When running a Fed that Uses wrestlers from different promotions or sets, where a particular wrestler may have multiple options available (Say Delirious or Chuck Taylor). Do you play with the version you feel is the best, the version that fits the feel of the fed you are putting together or generally stick with a core set and then add wrestlers in from other sets when you want to shake things up?
I ask because I was planning on doing a King of Trios Mega card using wrestlers from most of the "current" promotion sets and the new Evolve when it comes out. And realized there were some wrestlers who had different cards to choose from.
Opinions?

In this case I would use the Chikara version of a guy if its available, since this is a Chikara tournament. For guys outside the promotion, I would probably just use the most recent one, unless there was a group a guy fit in better with given a certain gimmick on an older card.

I use the one I like the best, regardless of it is the "best" card or not. Also depends on how I want the wrestler to perform. If I want superstar Claudio Castagnoli I'll use his Chikara card, if I want a more tag team oriented Claudio it's the new ROH card, and if I want him to be lower on the card I'd use the original black and white card.
