Ring of Honor Television Taping: 6/7/2014

Episode #1
Kevin Kelly and Steve Corino are introduced as the commentators for the show. Suddenly Corino gets blindsided by Ultramantis Black. UMB hits a Praying Mantis Bomb on Corino and orders Kelly off the stage. UMB gets on the mic and says that it's time Ring of Honor had an announce team it could be proud of. He introduces his co-host Dave Prazak. Prazak and UMB take their place at the announce table.
Jay Lethal d. QT Marshall w/ the Lethal Injection reDRagon d. BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs w/ Chasing the Dragon
The American Wolves come down to the ring and a stare down follows. They get up right in each other's faces and the silence is broken when Fish slaps Edwards right in the face. It's on as Richards tackles O'Reilly and starts punching him right in the face and Fish and Edwards spill out of the ring. Fish and Edwards brawl around the ring as Richards continues to punch O'Reilly. Fish slams Edwards into the ring stairs and then into the guard rail. Security pours out from the back and pulls all 4 men apart. O'Reilly is visibly bleeding from his lip as he's being dragged to the back.
Main Event: Roderick Strong d. Jay Briscoe w/ the Strong Hold
BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs come down to the ring after the match. They set up a table and then powerbomb Jay Briscoe right through the table.
Episode #2:
Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish come out to the ring at the start of the show. O'Reilly calls the American Wolves a thing of the past. Tonight he and Fish are going to prove that reDRagon is the elite tag team in Ring of Honor today.
Rhino d. Benny Blades w/ the Gore!
Jay and Mark Briscoe are backstage. Jay Briscoe tells Strong and his goons that they messed with the wrong guy last week.
Main Event: American Wolves d. reDRagon w/ the Die Hard
Edwards and Richards offer reDRagon a handshake after the match and both get a slap to the face for their troubles. Both teams brawl as the show goes off the air.
Episode #3:
RoH President Cary Silken opens the show and announces that Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish have both been fined $500 for breaking the Code of Honor after last week's main event. A pissed off Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish storm down to the ring and get right in the face of Silken. Silken tells them that his decision stands and if they touch him then they'll be suspended without pay for 6 months. Silken leaves the ring while O'Reilly and Fish storm around the ring and throw a tantrum.
Young Bucks d. C&C Wrestle Factory by DQ
BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs are walking backstage when they get jumped by the Briscoe Brothers. The Briscoes slam them into tables and drag them through the backstage area slamming them into various things. Security arrives and breaks things up.
AJ Styles d. QT Marshall w/ the Styles Clash
Roderick Strong comes out and interrupts Styles celebration. He wants to know why Styles was too good for RoH for so many years but suddenly when he's old and no one wants him that RoH is suddenly the place to be again. He's giving Styles a fair warning. He can leave RoH now with no trouble but if he stays then he's fair game for the Decade to take out.
Main Event: Tommaso Ciampa d. Jay Lethal w/ a twisting neckbreaker
Episode #4:
Dave Prazak and UMB are taking their seats at the announce table when Steve Corino appears. He challenges UMB to face him in a match next week. Winner gets the announce table. UMB agrees to this challenge.
reDRagon d. Northstar Express w/ Chasing the Dragon
AJ Styles is backstage. He's not afraid of threats from a guy like Roderick Strong. He's wrestled against the best the world has to offer and has beaten them all. Roderick Strong, BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs don't scare him. He tells them to bring it on.
Mike Bennett d. TJ Perkins w/ the Photo Finish
Main Event: Tag Team Elimination Match: Briscoe Brothers d. Young Bucks by DQ BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs d. Briscoe Brothers by DQ American Wolves d. BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs w/ a belly to back sit-out facebuster
The Briscoes were disqualified for beating Whitmer and Jacobs absolutely senseless with chairs at ringside. After the match ended Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish jumped the American Wolves. O'Reilly locked in the Guillotine Choke on Edwards while Fish choked out Richards on the ropes.

