How do you guys handle when one of your top stars starts the new year on a long losing streak
Running my Solar Heat PPV and Payback lost his 7th straight match
Haven't played the tag Team matches but The Stand can lose its 7th straight match since they started teaming

I'm kinda going through that with Monolith. I'm just letting it ride. For a team like The Stand, you could have some friction that has them getting more and more aggressive in the ring rather than taking it out on each other. Thier losses are more related to DQ than doing poorly in the match. Of course it may mean you have to alter the ending of the match so it is a DQ for entertainment reasons.

I say, have Payback take some time off. Say he's been wrestling injured from his own hardcore style. That way he can come back fresh and just not wither away on this losing streak. That's my two cents.

You could run the angle the Payback is suffering from emotional anguish, knowing that he wasn't there for Reckless when he needed it. Then set up enough time for him to get refocused to attack Tricks in an anything goes match.

You could say he also coming with a case of space tb or something like that.
Update: Payback just won his first match after going 0 for 7.

Space TB. I like it!
Payback's real hot and cold for me. He'll beat Endgame then lose to Gryt. Sly Drury has historically been my guy who couldn't get going, although with his new card he's doing a bit better. Tauran's in danger of not wrestling up to his potential for me, too. Normally I just keep them wrestling through it, although maybe in tag matches for some of their appearances.
