What is the better Starter? The Champions of the Galaxy – ORIGINAL Starter Box with the Color Cards? Or the NEW BEGINNING Starter Box Set? Or the ORIGINAL Starter Box Set? What are the differences between them? I have collected pretty much everything in LoW, and am ready to move onto CotG

I would start with New Beginnings to stay current, then start with the Original set (I have the old black and white cards), as you can take your time building your fed up to New Beginnings. I restarted my fed and I'm doing it this way and having a blast with it!

Do the two Originals sets have the same cards? Just one is color and one is not?

Tom put out the color set last year as celebration of the original set. I think there are minor tweaks to the backs to bring them up to current game rules.
But if I may, I would like to way in on what I think you might want to consider. If you are a stat guy with a flavor for history, then I would say take it all the way from the beginnig, if you can get some of the L-FSE and the set that filled in for the old classics, I would start there. I know it may seem dauting to start way back form the beginning, but you get to make your own fed history, with as much color and story as you want. But if you want to just play and be current. The New Beginings is a perfect place for you..though I have my speculation that Tom is going to restart us all again after Black Death. Either way you go, you will have tons of fun, I recommend reading a bunch of COTG feds and see what appeals to you. Avarice runs a modern fed and it is brilliant. There are a few folks that have fed from all over the timeline, check them out, see what makes your juices flow and there you go. Jump in at that point. That's my two cents, hope I helped ya.

It's up to you. Start at 2119, go back to 2087, the sets go by year.

Are the CotG Originals Packs the same cards as the Original Starter Box with the color cards? I don't want to buy the same things twice
