INT. OFFICE IN DRURY’S MANSION - DAY
We see SHAYNE prone of the floor, a soda next to him. Floating above him, a huge HoloVision screen that shows THE DOMINION walking through the crowds on CASTILEX at the end of their press conference. SHAYNE, smile on his face, makes a few gestures in the air and the HoloVision screen disappears. He grabs his soda and performs a flawless kip-up. He loudly slurps the remainder of his soda through a straw and then tosses the empty can into the room’s incinerator which kicks on and immediately breaks the can down into the its base mineral components. The whirring of the incinerator stops but the noise is immediately replaced by the hailing signal of a arriving transport beam.
SLY DRURY materializes out of thin air and stumbles sideways against the office wall. He is sweaty, out of breath. He holds the wall for support.
SHAYNE (Laughing): Shoot son, you look more ragged than a ten day mare.
SLY DRURY: We....we....we need to come up with a plan. We gotta get the rest of Martial Law together. Maybe make overtures to Commander Sam and Massif. They--
SHAYNE: Partner, you need to sit down.
SHAYNE crosses and leads the flustered DRURY to his office chair. SHAYNE sits him down and pats him on the shoulder.
SLY DRURY: We need to talk to the board! He can’t do this..
SHAYNE: Shhhhhhh. Easy now, easy. I know things are topsy-turvy as all get out but right now but it’s all going to be okay. At the present moment, there’s only one thing you need to do to set this right.
SLY DRURY, confused looks up at SHAYNE.
SLY DRURY: What’s that?
SHAYNE: You need to get in touch with Eydilon, and you need to tell him to book a match between me and Godsend. His title versus my title. No disqualifications. No count outs. Winner take all.
SLY DRURY: What?! No!
SHAYNE: Yes. The only way to fix things is to nip this in the bud right now.
SLY DRURY: But Godsend--
SHAYNE: Is nothing. I’m the GREATEST OF ALL TIME! (He chuckles.) If I can’t beat a god, what good am I using that moniker? Book the match!
SLY DRURY slumps back into his chair.

Commentary: Trent Lawless
Backstage/Ringside: Gryt
TRENT LAWLESS: Welcome fans to WINNER TAKE ALL. Experts are already predicting that this will indeed be the most watched GWF Event in the history of this or any universe! The Castilex Amphitheater is filled to capacity with fans from across the GALAXY! Gryt, it is so loud in here, I cannot hear myself think.
GRYT: Trent, you couldn’t hear yourself think in library! This event is unlike any other, in any part of the GALAXY! Two men, going head to head, with absolutely EVERYTHING on the line! GALAXIAN CHAMPION Shayne putting the title on the line against CASTILEX HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION Godsend.
TRENT LAWLESS: Self-proclaimed CASTILEX HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, Gryt.
GRYT: Semantics.
TRENT LAWLESS: Title versus title in a TITAN DEATH MATCH! A match so big, it’s the only match on the card!
GRYT: I promise you this Lawless, anyone not tuned in right now, anyone who plans on watching this later is, A) an idiot. And B) guaranteed to know the results the second that bell rings because this will shake the already shattered universe to its very foundations!
TRENT LAWLESS: Finally, we agree on something, Gryt!
GRYT: Don’t get used to it.
TRENT LAWLESS: Let’s take you now to an interview that Gryt conducted with GALAXIAN CHAMPION Shayne earlier today.
A GALAXY’S FINEST™ logo sweeps the screen and we are in the locker room of SHAYNE. The champion stands tall and proud with the title around his waist. SLY DRURY skulks behind him.
GRYT: Shayne, there has never been a bigger match than the one you wrestle in tonight.