4 Man Elimination Match: TJ Perkins d. Matt Taven w/ an arm trap Boston crab Adam Cole d. TJ Perkins w/ the Flying Crossbody Jay Lethal d. Adam Cole w/ the Lethal Injection
Adam Cole attacks Lethal after the match. He hits Lethal with a superkick and then a German suplex. Adam Cole celebrates like he just won the match to a mountain of boos.
Rhino d. Worker Ant w/ the Gore!
The Truth Martini tells the fans in attendance that they're looking at the next RoH World Champion. No one in that tournament can beat Rhino. No one!
Mike Bennett d. Colt Cabana w/ the Box Office Smash Irish Airborne d. Young Bucks w/ the Head and Arm Trap DDT
RoH President Cary Silken comes out with the RoH World Title. He reminds the fans that the 16 man tournament will be going down on July 4th in Philadelphia, PA. There's going to be great talents in the tournament like Jushin "Thunder" Liger, AJ Styles, Kevin Steen and El Generico.
Michael Elgin d. Tommaso Ciampa w/ the Spinning Sit-Out Powerbomb BJ Whitmer, Jimmy Jacobs and Roderick Strong d. AJ Styles and the Briscoe Brothers w/ a roll up
Jay and Mark Briscoe grab chairs and start smashing members of the Decade with them. BJ Whitmer gets a Doomsday Device. They level Jacobs with a lariat and then hit a Doomsday Device on him. They corner Roderick Strong but they're just distracting him so that AJ Styles can catch him with a Pele Kick. AJ Styles then hits the Styles Clash on Strong. AJ Styles and the Briscoes stand tall in the middle of the ring.
Main Event: American Wolves d. reDRagon w/ the Die Hard
Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards offer hand shakes after the match and Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish just exit the ring instead.

Firstly, great move taking Kelly and Corino off commentary. They are atrocious!
Really looking forward to both tournaments, the fields are stacked!

I knew I wanted Ultramantis Black doing color commentary. I did struggle with who the play by play guy would be before settling on bringing Prazak back. I can't stand Kelly and Corino on commentary.

Ring of Honor makes it's long awaited return to the city of Boston with 8 exciting matches featuring Ring of Honor stand outs. AJ Styles will face Jimmy Jacobs in the main event. The Decade has marked AJ Styles for destruction but the man that's held three different World Titles has other plans.
The feud between the American Wolves and reDRagon heats up as Davey Richards and Kyle O'Reilly face off. The former friends and training partners won't be pulling any punches here. Will the teacher prevail and will the pupil unseat his former mentor?

Proving Grounds: Shane Hollister d. Sugar Dunkerton w/ the Buzzsaw Kick
RoH President Cary Silken comes out and tells Shane Hollister and a bloody Sugar Dunkerton to come back to the ring. He's seen few men put so much on the line in the middle of this ring. It's his pleasure to offer both men Ring of Honor contracts.
2 Cold Scorpio d. Rhett Titus w/ the Scorpio Splash
Adam Cole is backstage. It felt so good to leave that chump Jay Lethal laid out in the middle of the ring Sunday night. Like he always says, there are no friends in professional wrestling. He has his eyes on the ultimate prize and he will do whatever it takes to have that title belt around his waist on the 4th of July.

Austin Aries is stomping around the backstage area. He notices the cameraman and stops him. He starts ranting into the camera about the World Title tournament. He wants to know how the only 2x RoH World Champion wasn't included in this tournament. This kind of snub won't go unpunished. He tells every participant in the tournament that they have a target on their backs from now on.
Boston Street Fight: Necro Butcher d. Delirious w/ Choose Death
Davey Richards d. Kyle O'Reilly w/ a multiple suplex assault
Davey Richards locks in a guillotine choke on O'Reilly. He releases the hold once O'Reilly is out cold. Richards sarcastically grabs his hand and shakes it before exiting the ring.
Main Event: AJ Styles d. Jimmy Jacobs w/ the Styles Clash
Roderick Strong and BJ Whitmer attack after the match. Styles briefly fights them off but the numbers are too great. Strong hits the Gibson Driver and then locks in the Strong Hold. Strong refuses to break the hold as more referees and RoH officials flood the ringside area. Finally Jay and Mark Briscoe hit the ring with chairs and the Decade retreats. The Briscoes stare down the Decade as the show comes to a close.

Ring of Honor comes to Detroit, MI this Friday!
There's an action packed card featuring the biggest stars in wrestling today. Things are heating up as the tournaments for the World Title and Tag Team Titles approach.
In the main event the American Wolves square off with the Briscoe Brothers. Both teams are considered strong favorites to win the Tag Team Titles. Will Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards continue their undefeated streak in Ring of Honor or will they be just another victim to the Briscoe Brother tag team dynasty?
Dragon Gate USA is in the house! Johnny Gargano is bringing the Open the Freedom Gate Championship to RoH and he's putting the belt on the line against none other than RoH Legend Homicide. This one is sure to be a battle for the ages!

