I like that he also has the GWF Original card art up on his wall (Mutant and Dreadnaught I believe). The ball looks like something from Cygnus as well.

I'm intrigued by that "clock," and I wonder if that's the mystery. When I see runes, I start thinking "mysterious goings on."
Maybe it's counting down to something? Or measuring something? It only has the one rune lit up....does he want them to grow dark, or light up?

Like all of you, I immediately thought of Hector. However, if you look closely at the stuffed animal it has a long tail. I don't know any species of bear with that long a tail. So I went to the part about a partner betraying him, and find myself curious about a new gimmick for Gryt....possibly?

maybe it's Panther Warrior although since Tricks has been feuding with the AniMen for a while, that's not the most exciting...but why feud with the Legends as both are villain groups. Many questions, few answers right now.
