GWF #88 @ Triton Pavilion, Neptune

**As the show starts up, the entire Martial Law team are standing in the ring: Sly Drury, GWF Champ Shayne, GWF Tag Champs Mean Streets, GWF Interplanetary Champ Iron Hand, Code Destroyer, and Fhanna....Drury starts off by bragging about how his team dominated GalactiCard VI, defending and successfully retaining each title. “This is the era of dominance, the era of Martial Law…” As he is bragging, Monolith’s music sounds, and all the members of Martial Law brace and ready themselves for a fight...after a few moments, Monolith steps out from the back. Monolith says that he is challenging Shayne for the GWF Belt. As Drury is getting ready to answer, Shayne speaks up, “Name the place, name the time, name the ass-whooping you are gonna get!!” Drury calms Shayne down, and turns back to Monolith. “In answer to this challenge...you gotta do more than what you have done. I mean, sure, you did defeat me. But I was not in any contention for any title to begin with. So my answer to you is: You need more than what you have done.” Monolith says he will strike down any challenge Drury puts before him, including any of his goons in that ring...Drury answers, saying: “You got it. How about we do a little gauntlet. On GWF #89, you will face in singles matches, each member of Martial Law...then, you can challenge the GWF Champion, Shayne...if you make it through the gauntlet.”

**During the brief match, the mysterious scientist woman came out to the ring, again, seemingly to take notes. After the match, she stepped into the ring and approached Disciple of Terror. Terror braced, ready for a fight, but the woman held her hands up, as if to say she had no ill intent. She then whispered something to Disciple of Terror, and after a few moments of Terror thinking about what he had just heard, the two of them walked out of the ring and to the back together…

**After the match, Overmaster continued attacking Witness, until the Titans made the save….

*Elina puts away Moonlight after a cannonball off the turnbuckle

**As Eydilon steps out of the DOOM Locker Room, NItro is waiting to ask a few questions. He asks about tonight’s match vs. Monolith in just a few moments...Eydilon says that he has no quarrel with Monolith. But since he must step into the ring against the brute, then the brute will fall to the mystical power of Eydilon. Then Eydilon looks into the camera, speaking to Sur & Bex: “But my hostility is directed to the two of you...and it will be soon when you feel the wrath of the Harbingers of Doom…”

*Eydilon defeats Monolith via MISTS OF EYDILON (after Martial Law attacked Monolith outside the ring)

**The match between Eydilon & Monolith went back and forth for a few moments, but it was apparent that Monolith was most likely going to win the match, when Monolith was tossed outside the ring. All of a sudden, Martial Law (except for Shayne), led by Sly Drury, appeared!! Drury distracted the referee, arguing with him and threatening to fire him for “not doing your damn job!” During the distraction, Iron Hand, Code Destroyer, and Mean Streets brutally beat down Monolith with a variety of weapons (the crowbar, chairs, brass knuckles), before finally tossing Monolith back into the ring. Drury then stepped out of the ring, motioning for Eydilon to pin Monolith. Eydilon then quickly locked Monolith into the MISTS OF EYDILON, leaving the referee no choice but to call for the bell as Monolith was nearly unconscious from the Martial Law attack…

*Sinful takes out Catfight in a fast-paced match, ending it with LIFE BLOOD (FELINE FURY +6)

**In the back, Nitro is with Coven Black and Necros...The Vampire Empire. Necros speaks, ignoring Nitro’s questions.

Necros: “What you just witnessed by my daughter, Sinful, is only the beginning. The Dark Ones are rising to conquer and rule this federation of halfwits and cattle. Sinful will go on to defeat Taichi, feasting on her blood, to win the GWF Females Championship. And as for us, Vampire Empire, tonight our dark crusade begins. Fist to fall? The Predators. Then the rest of the tag team division...and at the end of this dark path? Vampire Empire reigning as the GWF Galaxian Tag Team Champions…”

*The Predators take the win over Vampire Empire by DQ when Dark Menace smashed Wolf with his cane

