This may sound like a dumb question, but is a wrestler's Cage Rating supposed to represent his ability in only Cage matches, or in all types of Hardcore style matches? I know in the Ringside Companion, Cage Rating is also used in Chain Matches, so I'm a bit unsure whether or not it would be accurate to use these ratings in matches such as Texas Death or Ladder.
Do you guys use Cage Ratings for all matches where there is No DQ, or only when specified by the appropriate Special Rules Match description?

I use the Cage Rating for any match outcome where pinning the opponent is not the way to win. So cage matches, chain matches, and the like, but also battle royals. I also use it instead of PIN for submission situations.
