Deimos Perennial 2127: The Day Death Came For Us All
as reported in the pages of Galactic Wrestling Illustrated
I remember that day...I remember that day that Death came for us all. The beginning of another exciting year in the GWF, the Deimos Perennial, where feuds are settled, and feuds are born. But nothing was born that day, only death, chaos and destruction. Yes, I remember that day.
You may ask what my thoughts are. My only thoughts are about those that lost their lives. Many of my friends in this business. But not just this business, throughout the galaxy, throughout the universe, for the Black Death came to claim us all. Why I was spared, while my brother was not, I may never know. Why my sister in law was spared, while her son turned into a raging lunatic, hell-bent on slaughtering her other children, finally being put down by her husband, the child's father, I may never know. But I do know this one thing: This galaxy, no, this UNIVERSE, must come together to combat this Black Death.
I remember that day clearly. And I hate what happened that day, solemnly, fearfully. I remember that day.
Here is my story about The Day that the Black Death came for us all...
I was ready to report on the annual Deimos Perennial, the GWF's huge PPV, opening the new year with new wrestlers, new feuds, new angles, and new battles. Just as the show was beginning to get started, new Commissioner, Euritar, was on his way to the ring for an announcement. That is when the chaos began.
Just as Euritar was about to step into the ring, a blinding flash of light struck everyone in the arena temporarily blind. As our vision came back into focus, standing in the ring was the man who came to be known as Harbinger. Slithering next to him was Balaal, and flanking the two of them were the eight wrestlers who had recently converted to the Black Death.
Harbinger stated that the End of Days was upon us, and that the Black Death was only the beginning. With that, a crackle of electricity, black electricity, shot across the arena, inflicting instant death to several thousand fans all at once. The building began to sway, the very foundations of the Deimos InterGalactic Arena shook, as many other fans went into a berserk-like rage. Brawls erupted over the smoldering bodies, violent fights everywhere. Later, I had learned that these wild, uncontrolled brawls and fights were happening all over the cosmos, preceded by the black lightening strikes, just as it happened in our location.
Billions died instantly by the black lightening strikes, millions more across the universe by the mindless, violent fighting and brawls. The universe seemed to quake, quiver, if you will, as the Black Death fully entered our realm of existence. The end truly felt like it was upon us. Death had finally came for us all, it seemed.
I remember looking up into the ring, the horrors all around, and seeing only the purple-red glow of the eyes of Harbinger, those eyes, those evil, evil eyes...twinkle in the chaos, they seemed to...smile...out of the hood that shrouded his face. I will never forget those eyes, to my dying day, to the very last breath, those eyes will forever haunt my nightmares, for I no longer have pleasant dreams.
What the others were doing, I could not tell you. I was too transfixed on those eyes to look anywhere else. One thing I do remember, though, I remember hearing a voice echoing in my mind, threatening to shatter any sanity I may have been holding onto. In my mind, I could see a formless shape, dark, brooding, three of them in a dark and cold mist. The Three, at least, that is what I am assuming since I have listened to The Guardian give information, was speaking to me. I cannot repeat what was said, for I fear that those words they spoke will come true. And my greatest fear is that they will. But I will say this...if The Three are permitted to enter into our realm, our dimension, then death would be too good for us. Death would be too pleasant for us. Death would only be the beginning for us.
I remember that day, I remember that day that Death came for us all...

GWF Special Report
Commissioner Euritar has announced that the GWF is ready to step up and confront the threat known as the Black Death. For the last several months, the GWF has been in a state of stasis. When the Black Death entered this dimension, Earth was devastated. The medical and basic needs support structure was no longer in effect due to the “attack”. The GWF stepped in, and offered the use of the Deimos InterGalactic Arena to help with alleviating some of the pain and struggle. So, for the last several months, the GWF has helped with support.
But now the time has come for the GWF to open back up, to take a physical stand against the evil that is permeating the galaxy and threatening to take over. The doors of the grand GWF is now reopening, and fans couldn't be more excited, and thankful!!