**After the match, Wolf locked the Dark Menace in the SAVAGE FACE CLAW, immediately bringing Menace to his knees...Necros jumped in the ring and attacked Lope, sending him to the outside, then Necros & Coven Black double teamed Wolf for several moments, until Lope jumped back in the ring, forcing the Vampires to retreat…

**Nitro is in the back with Fist & Probation, the current Top Shots to the Tag Team Titles. And tonight Fist & Probation will be voluntarily putting their Top Shot Status on the line against former Tag Team Champions, Titan Samurai. The Aethrans say that the reason they are putting their Top Shot on the line is because no team can claim to be better than the Gladiators. And after tonight, when Fist & Probation walk out of this arena, still the Top Contenders to the tag titles, then the “never-was” team of Titan Samurai, will also be rubble.

**A backstage camera has eyed Sly Drury and GWF Champion, Shayne, walking through the hall talking about the Gauntlet that Monolith must fight through tonight. Drury tells Shayne not to worry about it, that Monolith has no chance of defeating ALL of Martial Law, and that Shayne’s title will not even be put on the line tonight. Shayne answers Drury, “That’s the problem, hombre….I want to put the belt on the line. I know I can lasso that bull and put him down in the dirt.” Drury looks a little shocked, but Shayne says that he doesn’t need Martial Law running distractions for him to keep the belt. The two men are now at Drury’s office door. The two continue to talk as they step inside and close the door…

*Harbingers of DOOM quickly put away the Monster Hunters when Eydilon locked Crossfire in the MISTS OF EYDILON (after Balaal locked him in the BITE OF THE SERPENT)

*The Witness defeats Aethran Overmaster by DQ when The Leveler attacked Witness

**The ending moments of the match: Witness locks Overmaster in the PROSECUTION, he has it in tight...Leveler climbs in the ring and begins a brutal beatdown to Witness!! The referee calls for the bell, as now Overmaster recovers and joins in on the attack. Nexus tries to stop the beatdown, but he is nailed by Overmaster’s REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER, sending him crashing over the top rope and to the floor! Leveler and Overmaster continue, while Fist & Probation are now in the ring...out rushes the other Titans...Titan Samurai and Perfect Specimen...but where is Overtime?? The Leveler, Fist & Probation are able to fend off Titan Samurai & Spec, while Overmaster continues to destroy Witness...Finally, the chaos is broken up, but the damage is done, as Witness needs to be taken out on a stretcher….

**Final moments of the match: Monolith has Iron Hand in I BREAK YOU...but before Iron Hand would tap out, out to the ring runs Sly Drury. Drury steps up onto the ring apron, distracting Monolith, who drops Iron Hand and heads toward Drury...but the rest of Martial Law (Patch, Skiver, Code Destroyer) slip into the ring from the other side and launch an attack on Monolith!! Drury steps into the ring and joins...it is not 5 on 1, as Monolith is overwhelmed by the numbers!! After a few minutes of this assault, out to the ring walks Shayne, carrying the GWF Galaxian Belt. Shayne steps in and pulls the members of Martial Law away from Monolith, then he and Drury begin talking. Shayne grabs the mic, and says that he doesn’t want anyone getting involved in his dealing with Monolith, and that if Monolith wants a shot at the belt, then he can have a shot at the belt...because Shayne doesn’t duck anyone. Shayne then says that on GWF #91, the next supercard, Monolith can have his shot. Shayne then walks out of the ring, but stops before he leaves the ring area, turns around, and tells Drury that he can finish his “business” with Monolith, and then leaves...The rest of Martial Law then goes on the attack once more on Monolith, but before much more damage could be done, out runs to the ring the Predators and Panther Warrior for the save!! After a short brawl, the AniMen force Martial Law to retreat…