SHAYNE (laughs): Son, you are about as obvious as bird sh*t on a fencepost. There ain’t never been a match this big but there ain’t never been a wrestler as big as The Real Ordeal, Shayne. You’ve seen it, the GALAXY has seen it, even the big man with the beard, GODSEND has seen it. I’ve taken on all comers. Aethran Overmaster. Beat him. Nosfera. Beat him. Current GWF Commissioner Eydilon. Beat him. Perfect Specimen. Beat his ass twice. I beat old Sly here didn’t I buddy? (SLY DRURY looks away.) Hell, I even beat the supposed ‘greatest of all time’ Monolith! There ain't no one bigger than me and that includes Godsend. This match is going to be short. It’s gonna be sweet. And when the dust settles, you’re going to see me standing in the middle of the ring with my arm raised and two titles around my waist. That’s an outcome you can bank on! Don’t do dope!
The GALAXY’S FINEST™ logo swoops across the screen and we are back in the broadcast booth.
TRENT LAWLESS: Confident as ever.
GRYT: Look, the guy has every right to be. He’s done all he just said. He has faced everybody and he has beaten them all.
TRENT LAWLESS: Except for Fist.
GRYT: I’d love to hear you say that to his face, Lawless.
TRENT LAWLESS: Right, well, Godsend for his part refused to be interviewed or send any sort of pre-taped promo. Eydilon simply said, “Promos are beneath a God."
GRYT: He’s got a point.
The GALAXY’S FINEST™ logo sweeps the screen again and we cut to outside the Amphitheater. There are tens of thousands of people outside on the grounds of the Amphitheater.
TRENT LAWLESS (VO): Look at that sea of people all eager to get a glimpse of the action.
GRYT (VO): You a little nervous that if this thing doesn’t go the way these people want, there could be riots?
TRENT LAWLESS: It’s certainly possible.
Slow dobro music begins playing and the crowd inside the Amphitheater lets out a roar. The GALAXY’S FINEST™ logo sweeps the screen again and we see SHAYNE headed to the ring. A smirk on his face. Some in the crowd cheer him. Many boo him. SHAYNE looks completely unaffected by all of it. He climbs into the ring, removes his duster and hands the GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP to the ref.
There is a pause. Then, many from CASTILEX begin an eerie sing-songy chant in a strange language. Suddenly, light flashes bright white in the sky and GODSEND’S face is seen in the clouds for a moment. Trumpets begin to blare and GODSEND’S entourage heads to the ring. The parade is at least fifty yards long. At the end of it, being born upon a litter is GODSEND. A PAIGE strides in front of the litter bearing the CASTILEX HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP. GODSEND is all smiles, waving to the people. Those from CASTILEX bow deeply as he passes. Their chanting continues for several minutes as GODSEND is delivered to the ring.
This whole time, SHAYNE shakes his head and smirks. Once GODSEND is in the ring, announcements are made.
ANNOUNCER: This is WINNER TAKE ALL! It is for both the CASTILEX HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP and the GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP. In this corner, the GALAXIAN CHAMPION Shayne!
The majority of the CROWD boos loudly. SHAYNE just smirks at stares daggers at GODSEND from across the ring.
ANNOUNCER: And in this corner, the CASTILEX HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION Godsend.
The CROWD goes nuts and the noise is deafening. The chanting begins again in earnest. GODSEND bows deeply. The ref calls for the bell and we are underway!
WINNER TAKE ALL
TITLE VS. TITLE
TITAN DEATH MATCH
SHAYNE takes the early offense, scoring a quick near fall against GODSEND with SHOWDOWN! GODSEND rolls out of the ring to regroup and clear his head but SHAYNE takes the fight right to him! The two brawl outside the ring and GODSEND flees back into the ring! As SHAYNE enters, GODSEND tried to sneak attack him, but SHAYNE ducks, hitting the God with Rustler’s Roundup! SHAYNE follows it up with EYE 4 EYE and covers him! 1...2...3!
Shayne d. Godsend via pinfall after EYE 4 EYE to become the NEW CASTILEX HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION - *****
The CROWD is nuts! The ref grabs both belts and hands them to SHAYNE! GODSEND is still out! A giant face appears in the clouds above the Amphitheater!