Commissioner Euritar's first order of business was to vacate all GWF Titles. For too many months, no GWF show has been held, and no championship titles have been defended. Plus, added to this, during the initial rioting that took place when the Black Death appeared in fulness, some of the belts were stolen by rioters and looters. Added to this loss, the systems in place to house the histories of the GWF were destroyed in many areas and places, leaving the history of the GWF fractured and lost to time. So, the GWF has made new belts, and Euritar has stated that the GWF will begin anew, with new "histories" being made. Just as the GWF did in 2119, so it will again in 2127, just 8 years later.
“A new beginning, a fresh start,” stated Euritar at a recent press conference. “This marks a new beginning. The old has passed away, and all things have become new, as the ancient text from one of the cosmos' greatest religions stated. This is a new beginning, a new, fresh start.”
A silent hush has filled the galaxy, as not only the wrestling world, but the universe as a whole, prepares for the confrontation between the Black Death and the GWF. Who will come out of this conflict the winner? Time will only tell. But first, steps must be made. And the first step is to re-establish the Championships. The plan is to have 4 Titles: The GWF Galaxian, The GWF Galaxian Tag Team, The GWF Interplanetary, and the GWF Women's. These four championships will be determined in tournaments. The Tag Team, Interplanetary, and Women's Titles will be determined in basic 8 man/team tournaments. But the big one, the GWF Galaxian Title, the highest prize in sports, will be awarded to the winner of a 16-man tournament.
“The time has come,” Euritar finished in his most recent press conference, “to battle for the honor of what the GWF once stood for. The time has come for glory, for guts, and for strength to win against all odds. The GWF will be the battleground, and where the Black Death will face the beginning of THEIR end."

GWF #1 - Black Death Takeover: "The Black Death Cometh" @ Deimos InterGalactic Arena, Deimos, Mars
**Commissioner Euritar is in the ring to welcome the fans to the GWF, but is interrupted by Harbinger and the Black Death team. All nine surrounded the ring, then climbed into the ring. Harbinger spoke, saying that the “Takeover begins...now”. As they began to make their move towards Euritar, Endgame and the FDF & the FDF Reserves charged the ring, and a wild brawl exploded!! After several moments, the Black Death retreated, but Harbinger spoke yet again: “Tonight, you will witness only the beginning of the Black Death, for the Black Death Cometh, but soon, the End of Days will be upon you...”
The Guardian returned with this statement: “The FDF and the FDF Reserves are united, even if the rest of the GWF refuses to!!”
Hype notes that tonight's matches, each one, will feature Black Death wrestlers, and each title will be defended.
Clips are shown of the recent tournaments to crown the GWF Champions, ending with a “Roll Call of Champions” screen...
GWF Galaxian Champion: Monolith GWF Galaxian Tag Team Champions: Rush & Turmoil GWF Interplanetary Champion: HelSin
GWF Interplanetary Title Bishop Hell vs. HelSin (ch)
>Bishop Hell shocks HelSin with the HELLFIRE very early in the match to take the win, and the belt
BD = 1 Win / GWF = 0 Wins
*Nosfera is not “officially” with Black Death, but Harbinger “allows” him to represent the Black Death? The serpent, Balaal, appears at the arena entrance, watching....
Nosfera vs. Endgame
>Endgame over Nosfera by DQ outside the ring
BD = 1 Win / GWF = 1 Win
Alpha Female vs. Paganax
>This clash ended with Paganax putting Alpha Female away via a Primal Scream, in spite of Havoc's interference
BD = 1 Win / GWF = 2 Wins
*After the match, Alpha Female grabbed his skull staff and smashed Paganax in the back of the head!! Paganax went to one knee, and looked to be shaking the blow off, when Alpha Female nailed him with SLAVE NO MORE, nearly taking Paganax' head off!! Though Alpha Female lost her first match, she seems to have one this battle...and most surprisingly, there were even cheers in the audience...
