A lot of vintage wrestlers: Gotch, Ed Lewis, Pesek, Severn, Muldoon. Others would be Crusher, Danielson, Brody, and Turk.

Gameplay wise I think the first Bryan Danielson is perfect. I love the Final Countdown mechanic. It makes the card feel special. I am a big fan of the mini charts on cards. I also have soft spot for all the 80s Legends. My mother bought me a giant dish in the early 80s that I would have to go outside and crank to change stations but because of that I was able to watch everything. WCCW WWF AWA Memphis and I was able to go to Mid-South shows live and the shows were on local stations. Looking back I was really lucky. So anytime we get a card from that era i love them. Plus the fact that we have Jushin and Tiger Mask cards blows my mind still

Hawk & Animal were two of the cards that really got me to buy the initial boxed set.
Mil Mascaras is someone who became an instant star for me in my fed and I always find myself cheering for him no matter who I have him wrestling against. No cheating though, just cheering.
Bruiser Brody had the most entertaining match I have ever rolled against Mil Mascaras so I have loved his card ever since.
DDP's signing was a big deal for me. DDP was one of my favorites of my personal favorite era of wrestling, the WCW side of the Monday Night Wars. Sometimes I wish his card was a little stronger but I love the "it can come from anywhere" mechanic for his Diamond Cutter.
LOW is what got me into vintage wrestling in a HUGE way so I love the Gotch, Hack, Muldoon, etc.
I've also always loved the artwork on Iron Sheik. The cross hatching / shading is just so well done.
just to name a few...

Argh... My brain just melted. I'll have to get back to you on that. Okay, better now. If we're just talking LOW (thinking of the indy stuff will cause another meltdown) here are a few: The first card I really liked was Giant Baba but I think I'm burned out on him. I like the first few LEs - Bob Orton Sr., Dick Hutton, Ilio DiPaolo. Johnny Valentine would be one as well as Jim Londos. Most of the top tier guys in the intro set - Bobo Brazil mainly. See how hard this is for me...

I'd put Ilio in my top 10......I have a ball with that guy. Hutton and Orton Sr. are fine but DiPaolo one of my favorites.

I loved Dick Hutton for a while. He never quite achieved what I had hoped but I had fun trying to push him for a title shot. He kept losing the big matches that would have put him against my champs.
I ran an angle for a while that Ted DiBiase was bankrolling his $1,000 challenge except (if I remember right) it was $10,000 since DiBiase was behind it. That angle worked really well. He was actually able to defend it for quite some time... especially with Virgil in his corner.

That's cool. I make a habit of liking oddball stuff. Orton, Sr. has been the source of some of the bloodiest, most violent matches in my fed. The dice just want him to brutalize people. Ilio on the other hand tends to get murdered but it suits how I'm using him (underdog against Brody and the Sheik) Hutton is in a successful tag team with Cowboy Bob Orton and I like his card.

Ilio DiPaolo has had an interesting run for me, as well.
Really, if I absolutely HAD to pick... you know, with a gun to my head... I don't think I could really only pick just two cards.
If I'm being honest.
