Great sets guys, are you planning to work on 1980 down the road? That was the year Larry Zbyszko turned on Bruno and they had the big cage match at Shea Stadium. You might have to put a couple of gimmick matches from that year in the set. Also, they had the first matches of Andre The Giant vs Hulk Hogan.

Have started work on 1980, but just haven't had any available time to finish it up.
It was another big year with Pedro Morales returning plus appearances by the Moondogs, Slaughter, Killer Khan and Stan Hansen among others.
During my research I was surprised to find that, after the February 2nd turn, Bruno and Zbyszko only met about 20 times during the year in singles matches. Would have expected more, but Bruno was working a very light schedule by that time.
Thanks for your interest!

Hope schedule opens up at some point Tim. Moondogs would be great even if King got robbed by certain people in the business. Gave Spot a career gimmick though.

1980, I can’t wait until you do 1981. August was the first time I started watching wrestling (I was 10 at the time) when I was living in Riverdale, MD. Near the 495 Baltimore-Washington parkway. 10 or 15 miles from the Capital Centre in Landover, MD. WWF has two shows on every Saturday. WDCA-20 from Washington, DC, they showed All-Star Wrestling at 11am. WBFF-45 from Baltimore, MD, they showed Championship Wrestling at 4pm. Both shows Vince McMahon and Pat Patterson were calling the action. August 8th was when I started watching wrestling. 1 week later, August 15, 1981, Bruno Sammartino announced his retirement from the ring, wrestling his last match at the end of September at the debut card at the Meadowlands Arena in East Rutherford, NJ against George “The Animal” Steele.

I haven't been active on the boards recently and I just found out about these amazing sets. I'm about to begin a '77 playthrough, but I had a question I'm hoping someone can help me with. In the handbook, TDalton mentions house rules for "blood stoppages" as they were common in title/grudge matches at the time. Can anyone inform me of any variation on this that works well? The only version I know is from the official rulebook where you say that someone is busted open after 4 fatigue tokens.

The only version I know is from the official rulebook where you say that someone is busted open after 4 fatigue tokens. Codeman, in my Legends fed, I say that five tokens lead to blood. If one wrestler's PIN rating hits "12" in a regular match, if his opponent is not bleeding, and if the match hasn't ended, I stop it due to blood. I know other promoters have similar rules that you can find in other discussions on this board. Hope that helps!

Since I found some 70s WWWF I actually was looking through Tim's set again. 5 tokens especially with add 1s makes sense.

WWF 1980!Is still not ready.
However, prepare yourself for updated color cards for two of the Federation's greatest champions - BRUNO SAMMARTINO and SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM !
Finally, cards in full color with artwork and stats for these two legendary names. Bruno won't be the slightly past-prime version from my 1977 bootleg set, but the dominant "Italian Superman" in all his glory based upon the 60s and early 70s! Graham will also be slightly different, based upon additional research and video availability. And the Superstar isn't alone - he's bringing along the manager of champions, the Grand Wizard of Wrestling!
They're the cards of the hour! The cards with the power! Cards too sweet to be sour!
As I'm sure Bruno would exclaim, "Doggone it, what a way to begin 2021!"
Watch for further details coming soon!