*Aethran Overmaster and Oracle are set to have a rematch from the Tournament...And Overmaster is not in a good mood...
Aethran Overmaster vs. Oracle
>Oracle shocks the galaxy yet-again, as Overmaster misses the REIGH OF THE OVERMASTER, allowing Oracle to smash him with DARK FUTURES for the big win!!
BD = 2 Wins / GWF = 2 Wins
*Once Overmaster recovers, he goes on a huge tear, nearly destroying the ring area, and had to be subdued by several officials...
*Tharkas grabbed the mic before the bell rung...
Tharkas: I am disgusted that I must face this disgusting humanoid...I can smell the scent of decay...Why must I subject myself to this...”match”?
In reply, Harbinger's eyes simply glowed a fierce red...the time for talking seems to be past, as Harbinger and Tharkas squared off...
Tharkas vs. Harbinger
>Harbinger made short work of the egotistical Tharkas, putting him away with PORTENT OF DOOM. The fans were not sure if they should be upset that Harbinger won his match, or happy that Tharkas got his mouth stuffed shut with Harbinger's boot...
BD = 3 Wins / GWF 2 Wins
*It was noted that PSI was watching the last match closely in the back, watching every move Harbinger seemed to make...
GWF Galaxian Tag Team Titles BD Spellbound vs. Rush & Turmoil (ch)
>Rush & Turmoil push back the challenge of BD Spellbound, defeating a bloodied Coven Black (7 tokens) and Balaal (8 tokens) during a crazy match that saw the referee get knocked out for several minutes. Finally, the end came when Rush planted Balaal with the Gladiator Piledriver
BD = 3 Wins / GWF = 3 Wins
6-Man Tag Team Match BD Cage Rage & Mantis vs. Tauran, Payback, and Swarm
>NO CONTEST as the referee simply could not gain control as Mantis violently attacked Swarm as Swarm climbed into the ring, followed up with Betrayer attacking Payback and Anivar stomping Tauran!!
BD = 3 Wins / GWF = 3 Wins
*The violence done by Mantis, Betrayer and Anivar was incredulous, and extremely appalling, as the 3 members of the Black Death bloodied and brutalized their supposed opponents. Finally, after several moments of intensified violence, Endgame rushed to the ring, but the damage had already been done, as Swarm, Tauran and Payback all laid in pools of blood...
GWF Galaxian Title Havoc vs. Monolith (ch)
>Monolith defends the GWF Title, putting away Havoc with the CATASTROPHE for the pin
BD = 3 Wins / GWF = 4 Wins
*The GWF comes out on top in the opening Takeover bid by Black Death!! But before the GWF can breathe a sigh of relief, and before Monolith can even begin to celebrate his victory, the Black Death team storms the ring, launching an attack on the GWF Champion!! Monolith did well fending off the attackers, but even the mighty must fall sometimes, as the numbers game was simply too much for Monolith to overcome!! Endgame ran to the ring, but even he fell victim to the dominant numbers of the Black Death!! Over the next few minutes, teams came out, piecemeal, only to be beaten down in return...until finally, nobody else came to the aid of the fallen. In the back, Aethran Overmaster glared, with a hint of...satisfaction(??) on his face...as the show went off the air...

Here is the line up and preview for GWF #2...
Tricks vs. Hector, The Holy Brown Bear - Tricks says that he has no clue as to what is going on in the universe. All He knows is that he was busy with his birthday clown schedule, when out of nowhere...BAM!!! The Black Death shows up and little kids start eating the flesh off of their parents!! When asked about Oracle's involvement, Tricks shrugged his shoulders without much of an answer at all. But there is a deviousness in his eyes...Then there is Hector. PSI has stated that he senses something "strange" in Harbinger, especially during his matches...as though there is a mental string, or cable, that seems to get tense during his matches. Hector says that he is the one that knows about Harbinger and the Black Death's little "secret", and has told PSI to back off and let the professional handle it. Both Hector and Tricks are looking to get in the "picture" in this match...both men seem to have their own agendas, and both men are not afraid to go to extremes to get those agendas accomplished.
