Anyone have any random tag teams ?

I'm sure people do. I want to hear about them - as I think I am going to start a tag team division in my federation.

What was the team ? Did they have a special tag team name ? How did they do ?

How did they do?

Crusher and Gomez upset my tag champs Harley Race and Larry Hennig but lost their first defense to The Wild Samoans (Alofa and Samu). I don't do rematches to avoid flip-flopping titles between guys a million times.

And I don't generally give them names unless I'm inspired. I don't think EVERY team needs a name. I'm not selling T-Shirts! :-)

Off the top of my head, I've had Steve Williams & Erick Stevens, Rick Rude & Curt Hennig, and Rikidozan & Bryan Danielson as teams. No team names since I think they're unnecessary unless they have some tandem moves.

Where do I start?

I've got Beauty and The Beast (the team of Gorgeous George & Bruiser Brody) who just became my tag team champions.

I've also got the team of Pain & Suffering (Ox Baker & Necro Butcher) and they are on a tear through the division.

Another two that I have a lot of hope for are The Unusual Suspects (Delirious & Mimic) and The Young Guns (Tyler Black & Austin Aries).

There's a few more, not all of them named, though.

Sometimes I enjoy coming up with silly/catchy names for my teams.

Some teams I haven't come up with that magical name for them, yet.

Some teams just don't need to be named, though, I suppose.

Funny, I have a "Beauty and the Beast" team as well... but mine is made up of Adrian Street and The French Angel.

The very first year in my BCW fed, I teamed up Bobo Brazil and Red Bastien -- called them Team B. They ended up being the first holders of the BCW tag-team titles. Since then, among the unusual pairings, I've teamed up Bundy and Brody (tag champs once) as the Biggest Show on Earth, Danny Hodge and Yukon Eric as the Oilmen, and Mil Mascaras and the Destroyer as the Masked Marvels.