GWF #90 @ Marishula Gridiron Field, Delphinus

The show opens up with an earlier clip of GWF Champ, Shayne, and Sly Drury arriving to the arena. As both men step out of the limo, Nitro is waiting for them. He asks Shayne about the upcoming match with Monolith. Drury cuts him off, saying that if Monolith is even able to make it to the match….When out of nowhere, Monolith appears!! Monolith takes Drury out with a Crashing Stampede tackle, then turns to Shayne!! Both Shayne and Monolith begin trading blows until several armed security officers separate the two…

Now cut to the ring, where Sly Drury is standing. Drury says that he wants to suspend Monolith for attacking the GWF Commissioner (Sly Drury, himself). But Sly says that Shayne has requested that he does not do what should be done. He says that on the next show, GWF #91, Monolith will not be facing Shayne for the GWF Belt. Instead, Monolith will have to earn gold by defeating Patch in a Suicide Street Match. And then, if he does win that one...then he gets a shot at the Interplanetary Title. After that, we will see what happens and how he feels. But he warns that Monolith must stop “all these unprovoked attacks” on the GWF Commissioner.

*The Ultimate Fighters over Harbingers of DOOM by DQ when Eydilon was DQ’d outside the ring with Clinch

**Nitro is in the back with Monolith. He asks Monolith about Commissioner Sly Drury’s decision earlier, about Monolith’s GWF Title match...but Monolith takes the mic and shoves Nitro out of the camera view. Monolith says that Drury and Shayne are doing nothing but dodging him, and that eventually, there will not be anymore moves left. He warns both Drury and Shayne that he is coming for them both, and he will leave them both desolate by destruction...and he will once again be the GWF Galaxian Champion…

Iron Hand laughs, and corrects Nitro, saying that Monolith has to get through Patch first...in Patch’s specialty match. Iron Hand says he has no concerns regarding Monolith...and then heads to the ring for his match…

Hell’s new opponent: Ghena… You can hear Menace start to loudly complain, but Drury simply hangs up the phone….

**After the match, Dark Menace barely escapes the wild Ghena…but Bishop Hell recovers and lights up Ghena’s face with a vicious HELLFIRE!! A second HELLFIRE sends Ghena rolling out of the ring and to the floor…

Fhanna then grabs the belt and measures Catfight with a solid smash to the head, opening up a brutal cut across her forehead!! But before Fhanna could do anymore damage, Taichi rushes up the ramp to chase Fhanna away…

*Sly Drury manages to fight back, defeating Witness with I Run This Fed

**After the match, Sly Drury gets into an argument, threatening to fire the referee for being biased in Witness’ favor, and trying to give the match to Witness via a fast count

**The next match (Monolith vs. Patch in a Suicide Street Match) is not able to take place due to Mean Streets attacking Monolith in the back!! Monolith is left bloodied by Mean Streets using a variety of weapons, answering the question as to why Monolith did not make the save for Wolf & Lope…

He says that Monolith cornered him in the hallway, demanding Iron Hand to sign a contract to put the Interplanetary Title on the line…tonight. Drury leans back in his deluxe chair, looks at Iron Hand, and asks, “Are you going to defend the belt tonight?” Iron Hand looks quite shaken, but answers, “Of course…”

**After the match, as Fhanna is celebrating, standing on the 2nd turnbuckle, the current GWF Women’s Champion, Catfight, makes her way out to the entrance ramp. The two rivals glare at one another, as Catfight lifts the belt over her head as the show goes to commercial break…