Payback vs. The Betrayer - Payback is wanting some...well...payback. Betrayer says that he is wanting to break the legs of Payback. Payback says, "Bring it, son!!" But which version of Betrayer will it be that shows up? Either one, Payback is looking to put the hurt on, especially after the violent assault by Betrayer at GWF #1.
Retribution vs. Harbinger - It is odd to see Retribution on the heel side of things...but he will no doubt be cheered in his match vs. Harbinger. Harbinger dominated Retribution's team partner, Tharkas...but Retribution is not Tharkas. But Harbinger is still Harbinger. Need to mention, also...PSI is on the heels of Harbinger, watching every move he makes, in the ring and out. Harbinger has noticed, and his response to PSI's claims that there is something not right with Harbinger and his "link" to the rest of the Black Death: "PSI, Harbinger requests you to appear at ringside...so you can see first-hand the destruction that Harbinger brings to the galaxy. I will make certain that you will feel my wrath if you ever get involved in immortal affairs that are above and beyond you and your simple mind..."
GameMasters vs. The Ultimate Fighters - With Rush & Turmoil's big Title defense over BD Spellbound, an opening to challenge the Tag Champs has been revealed. These two teams are two of the top teams in the GWF. Both are hungry, capable, and ready to take the fight to Rush & Turmoil. The question is...will Spellbound simply back away after losing to convincingly to the Tag Champs? They are not scheduled to be on the show, but that does not mean that they won't show up...
Aethran Overmaster vs. Oracle - Oracle has shocked the galaxy, defeating Aethran Overmaster yet again. Overmaster says it is time to put Oracle away for good. Oracle predicts that Overmaster will not only NOT win, but that he will come out of this match injured, too....
Mantis & Anivar vs. Swarm & Tauran - To show solidarity between the GWF heroes, Tauran and Swarm are teaming up to take on the violent challenge of Mantis & Anivar. The last time these men met, the match was called off (GWF #1, the 6-Man Tag Match). Swarm & Tauran are both looking to calm the rage of their former partners, children (Mantis being the son of Swarm) and best friends (Anivar being the best friend of Tauran). Mantis and Anivar are simply out to hurt, maim and destroy.
BD Revolution vs. Military Powers - It seems as though Aethran Overmaster is trying to send his lackey's after Alpha Female & Havoc, instead of meeting them head on. BD Revolution is out to prove that they are the best, and to challenge the Gladiators. But, they first must go through the Military Powers to "earn" that shot at the Aethrans. Paganax has already defeated Alpha Female at GWF #1...but will he be able to do it again on this show? Revolution is betting not...
HelSin vs. Bishop Hell (ch) for the Interplanetary Title - HelSin gets his rematch at the "good" Bishop. Hell dominated HelSin at GWF #1, winning the IP Title quickly after blasting him with the HELLFIRE out of nowhere very early in the match. Can Bishop Hell retain the title? Or will HelSin take his 2nd Interplanetary Title?

GWF #2 @ Cassini Auditorium, Mars
*The show opens up with the closing moments of GWF #1...Monolith had just defeated Havoc, successfully defending his GWF Belt, when the rest of the Black Death stormed the ring. Monolith managed to fight them off for a few moments, but soon fell to to the overwhelming numbers of the Black Death...Over time, other wrestlers and/or teams ran out, but there was no focus, no organization, and each wrestler/team was dismantled and tossed to the outside easily...finally, the final view was Aethran Overmaster, along with the other members of the Gladiators, standing in the back, glaring at the screen...with a hint of a smirk on the Overmaster's face...
Hype, Abroz & Dialectus welcomes the fans to another GWF Fight Card!! Before they could say much else, they were interrupted by Endgame's music!!
Endgame makes his way to the ring with The Guardian, HelSin, Tauran & PSI with him...
