Terrible worker, can't talk, has a huge ego given that he is only where he's at because he's British (TNA draws in England), 'looks good' and he's dating Mickie James. If those are the three reasons you give someone a world title, it's probably time to just close shop. It disgusts me that HE gets pushed but they let AJ Styles go and refused to even look at the American Wolves.

Dave Lagana probably thinks he's hot. Plus he's young, he's over in the UK and he's dating Mickie James who the company wants to resign. This is what's wrong with pro wrestling. and NOT Rob Terry even on Impact anymore ? . Probably because he was actually good. Magnus got it because UK tour going up soon . Even TNA puzzles me ? Pretty much he's a draw in the UK + he's all they have + Mickie James.

It's a business and if he's a draw in the UK and they are headed there then it seems like that's a good business move, at least in the short term.

Problem is, they only go to the UK for two or three weeks, then they come back here where nobody knows who he is. He's their long term top guy, they haven't really prepared anyone to challenge him except Gunner which is only a slightly better option from an in-ring perspective. It's like if WCW would have put the World Title on David Arquette in 2000 and wanted him to be the next top guy in WCW. Nobody cares about him except a small group of people who don't really mean much to the overall bottom line and you have nobody prepared to challenge him so you can attempt to make money.

They may just have him drop it the moment they come back. Not saying it's a good idea overall but to make money while in the UK, sure.

He's probably not dropping it before the summer at least.

Guaranteed he drops it soon after TNA comes back to the US. They do this every year. They convince everyone that they are changing things up and then they put the title back on someone who has already held the title dozens of times.
That said, this move probably makes more business sense than anything else they are doing right now. If a World Champ Magnus gets TNA any additional cash while in England then it's probably worth it to them.