**After the commercial, Commissioner Sly Drury is standing in the ring, flanked by GWF Interplanetary Champion, Iron Hand, and Code Destroyer. Drury says that a challenge has been issued earlier this evening, and that the man that issued the challenge, is more than ready to step in the ring for a title match against one of the greatest Interplanetary champions to ever hold the belt. He has the contract in his hand, and offers Monolith to come on down to the ring and sign it. After a few moments, Monolith appears on the entrance ramp, then heads to the ring. Monolith stands on the apron, motioning for Drury’s “two lackeys” to leave. Drury assures Monolith there is no ill intent, that he only needs to sign the contract, and he will have his title match…here, tonight…Monolith steps into the ring, not keeping his eyes off of Code Destroyer. He looks over the contract Drury had in his hand, then signs it. “See? All you need to do is ask,” Drury says, as he reaches his hand out for Monolith to return the contract. As Monolith hands it to him, he suddenly grabs Drury, then powerbombs Drury, slamming him to the mat! Both Destroyer and Iron Hand move to attack Monolith but they are taken down with a double clothesline by the Behemoth!! Monolith then takes the IP Belt and lays out Code Destroyer with it, then sends Drury over the top rope with another head smash with the belt! This leaves Iron Hand. As Iron Hand recovers, Monolith lays him out with a shot to the head with the belt! Monolith then sets up for CATASTROPHE, but Mean Streets are now at ringside and they pull Iron Hand out of the ring…Drury is beside himself at ringside, swearing revenge on Monolith…but Mot & Kram wonders, “Did Monolith simply attack first?”

**Both teams continue to brawl afterwards, with Sinful and Elina brawling, also. After several moments, the officials were able to break it up…

*Fist & Probation defeat Harbingers of DOOM when The Leveler shoots Harbinger with an energy beam, stunning him, allowing Probation to tag to Fist and the follow up with AETHRAN HONOR

**After the match, Vampire Empire walks out to the entrance ramp and they issue their challenge to the Gladiators for the Tag Titles. But before Fist & Probation could answer, the recognizable “OOOWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!!” echoes throughout the arena, and Wolf & Lope, the Predators, step out from the curtain…and they issue their challenge. As Vampire Empire and The Predators start to argue, Commissioner Sly Drury appears on the GalactiTron. He says he hears the arguments as to why everyone should get a title shot at the Gladiators, and he has a solution. On the next GWF show, a tournament will be held to establish the top contenders to the tag team titles. He has 10 teams that will participate, and he will randomly decide the brackets….

(The last and final fall saw The Leveler get involved, shooting Spec with an energy blast, breaking up a pin attempt, which then brought Nexus into the match, breaking up another pinfall attempt. Both men were bloodied by the end (Spec = 8 tokens / Overmaster = 7 tokens). This was an exciting match that saw both men use their finishers several times, with the match being able to go to either man in a moment.)

*Sly Drury takes apart Witness, ending the match with REGIME CHANGE

*After the match, Drury tosses Witness to the outside. He stands in the ring, with the mic…He says that Monolith thinks he has the upper hand in his match against Iron Hand for the Interplanetary Title…but Monolith needs to “think again”...because the “small print” shows the match will be a No DQ / No CO match…and Code Destroyer will be at ringside. With that, Drury drops the mic, tips his hat, then leaves the ring and takes his place at the commentary table…

(Before the match could start, Monolith charges Code Destroyer with a Crashing Stampede, sending him crashing through the announce area (aiming for Drury!) and through the barricade!! Monolith then plants Destroyer onto several chairs with a Monolithic Slam, sending fans scurrying and taking Destroyer out of the action, knocking him unconscious! As Monolith walked back into the ring, he gave a recovering Sly Drury a smirk)

*Monolith destroys Iron Hand, not allowing him to get even one move on offense, ending the match after 3 consecutive CATASTROPHES (Monolith lifted Iron Hand up, breaking the pinfall the first two CATASTROPHES)

**After the match, Monolith stands in the center of the ring, lays the IP Belt down in front of him, and challenges Sly Drury to step in and challenge him for the title…Drury, though, thinks better of it, and heads back to the back with a battered Iron Hand and Code Destroyer in tow…

**After the commercial break, Sly Drury is just outside his office, talking, pleading with Shayne to not go out there and wrestle….Seeing that Monolith just decimated the Security Squad, Shayne needs protection. Shayne gives a laugh, says to Drury, “Monolith is after you, partner, not me…” Shayne then heads to the ring for his title defense…