Endgame: Overmaster...you can't seem to understand, you cannot seem to get it into your head exactly what is going on here in the GWF...no, in the Universe...You stand back there in the back, smirking to yourself, while the rest of the GWF tried to fight off the Black Death. You stand back there...for what? You have claimed that Monolith can fight for himself...that the FDF, they can stand on their own...The Titans, Fight Club...the list goes on...they can all go out to the ring and fight for what needs to be fought for...while you and your Gladiators stand in the back and watch, smirk, laugh...Why? Because Monolith is your enemy? Because Fight Club doesn't like you? Because I think you are an overrated bag of talking trash? The GWF must stand together, we must join together, to overcome this Black Death threat...I am offering you a handshake of trust, an alliance...we must stand to--
The Aethran War Anthem blares across the arena, as The Aethran Overmaster walks out to the entrance ramp, flanked by Paralyze, Rush & Turmoil...
Overmaster: My God, Endgame...you simply talk too much. Do you really think I care what the GWF needs? The only thing I care about is what I want, what I desire!! And I desire the Gladiators of Aethra becomes the most dominant, the most feared group of men in this GWF...And to do that does not lead us to run out and save your asses from the beating you all deserve!! Rush & Turmoil had already knocked two members of the Black Death down, tonight, I will crush Oracle once and for all...and Paralyze? He is the big boa constrictor, just waiting to strike out of the shadows. We don't need anyone else, nor will we be moved to help anyone!! The next time you want to talk about the Aethrans, be ready for a fist down your throat, and a boot up your ass!!
As Overmaster began to turn to head to the back, he stopped, turned, and said, “You know what? I need a warm-up...come on, boys!!” And with that, the Aethrans charged the ring!! An 8 man brawl exploded between the FDF & the Gladiators!! After several moments, the officials were finally able to break it up...
Tricks vs. Hector, the Holy Brown Bear
>The match is awarded to Tricks due to Hector pulling a no-show
*Before Tricks left the ring, Commissioner Euritar appeared on the GalactiTron...
Euritar: Hold on, Tricks...just stay where you are. First, I am not sure where Hector is, but this is a message for him: This will not be permitted. You have a match, you be here for that match. I am fining Hector $2,000 credits for this no-show. Now, onto further matters...Paralyze, you act like you want to fight...alright, I am going to set up a fight for you. Get out there to the ring, now, and face Tricks!!
Paralyze vs. Tricks
>Paralyze puts away Tricks with a HEART TRANSPLANT
Payback vs. Death Masque Betrayer
>Betrayer takes the win, nailing Payback with the Crash and Burn to Payback in a mid-air attempt at a deathjump
*As Payback recovered, you could see a change come over Betrayer, as he ripped at his wrestling gear, tearing the mask off violently to reveal his Cage Death persona!! He then went on a violent rage on Payback, locking him in NO ESCAPE for several moments until Swarm rushed to the ring to make the save!!
Retribution vs. Harbinger
>Harbinger defeats Retribution via SOUL TAKER
*During the match, PSI made his way to ringside, to provide commentary. The momentary distraction nearly cost Harbinger the match, though, as Retribution came very close to winning, but Harbinger quickly turned things around, and planted Retribution with the SOUL TAKER for the win.
During the match, though, PSI said that he is sensing some “strange strands” branching out from Harbinger when he wrestles, and in fact, he just felt them get stronger when he nearly lost. PSI then said that he believes the power of the Black Death relies on Harbinger's performance in the ring...
After the match, Harbinger slid to the outside and flipped the announce table over!! Both PSI and Harbinger locked eyes...until Harbinger slowly began to walk backwards around the ring, then headed up the ramp and through the curtain...
The GameMasters vs. The Ultimate Fighters
>The GameMasters take the match when Thantos locked Shoot in the MASTERLOCK, forcing him to tap out.
*After the match, Star Warrior grabbed the mic...
