Today after I got done sitting in this class for 8 hours that I have to take for work (thankfully the class ended today,) I drove down the street to go to Buffalo Wild Wings where I planned to drink and watch the NBA draft until Anthony Bennett, who played for my school UNLV, got drafted- turns out I didn't have to drink (only 2 beers) and wait too long!
The Cleveland Cavaliers made a very intelligent decision by drafting Bennett, IMO the most talented player in this draft class and also IMO the player with the biggest upside, at #1. I was a little surprised because most of the mock drafts for some reason I never understood had Bennett getting drafted somewhere between #4-#8.
Bennett becomes the first UNLV player to be drafted #1 overall since Larry Johnson in 1991 which was the year Johnson led UNLV to the national championship.
