I play current GWF only. If this is something that gives me 4-6 GWF cards per year and the rest are LOW and Indy, I may pass. That's around $5-$7 per GWF card I'd have to print myself. As for holiday cards, if they're the campy Hanukkahlith type cards, I'll pass.
I feel that there's too much diversity between brands to make us all happy with this at that price point. At least amongst the GWF vs. LOW aspect of it. What I mean is I don't feel one brand of play should have to pay the price to get cards they don't use and then keep holding out for the following month or so to see their brand's card.
I'm not bashing this concept, I think it's great, but the way it is now would have to change if I'd shell out money for it being just a GWF player. Maybe the LOW/Indy people feel the same on their side with the GWF.

I feel the same way, Avarice. It needs separate packages.

Good luck with the daughter, Dustin. I'm sure this will be a feeling out. If there's enough interest, I could see them breaking it into smaller points. For me it doesn't matter, because I play everything if not regularly.

Maybe the LOW/Indy people feel the same on their side with the GWF. I can definitely see where you are coming from. I am a LOW only player. It seems to me that there are a lot of COTG only or LOW only players here. Maybe I am wrong but it seems like it is getting harder and harder for people to play both. There are just so many cards and different types of feds for people to play. I also don't use holiday cards, especially since they are always COTG related. I usually look at them once, chuckle and never go back again. I do play some online though so it isn't too big of a deal for me to print these cards off. I might or I might not. That said, I am totally behind this idea. I will definitely pay the $29 to at least give 2014 a chance. If at the end of the year I am not happy with what I have gotten it would be a tough sell for 2015. I would hope that there would be months where we would get both LOW and COTG cards. If this could ever get to the place where it was one LOW card per month I would find it worth while no matter who those cards were, even if some were alternate time period or alternate personality type cards. I'd even be fine to see really low level indy guys I'd never heard of. I just think if it could get to 12 LOW cards a year there could be so much potential with it. But at 6 I'm left wondering a bit. Still super excited to see it in action though. Was that post back and forth enough for ya'll?

I think it at least should be two cards, one for COTG and one for LOW/LOTF (Color).

I hear ya, Pike. I have no problem with doing my own printing. I was just saying I'd like more than just 3 or 4 current GWF cards to make it worth it for me. I wouldn't care what level (jobber, midcard, etc) they were, or even an update of existing. That coupled with the fact I don't want or need the LOW/Indy side if things. Just putting in my opinion whether it helps shape this project one way or other or not. I realize not all will be happy with everything, it's life.

the only thing they've said is at least one card. I'm sure we might get more than one sometimes especially if it's a tag team.
I'm sure once it's about to get released we'll get all the details.

Thanks everybody! We love the idea and thrilled it's getting so much attention!
At the moment it's geared to fans of all our games, there are a lot of those! We'll see how PROMOTER PRIME 2014 turns out and who knows what the concept will be next year! (Geez, thinking about 2015 already!) As always our goal is to please as many people as possible.
For now fans of online should be very pleased at the very least.
We've already started 2014 with a BANG! (Sorry for stealing that DDP!) This will be a year of new stuff and growth and hopefully we'll do the OLD stuff great too!
Onward Promoter soldiers...we conquer in the name of fun!

I'm sorry to say this but I really don't like this idea and it doesn't seem right to me. Why should I pay $29 a year when I have to do all the work? Who exactly is this money going to and why are they getting it?
I know that some people do all the card stuff online but it's not my thing. I like to receive the cards in my hand and paying money for a card that comes online and I have to print it off or I have to go somewhere to get it seems silly to me.
The game seems to be getting more and more expensive every year. I remember the "Glory Days" (sarcasm intended)when I would spend about $50 bucks on the game a year. I just put an order in last week that was 3 figures (not including cents) for cards that only came out in the last 4 months.
Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to be a troll and I've thought long and hard about posting this for a the last few days but I'm just not behind this idea. I just really always hated the idea of not being able to have a hard copy in my hand and it feels like I also have to do the work here.
Full disclosure I also do not have a working printer and have no idea how to print the game cards out or even what paper stock to use, this might make me old.
