huge Dragon!
Few Chikara competitors can get the Chikarmy quite as excite as the gigantic green menace known as Dragon Dragon. His appearances in Chikara have been few but memorable. Just how often do you see a dragon suplex performed by a huge stuffed dragon? While his size is big, his win total has been quite the opposite. But despite his record, Dragon Dragon will always have the crowd on the edge of their seats…especially when it looks like he might lose his head again.

BRYCE REMSBURG
Chikara’s Senior Official!
Bryce Remsburg is a Chikara Original and one of the most beloved members of the Chikara family. He is not only an official, but also a regular match commentator and event center host. While Bryce is respected by the fans and wrestlers alike, and keeps order in the ring, it’s not uncommon for unusual events to occur when he is refereeing a Chikara match. Some of the wacky in ring occurrences that Chikara is known for, like dance contests and slow motion, are most likely to happen around or even involve the Senior Official.