Star Warrior: After our incredible victory here tonight...it is only right, that we do what is expected of us, you know, us being the incomparable and incredible legends that we are...that we do what is expected of us. So we hereby challenge those “brutes”, those masters of “massacre”, those guys with all those “spikes” all over their outfits, those guys that buckets of “mayhem”...
Thantos: What my brother is trying to say is...Rush & Turmoil...we challenge you two jokers for the Tag Team Titles!!
Star Warrior: Yes, because we are the Legends, and you are yesterdays bathroom break!!
Aethran Overmaster vs. Oracle
>Oracle manages to escape, winning the match by DQ when Overmaster tossed the referee aside outside the ring
Swarm & Tauran vs. Mantis & Anivar
>Mantis & Anivar defeat Swarm & Tauran when Mantis locked Swarm in the PINCER CLAMP
*Even though Mantis & Anivar won, they continued to attack Swarm & Tauran!! Quickly, before any damage could be done, the rest of the FDF and the FDF Reserves rushed to the ring to make the save...
BD Revolution vs. Military Powers
>BD Revolution over the Military Powers after Havoc nailed Paganax with the COSMIC NIGHTMARE
GWF Interplanetary Title HelSin vs. Bishop Hell (ch)
>Bishop Hell defends his Title, defeating HelSin with the HELLFIRE
*After the match, Bishop Hell set up HelSin for the HELLFIRE again, but out to the ring charged...PARALYZE (!!??!!) Paralyze leveled Bishop Hell, sending the champion over the top rope and crashing into the retreating Dark Menace!! HelSin recovered, but not for long, as Paralyze then turned his attention to HelSin...planting him with the PERMANENTLY PARALYZE as the show went off the air...

The next stop for the GWF? GWF #3 will be held at the Phoebe Civic Arena, Saturn...join us for some great wrestling action!!
Here is the preview for the show...
Patch vs. Tharkas - Patch finally gets his hands on Tharkas, and is looking to do a little bit more than the last time these two were face-to-face...instead of punching Tharkas in the face, Patch plans on stomping a hole in Tharkas' body!! Tharkas, arrogant as ever, has told Patch that when they get in the ring, Tharkas' superior alien genetics will take over, and that Tharkas cannot be held responsible for what happens...
BD Revolution vs. Circus Strongmen - BD Revolution won their debut match, defeating the Military Powers. Now, the Circus Strongmen are set before them. Revolution has stated that they will toss aside every challenge that is set before them, and they pray that Rush & Turmoil are still the tag team champions when Revolution gets their time to shine with the belts.
Harbinger vs. Overtime - So far, Retribution has been the only opponent to cause Harbinger any trouble, and it could be argued that the only reason for that was because PSI's presence at ringside distracted him. Harbinger has stated that he does not need to prove anything in regards to a weakness in the Black Death. In fact, what he does every time he enters the ring is proof that there is no weakness. He has offered PSI the chance to prove him wrong by stepping in the ring. PSI continues to study Harbinger, though, and says he believes he knows what can trigger the weakness in the Black Death...and he has accepted the challenge. His only stipulation is to have the match be the first match on the card...The ball is in Harbinger's court, and the GWF waits for his answer.
The Ultimate Fighters vs. The Master Race - TUF had a poor showing on GWF #2, and they are coming into this match with fire in their eyes, looking to turn things around. The Master Race has been out of the title hunt for a few years now, and they, too, are looking to get back on track. This is a tag team match between two very accomplished, pure tag teams....
Paralyze vs. HelSin - Paralyze has stated, in the most direct way, that he wants a shot at Bishop Hell and the Interplanetary Title. He destroyed Tricks on GWF #2, then at the end of the show, he tossed Bishop Hell around, and planted HelSin to the mat. HelSin is coming off a streak of losses, first losing the IP Title, then losing his rematch. The winner of this match would be in the front of the line for a title shot at Bishop Hell. A lot rides on this match, both professional and personal...
