Franco Questions

My Live draft group is getting fed up with Franco's Video replay (when a male fighter loses). I would too... but Franco is the manager for my stable. (I've gotten into the habit of calling out "Franco Says" as I roll ala "Survey Says" from Family Feud)

So there are questions about Franco's
Is it repeatable? (Can Franco restart the match several times?)
Does it take from Manager Interference or Distactions in a match?

I consider it like this:

It is usable only once in a match. Anything more than that really imbalances the ability. Also, that it does not take from Manager Interference. I look at it as a "last chance" for his fighter to make a comeback.

I would wait for Mark's ruling on this one though as it is his design.

Actually, I have repeated it in the past, since with the roll of 6-9 (I think?) to make the outcome stand, the odds are decent that the second time around the roll will fall in one of those areas. I've never had to use it more than twice, though.

If you feel it gives Franco's fighters too much of an edge in your fed, then go ahead and only use it once. It hasn't gone that way for me, personally, though.

As to the second question, I consider it in place of his manager interference, but not in place of the distractor. The language of the ruling allows for all three to be used in one match, though.

That's a HUGE change for our league. We actually brought up the possibility of using it as manager interference, but we figured that since it was after the match, it shouldn't count... but then again, why should he get interference and a really good special match ability.

Is it possible to start a FAQ about specific characters and/or rules on the website or at least on the forums... like a sticky note that will always show up on the top of each forum? Simple rule questions like the one I've been getting wrong for years (found out at Galacticon not rolling on a chart when you get a (c) means you drop down a level, not just reroll and take the best result on the current level) or questions that come up about Barnabas, Franco, etc

Well, like I said, you can certainly use all three of those options in a match, because it's written to leave that option open. I might have to try it a couple times to see if it makes a difference.

Stickies for FAQs would be nice, yes.
