So many think that Chikara is dead or has closed its doors...I, for one, thought that too after the Aniversario ending and rumors persisting after that. Lo and behold, youtube clips, Vine snipets and other things began to pop up, maybe shedding some light on things that there could be a rebirth. There's been cryptic messages and such in various places and Chikara 101 messageboard has been buzzing with all different scenarios. Lately it's been Icarus that has been leading the rallies and the cause. The Wrestling Is promotions have been destroyed as of late. Wrestling Is Awesome shut down by Dr. Cube and his minions, stealing the gate money and taking their title belt...Gekido returned and destroyed Wrestling is Intense. Rumors have it that Sinn Bodi is making waves and is going to try and wipe out Wrestling is Art. It's being discussed that all of the Wrestling Is promotions will have to be destroyed and a new Chikara will rise from the ashes like a phoenix and have new life.
Take a step back before Aniversario. Chikara's season 12 took the theme from the Watchmen comic, naming their shows after it and things within it. Angles were taken from it as well, but you may not know all of that if you weren't keen on those things. Many call this the "darkest timeline" because of all the things that have been eluded to. There's a specific podcast that tries to shed light on these theories and it's a very good one.
