Congrats to NEW Chikara Grand Champion Icarus. Didn't see it, but just read the results. Saw that the estimated crowd was between 1000-1500 people. Definitely getting ready for the new cards, though I'm crushed we're not getting the Colony Xtreme Force :-(

They can't all come at once. Looking at the show, there's a ton of cards I look forward to seeing hopefully.

At the risk of offending my fellow promoters, would have rather seen the Colony than the Baltic Siege. Sinn Boddhi also near the top of my Chikara want list. And who is Nokken??? Could have swore I read the other day that that was Tursas' new gimmick, but the results I read had the BDK as Ares, Tursas and Nokken?

They said Nokken was Tursas 2.0 not Tursas himself. And while the Colony would be good to have, it was clear that one set was heels and one set was faces and the new Colony are heels.

Definitely getting ready for the new cards, though I'm crushed we're not getting the Colony Xtreme Force :-( Only had room for 12 cards, 6 Tecnico, 6 Rudo. DC was long overdue so it made sense to include the entire Wrecking Crew. There was only 1 slot in the Ashes set that was really up in the air so to speak (Shynron). Also, keep in mind that Quack has a say in who gets cards and who doesn't.

Just finished watching the replay of the show. It was very enjoyable.
Favorite match was the 4 man tag team elimination. The delayed superplex hit by Touchdown was fantastic. Least favorite was Jimmy Jacobs vs. Archibald Peck. How do you hit 10 consecutive DDTs and not get a three count?
Icarus went over in the final but too many blown spots and a sloppy attempt at the finish didn't help matters. Post-Match The Flood hit the ring and brawled with the heroes. Kobald was apparently "killed" by a chokebreaker delivered by yet another mystery man in a mask.
Good start. Welcome back.

This was an awesome event to see live. The crowd was HOT the whole night.
Some great parts included: - The debuting Smooth Sailing Ashley Remington, who beat Chuck Taylor and gave him a complimentary fruit basket - Mike Quackenbush being introduced as the New Director of Fun - The Colony getting back the King of Trios medals from The Colony Xtreme Force - Just when it seemed over The Flood came out and unhooded Delirious and Soilder Ant as members of their army
Plus of course there is the announcement of the return of King of Trios September 19-21. I'll be there for sure!

I've seen him wrestle live a couple times under a different name (and vastly different gimmick). He's a lot of fun.

The Goblin "died" just as was starting to watch and listen to him. I really enjoyed his surprise appearance on The View. So "Sad"
