With the Great Muta leaving All Japan Pro Wrestling he is starting his own promotion Wrestle 1. He recently met with Jeff Jarrett about bringing TNA talent to Japan for his promotion. Now one would think that this will be a two way street and we here will get some Japanese wrestlers over here. Nothing has been cast in stone yet but keep your fingers crossed and lets hope a deal gets done. It sure wouldn't hurt TNA right now they could use a influx of talent to juice up their shows right now.

Once again it comes down to money that TNA apparently doesn't have. Flying guys over from Japan I'm sure isn't cheap. Whereas Muta probably has start-up money and has a little more room to bring our guys over. Heck, who really knows TNA's situation. All I know is that they just cancelled the show they were scheduled to do here in Oregon next month. Two years ago they were here and drew a pretty good house. Why this was cancelled I don't know. Probably not enough advance ticket sales. Too expensive for them to come this far and not make money. Which comes back around to them bringing Japanese talent here. Will doing so make them enough to justify it? I doubt it...

Every working agreement TNA has with an international company ends up very, very badly. Muto really needs TNA's help because Wrestle-1 has 10 guys under contract and they can't depend on New Japan and NOAH to be there for them all the time. The only guys from TNA who are even useful given Wrestle-1's roster are Joe and Angle but TNA love Magnus so he'll probably tag along with Joe and ruin every match he's in.

It sounds like a good idea but seeing the lack of AAA talent that has been on Impact I would not hold my breath. Now as far as the money issue, if Muta has the money he could help cover the bill. It could be useful for him to have his guys get some TV exposure not to mention the name of his promotion. Especially now that TNA has signed a deal with, I think it is Sony 6, which will bring TNA programming to the Asian market.
