I purchased 2123 online yesterday and read some of the booklet. I have to say I'm really impressed, I take my hat of to Tom and anyone who was involved in masterminding the plot for 2123. Honestly it is top notch standard! In fact I've reconsidered my priorities. At first I was going to give more time to my LWF fed which I just started but now I'm going to go with the GWF. At least we will get regular editions and I like following the official storyline, for me it makes it more fun. I'm still on New Beginnings, I want to catch up in a hurry, what is the official amount of cards that make up a game year? Also, what suggestions do any of you have that would be the minimum amount of cards for a game year to allow a fair chance for storylines to build up and do each edition justice?
Thanks!

There is no official amount. I only play 2 cards per game month, one for rankings, one "PPV". This helps me stay current on the entire CotG world.

That sounds about right. I was thinking around 25 cards myself. The biggest problem I had the first time around was memorising who was fueding with who and when a little bit of time had passed I was sometimes forgeting what angles I was trying to set up. It's been so long since I played my last card it feels like I'm started from scratch so I need to research things a little again and read the booklet etc. This can take the sting out of trying to get stuck in and setting up cards and getting the momentum rolling again.

Yeah, two a month can work if you're pressed for time. Personally I wouldn't do any less than 50 per game year, which is what I'm doing with my Early Classics fed, just because one show a week seems like a fair schedule to get done. Here's hoping you catch up soon!

I usually do 3 a month. about 7 Matches per card. The first two at Holovision shows and then the last is a SUPERCARD where titles are defended and feuds are blown off. I'm going o start running my GWFZ at the same time and will have two GWFZ cards a month with the title being defended as a dark match at the GWF Supercard.

Thanks for the suggestions. I would prefer to have longer game years, I remember when I bought the original LOW 24 and I must have had over 70 cards before I used the Rematch guys. I think because I just matched people up on a regular basis there were so many great fueds and natural angles but with the GWF I just want to catch up as soon as possible but I don't want to rush things so quick that I don't enjoy and make the most of each set. I'll use 24 cards as a bench mark and may stretch it as it plays out, I'll probably stretch the game years the closer I get to Martial Law. Just a question, how often are GWF game editions released in a year, is it just the 1 or is it 2? I've been away and have lost track a bit.

Just one a year now, in July. aCe is in the spring, GWFZ (Promoter Madness) and POW are in the fall. Legends, whenever it happens.

I would really like to see POW reach online, I have read through and I do enjoy your ideas but I understand with the MMA side of things it would require a total rewiting of the online program. The once a year thing makes a lot of sense I guess in some ways, with the quality of the last handbook and the effort that went into it with story writing I'm hoping for the same next year maybe I can stretch the game years out a bit now.

POW still does have a wrestling component, so when that goes online, at least that part of it is possible within the program. I hope the MMA rules could be integrated eventually, too. All things in good time, I suppose.

I would love to see the regular POW wrestling cards online as soon as possible. Just 1 question, what is the difference between the 3 feds? I obviously have the GWF and it has a kind of Marvel comics meets wrestling feel to it, aCe seems a bit dark but I would be interested to know what it is really like, and POW seems more of a shoot style of wrestling, could anyone elaborate.