Payback vs. Betrayer - These two men had a great match...but afterwards, the Cage Death persona "appeared", and now Payback wants the Cage Death Betrayer in the ring...Betrayer is more than willing to give Payback the match...but which version will it be? This one could be violent...very violent!!
Swarm vs. Mantis - Swarm is having a very difficult time dealing with this feud against his son, Mantis. In fact, Mantis has dominated Swarm everytime they have met in the ring. Swarm needs to get his head in the game, or Mantis will be the end of him...and that is what Mantis seems to be counting on
Aethran Overmaster, Rush & Turmoil vs. Endgame, Tauran & PSI in a 6-Man Tag Team Match - The clash at the beginning of GWF #2 has set the stage for these 6 men. Not much can be said, other than the Aethrans are wanting to take over, and Endgame is seeking an alliance to pull the GWF together. This brawl will do one of two things: either bring them together, or tear them further apart....

I'm really liking Black Death Cometh and I look to read more of your great action, I will be caught up set wise with the Black Death era and plan to introduce that in my FMX (part of my FMX FEEL THE iMPACT! thread) down the road. What I've liked with your stuff so far is Retribution vs. Harbinger and the Aethrans going after Alpha Female & Havoc, I'm pulling for Harbinger to defeat Retribution...

GWF #3 @ Phoebe Civic Arena, Saturn
*The show starts up with Patch and Tharkas ready to wrestle...
Patch vs. Tharkas
>Tharkas takes the win, putting Patch away via the OBLITERATOR
*As Tharkas begins to celebrate, berating the fans, Monolith appears in the ring via teleportation, and simply runs over Tharkas with the Crashing Stampede, before picking him up and tossing him over the top rope and to the floor!! Monolith looks around, and before Patch is able to recover, Monolith picks him up and press slams him over the top rope, also!! Monolith glares into the camera, smirks, and simply says: “A statement is forthcoming...”
And with that...Monolith is gone in a flash of light, as he is teleported away from the ring...
BD Revolution vs. Circus Strongmen
>Revolution takes the win after Havoc took Gryt's head off with the COSMIC NIGHTMARE
*Immediately after the match, Monolith's music hits, and the crowd erupts!! Havoc and Alpha Female begin looking, watching for Monolith to appear, ready for a fight...but Monolith never shows...
The Ultimate Fighters vs. The Master Race
>The Ultimate Fighters over The Master Race when Shoot forced Thraxx to tap to TAPPED OUT!
Paralyze vs. HelSin
>Paralyze and HelSin fight to a Double DQ outside the ring
*Both men continue to brawl all around the ring area for several moments...until finally, Bishop Hell rushes out and smashes HelSin with the IP Title Belt, then blasts Paralyze with the HELLFIRE!! At that point, Monolith's music hits, once again...but Bishop Hell didn't hang around to wait for him to show up, as he quickly left the ring area, leaving Paralyze and HelSin on the ground...
Cage Death Betrayer vs. Payback
(This time, it was the Cage Death version of Betrayer appearing, storming the ring in a violent wave of craziness, attacking Payback before the bell rang!!)
>Payback wins a violent match, putting Cage Death Betrayer away with the EXVENGE (+6)
*Payback doesn't have much time to celebrate, though, as The Betrayer's tag team partner, Anivar, storms the ring and attacks Payback!! Betrayer quickly joins in the assault, also, but out to the ring rushes Swarm & Tauran for the save!! BD Cage Rage seems to relish the fight and the chaos...that is until Monolith's music, once again, comes over the sound system...Very quickly, The Betrayer and Anivar make a hasty retreat at the urging of the Dark Menace...
Hype makes the comment that it seems that Monolith could very well be stalking the Black Death team, as his music keeps coming on whenever a Black Death team member appears in the ring...Dialectus agrees, but Abroz seems irritated at the suggestion, stating that even Monolith would be a fool to attempt to tackle the Black Death by himself...
*(Prior to the next match, between Mantis and Swarm, a promo video is shown of Mantis...)
