In honor of the 10,000 thread my all-time greatest HOFmers are:
Justice - first huge star in my fed after taking the belt off of Star Warrior at GalactaMania 2093, voted the greatest card of the year in the promoter that year.
Pegasus - Hero card. Only guy I ever used after he was written out of the handbooks by Tom. Held my title longer than anyone ever in my fed until...
Max Shield - (prime card with the big roll finisher) broke Pegasus' reign, defeating everyone. I brought Pegasus back via the Transevolver and he regained the belt, only to lose to Endgame his rookie year. Then Pegasus finally retired.
Swarm - despite not really being pushed for the belt a lot, has been the face of the GFITG for the entire NB era. Inner Circle era still hold record for most views/hits.
A lot of other guys reigned supreme in my fed (Chaos, Thunder, Vyper, Menar) but these 4 have been the flag ships over 25 game years in the GFITG.
Who's next?

I'm just going to name one for now: Galactic Punisher/Vigilante. The Mercenaries were probably my favorite GWF tag team of all time, and I know Swarm was a huge fan of the GalactiCops, who I didn't like so much because they were always holier than thou to me, but looking back that was the point. I wasn't supposed to like them.
Galactic Punisher was also involved in one of my favorite angles of all time. I played 2088 in late 1996, and as a product of the era, in WWF, nobody liked anyone nor had any friends or allies. Bret was constantly whining about getting screwed by everyone. In 2088, Thantos was absolutely owning Star Warrior and successfully defended the title in 40 straight defenses (using the so-called "Champion's Advantage"). Star Warrior stated going heel and challenged all of the faces, culminating in a father-son showdown with Omega in which everyone thought would be the blowoff and that Star Warrior would revert to being a face. Long story short, SW played the crowd and continued his heel streak, so Omega brought in the Galactic Punisher from Cetus to "punish" Star Warrior until SW finally got it out of his system.
I loved the Punisher and continued to push him henceforth.

My favorite GWF singles wrestler had to be Spike hands down from the moment I saw his card back when it first came out. I remember that every time Spike entered the cage with Wolf those were always epic matches. Then when War Games 2091 came out and Spike went face in the handbook, I just couldn't do it. So I kept Spike in the fold with Brute, Massacre, and Mayhem. Spike was just one of those cards that popped for me the moment I saw the card and read his bio sheet in the handbook. Other wrestlers sometimes take me a while to warm up to like Harbinger, Endgame and Sur.

I will go with my HOF next...
Thantos 2087: The Gamemaster ruled the earlier years but never seemed to be able to capture the Galaxian Heavyweight Championship for some reason! On the other hand, Thantos has the all-time record for the Interplanetary Championship in my original fed. He held the IP title consecutively for FOUR game years (2088-2091) with no interruption! He has held the Galaxian Tag Team straps several times with various partners and was in the mix his entire career!
Krakan: The first ever inductee actually! Another one that never held onto the Galaxian Championship but was a major force early with his three Interplanetary reigns! He was instrumental in assisting the SOciety of Death in my fed's classic 'Power Struggle Wars' , in which, the Society of Death fought for control of the villain camp against the Royal Court.
Spike: Like many others, I saw the babysitter ad and fell into a great game! Been playing since 88 and haven't looked back (although have had gaps in time where life punched me in the jaw a few times)! Spike was dominant from day one as he unified the fed's version of the TV title and the Galaxian title and was in bloody matches against Star Warrior, Krakan, Thantos, and Wolf! Has held the Galaxian a total of SIX times- an event that was hard to achieve at the time with the schedule that used to be implemented!
Troubleshooters: Can u dig it suuuccckkkkaaaa? the most decorated tag team EVER in any iterations of my feds! They have established a standard that many teams will never reach and that includes any versions of the Gladiators! The only HOF to come back and face current stars (The Gamemasters 2126) and show the young 'uns what it means to a top tiered team in the GWF!

my favorite, DISASTER. Always did well for me, and I think he had a fair amount of success in other promotions?!
Thantos, I won my first title belt at GalactiCORN in Omaha with him! He can still hang with the best!
For Tag Teams...Nefarus & Vendetta, PainMaster & Mandrill! The Colonizers were one of the most dominate teams in GWF History, even trying to colonize Aethra!?! Great feud and storyline!

10,000 threads is awesome!
To chime in on all time greats in my fed:
Demons of Hydra: An unstoppable force for over a calendar year in their last incarnation. Don't know what it was, they beat everyone who came their way.
Draconian Sheik and Doomsday Creature...These two brought a reign of TERROR to my fed trading the Galaxian Title between each other while totally destroying everyone else who earned a shot during their feud. It was a lot of fun seeing those two rule my fed.
Chaos: No one dominated a title like he did with my IP title...I wasn't a very nice booker to Chaos and in return he took my secondary title and completely overshadowed the Galaxian champions during the same time period. When I finally relented he was a great Galaxian Champ as well.
There are so many others...a few things that stand out in my mind as memorable performances: Battering Ram winning the Galaxian title as a debuting rookie in my New Year's Tournament. Spike defending the Galaxian Championship quadruple elimination tournament in which the four winners faced off in a round robin...Alpha Force was sooooo close to knocking him off in their final head to head match in the round robin. The Ultimate Gladiators (Brute and Massacre) being untouchable after their last cleansing. Wolf/Massacre and Wolf/Thantos feuds in my first year. Seriously...I could go on all night, as I am sure everyone on the board could as well!
And finally, I just have a ton of memories playing COTG all over the world! Started off playing in LA when I bought the game for myself for my 17th birthday in 1987. In 1990, my COTG folder was an absolute must in my duffle bag as I headed off to Germany for my first assignment in the Air Force, and then the travels really began as I have had assignments in Galena, Alaska; Plattsburgh, New York (from where I attended my first G-Con); Biloxi, Mississippi; Great Falls, Montana; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Hattiesburg, Mississippi; and finally here in Honolulu, Hawaii. Along the way , any trips that the AF sent me on or that I took on my own, the COTG was always in my backpack as a carry along. I have played in Jamestown (duh), New York; Eatonia, Saskatchewan, Canada; Montgomery, Alabama, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada; Las Vegas, Nevada; and numerous locations throughout LA on many trips home. nothing more other than "this game is great" needs to be said! Looking for to another 10,000 threads!

Congrats to FG and the community for this big milestone. Add in over 25 years of the game going strong. Amazing!
My all-time favorites stem from my earliest memories of the game. I started playing when 2094 was out, so I have an affinity for Snelly art. Alpha Force is probably my all-time favorite as he was the top hero at the time and he held my Heavyweight belt for 2 straight game years! Later Max Shield filled a similar role as my top hero and new favorite and also held the belt for two straight game years. I actually had the two square off in the main event of GalaxyMania in a Hogan/Rock type of dream match.
My favorite tag teams were all Snelly-drawn with the Mercenaries, Gladiators and New Order trading the belts back and forth for years in an awesome, violent feud reminiscent of the Hardy-E&C-Dudley era. Oddly enough, I enjoyed the Flamboyance team a great deal and used them a lot in the comedic foil role.
More modern guys I enjoyed and had a lot of success with include The Troubleshooters on the tag side and Monolith and The Aethran Overmaster on the singles side. My timing actually worked out perfectly with a storyline with them. Monolith was already set to take on the AO for the Heavyweight belt when he was conveniently injured and put on the shelf. AO held the belt until Monolith's return and justice was served with Monolith finally ending the reign and gaining his revenge.
So many great memories with this game! Thank you Tom!