GODSEND: SHAYNE! YOU WILL RETURN THE CHAMPIONSHIP TO GODSEND NOW OR SUFFER MY WRATH!
SHAYNE looks up to the face in the clouds and hits a button oh his belt. A portal open behind him! He lifts two middle fingers to the sky and jumps backwards into the portal! The portal snaps shut as the face in the sky lets out a huge howl of rage!
Chaos and panic begin to run through the CROWD! The ground begins to shake.
TRANSMISSION CUTS.

Great new format with quick results. Storylines are great but sometimes just seeing how the cards are doing in action is even better. Already Lady Godsend with a big W over Elina and Sly takes out the new commissioner.

2134.353 - INVASION
01.14.2134 from Adonis Athletic Centre, Asteroid Belt- FADE IN -Outside the arena we see the ANIMEN cruiser land. A MESSENGER rushes out to greet it. The door slides open with a hiss and MONOLITH and CATFIGHT are the first to step out. The MESSENGER approaches MONOLITH.
MESSENGER: Monolith, um, sir, DARK MENACE has asked if it’s okay if he sends you a message.
MONOLITH completely ignores the MESSENGER and continues into the building. CATFIGHT does the same. MAGGIE lets out a loud roar and the MESSENGER high-tails it from the landing lot.Super Powers vs. Demon HuntersHelSin defeated Disciple of Theatre with a pinfall after a sitout spring facebuster Match Rating: 0.10 Match Notes: SUPER POWERS are just an absolute mess! They cannot function as a team at all. After the match, DISCIPLE OF THEATRE removed a glove and slapped MURTAK across the face with it! Then, nose in the air, stomped away from ringside with WIGGY. Perfect Specimen vs. Kill PreyPerfect Specimen defeated Kill Prey with a submission with superior shoulder wrench Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Super competitive meeting between these two. Would have been a big score for KILL PREY had he won, but PERFECT SPECIMEN gets the victory. Fans were super hot for this match. - THE CONQUERORS LOCKER ROOM -All the members of THE CONQUERORS are arguing and no single voice can be heard over the cacophony. This continues for a minute until THARKAS screams.
THARKAS: SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP YOU INGRATES!
There is silence.
THARKAS: PSI and I have a Main Event match tonight! We don’t have time for this bickering.
DISCIPLE OF THEATRE: Well, I shan’t entertain the thought of trodding the canvas with this...(he gestures at MURTAK)...cretin again. (He pronounces it like a-gain.)
PSI rubs his forehead. THARKAS sighs.
THARKAS: Fine, after tonight, you won’t have to.
DISCIPLE OF THEATRE: Thank you, sir.
DISCIPLE OF THEATRE bows deeply with a flourish and then holds out and arm for WIGGY who threads hers through his. They turn and exit the room.
PSI: Don’t suppose there’s any way we can find NOSFERA and get him to undo what he did to him?
THARKAS: No. Not tonight anyway. Let’s focus on FDF TRADITION.Monolith vs. Aethran OvermasterMonolith defeated Aethran Overmaster with a DQ after AETHRAN OVERMASTER piledrives MONOLITH on the arena floor. Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: With CROWD momentum spinning out of the previous match, this match was off the charts! Both men pulling out all the stop to attain victory! AETHRAN OVERMASTER reaches into the GLADIATOR Dirty Trick bag and gets a DQ loss. The two big men continue to tussle after the bell prompting security to return to break it up. CROWD is HOT! - TITAN DEATH MATCH -Sinful vs. ScornScorn defeated Sinful with a pinfall after A WOMAN SCORNED Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: SCORN gets the big victory in this early year feud with SINFUL. Great action! Big wins for MONOLITH, Scorn and FDF Tradition!
Question - I noticed A WOMAN SCORNED, ARMAMENT and PINNACLE OF SUCCESS are all pin fall finishers in your fed. Are these moves you personally changed from submission finishers or does this have something to do with how online spits out results?
Love the Tharkas stuff. It's great to see him lose after talking all that smack.