Mantis is in a bog or swamp, somewhere on Andromeda, standing on a amateurishly made raft, made of rotting wood...It is nighttime, as Mantis looks up towards the full moon...the sounds of the bugs can be heard, buzzing, along with the sounds of frogs and other night creatures stirring in the darkness...
Mantis: I love the friends I have gathered together on this thin raft...Daddy, do you know what a Mantis is? Do you realize what you fathered when you took my mother as your own? I am a hunter, a slayer of the multitude of bugs, though...oddly enough, I am a bug myself. What makes me better than you, though? (Mantis lifts a bag full of something...and dumps the contents onto the floor of the raft...a huge amount of bugs falls and begins crawling all over the place, all over each other, in a heap...Mantis begins to laugh) I kill, you only sting...(with that, Mantis begins to violently stomp on the bugs, smashing, squashing the huge heap of crawling things, until finally the raft splits, and begins to fall apart...but Mantis jumps to the shore, then gets very quiet, cocking his head, his antennae towards the sinking raft, and as the raft slowly sinks completely under the water, Mantis speaks again, in a whisper...) Listen...do you hear that? Do you...hear that? Do you hear their cries of anguish, of fear, of death? Yes, little bugs, yes, this is the End, my only friend, the End...and the End...is coming for you, Daddy...just as the End came for all these other little bugs...I will squash you, I will smash you, I will hunt you...I will kill you...(Mantis walks away, still laughing at the slaughter of all of the bugs that he killed...)
Mantis vs. Swarm
>Swarm forces Mantis to tap out to the WASP TRAP
*Swarm looks earnestly at his son, who appears to be injured...As Swarm approaches Mantis, though, Mantis, out of nowhere, hits the Prey Snare, locking on the PINCER GRASP!! Swarm is now the one in trouble, as Mantis is in full anger mode now, squeezing, clinching Swarm's body between his legs!! Payback rushes out to make the save, but he is not even able to force Mantis to release the hold...only after several punches to Mantis does Mantis finally release the hold!! Payback is looking after Swarm, trying to help him, when Mantis begins stalking Payback...until...Monolith's music, once again!! The Dark Menace begins to frantically look around, fear and dread in his eyes...then he sees the behemoth, Monolith, as he walks out to the stage!! Menace pulls Mantis away from the carnage of the ring, and through the crowd, seemingly escaping the glaring Monolith...After the Dark Menace and Mantis leave the ring area...Monolith stands at the entrance for a few more moments, watching the paramedics attend to Swarm then walks to the back, disappearing once more through the curtain...
Harbinger vs. Overtime
>Harbinger and Overtime battle to a Double DQ outside the ring
*As the bell sounded due to the Double DQ, Harbinger blasted Overtime with the SOUL TAKER onto the arena floor!! Harbinger, now fully in control, tossed Overtime back into the ring, then planted him with the PORTENT OF DOOM, then stood over the crumpled Overtime, arms raised in apparent victory...until, yes, you guessed it, Monolith's music came back on over the arena sound system...Harbinger stood, in the center of the ring, watching the arena entrance...but no Monolith appeared...finally, the GalactiTron showed the Black Death locker room, completely destroyed, as every Black Death team member was laid out, tables smashed, and lockers overturned...chaos, destruction...Harbinger went to leave the ring, but out of nowhere, Monolith appeared via teleporation and barreled over Harbinger with his CRASHING STAMPEDE!! Shockingly enough, Harbinger did not go down, but stumbled into the turnbuckle...Monolith and Harbinger began trading blows, with neither man gaining any advantage as an army of officials rushed into the ring to try to separate the two men!! Even though it took several minutes, both men were finally successfully pulled apart...neither man threatened the other, they just simply glared at one another from across the ring...

Sometimes a card can be really cool with a few Double DQ endings and the Paralyze vs. HelSin and Harbinger vs. Overtime were really cool outcomes in two wild bouts. The sweep by the Aethrans in the Main Event is a huge statement and it'll be interesting to see how long they can keep on a roll...