Proving Grounds: Marshe Rockett d. Biff Busick w/ the M-80
Rhino d. TJ Perkins w/ the Gore!
TJ Perkins had Rhino down and was going for the Detonation Kick when Biff Busick jumped on the apron. TJ Perkins caught him with a superkick but turned and got caught with the Gore! and pinned. Busick climbs back onto the apron holding his jaw when Truth Martini walks over, raises his hand and points at him. Biff Busick is the newest member of the House of Truth. Busick puts a few boots to the fallen TJP before heading to the back.
reDRagon d. Shane Hollister and Sugar Dunkerton w/ the Fish Hook Austin Aries d. QT Marshall w/ the 450 Splash
Austin Aries grabs the house mic. He says that he's no leaving this ring until he gets some answers from RoH President Cary Silken about why he wasn't included in the RoH World Title Tournament. Aries grabs a chair and sits in the middle of the ring. 3.0 come out for their match and argue with Aries for a couple of minutes. They turn to talk to an official and Aries blindsides both of them. Aries pummels both of them with boots and forearms. He hits the Brainbuster on Scott Parker and tosses him out of the ring. He hits the Brainbuster on Shane Matthews and then hits the 450 Splash off the top rope. BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs come out for their match cautiously. Aries hops out of the ring, says 3.0 is all theirs and then walks to the back.
BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs d. 3.0 w/ the Railroad Spike
Jay Lethal is backstage. If there's one thing that bothers him in wrestling it's a sore loser. He's lost his fair share of matches over the years and he's never acted like that afterwards. Cole showed his lack of character with that attack. Jay says his ultimate revenge will be winning the RoH World Title and showing that he's the better man.
Four Corner Elimination Match: Irish Airborne d. Backseat Boyz w/ the Suicide Irish Airborne d. Bravado Brothers w/ the Irish Air Raid Young Bucks d. Irish Airborne w/ More Bang For Your Buck
The Decade are backstage. Roderick Strong explains that the Decade is out to take out stars that left Ring of Honor for bigger and better things and then came crawling back when things didn't work out for him. He calls them phonies and not loyal to a great company like Ring of Honor. The Decade has a top 5 list of targets in Ring of Honor. They are as follows:

Open The Freedom Gate Match: Johnny Gargano (c) d. Homicide w/ a roll up

The Kings of Wrestling appear at the entrance after the match. Castagnoli has a mic. He mock claps and says it was fun watching the Briscoes and Wolves fighting over who's going to be runner up in the Ring of Honor tag team division. Jay Briscoe grabs a mic. He says there's been a long standing tradition in Ring of Honor known as the Round Robin Challenge. He thinks that it should be the Briscoes vs. American Wolves vs. Kings of Wrestling. He also thinks that the #1 seed in the tournament should be on the line.

Ring of Honor comes to Elizabeth, NJ this Saturday night and the #1 seed in the RoH Tag Team Title Tournament is on the line!
That's right, it's a Round Robin Challenge as the Briscoes, Kings of Wrestling and American Wolves will be battling it out for tag team dominance. The #1 seed in the tag team tournament is a big deal for the winner of this tournament. That means an easier first round match up for the winner of this challenge. It's also a huge boost of momentum as the winner will have wins over two other huge favorites in the tournament. Who's going to come out of this one on top?
Ricochet is making his RoH debut and he'll be taking on the newest House of Truth member Biff Busick. Both men are looking for their first win in Ring of Honor. Who's going to start their climb to singles glory in RoH?
Outlaw Inc. will be taking on the Backseat Boyz in tag team action. Both teams are looking to head into the RoH Tag Team Title tournament with a nice win over another tournament caliber team. Who's going to come out on top in this one.
Erick Stevens will face off with Matt Taven in singles action. Taven spoiled Jigsaw's big RoH debut and he's looking to do the same to Erick Stevens in this one. Can Taven rack up another win against another RoH newcomer?
El Generico will be in action against BJ Whitmer. The Decade are always after stars returning to Ring of Honor. El Generico is a prime target for their abuse in this one. Will the Decade add another victim to their list or will El Generico come out the victory.
Delirious takes on Shane Hollister in singles action. The wild man is going to be in the building and he's got his eyes on RoH newcomer Shane Hollister. People think Hollister isn't ready for the onslaught of the wild and crazy Delirious. Hollister has told people that he's going to surprise everyone in this match. Who's going to come out on top?
