Open the Freedom Gate Champion Johnny Gargano is backstage. He refers to himself as the hottest property in wrestling today. He has orders from the Dragon Gate offices to put the belt on the line against all comers in Ring of Honor. Gargano issues an open challenge to anyone in RoH that thinks they can take the belt from him.
El Generico d. BJ Whitmer w/ the BRAINBUSTAAAHHH!!!
Jimmy Jacobs blindsided El Generico after the match. He put the boots to Generico until Roderick Strong came out and applied the Strong Hold. Several referees and RoH officials come into the ring but he refuses to break the hold. AJ Styles runs out and climbs to the top rope. He takes out Whitmer and Jacobs with a cross body block. Styles then kicks Strong right to the back of the head. Styles grabs Strong and goes for the Styles Clash but Whitmer blindsides him with a forearm. Whitmer hits a Wrist Clutch Exploder and Jacobs starts choking Styles. Jay and Mark Briscoe hit the ring and start brawling with Whitmer and Jacobs. Whitmer and Jacobs finally bail out of the ring. The Decade head towards to the back as Roderick Strong trash talks everyone in the ring.
Matt Taven d. Erick Stevens w/ the Arm Trap Headlock Driver
The Kings of Wrestling come out for their match. Claudio Castagnoli grabs the mic. He's tired of hearing about the Briscoe Brothers and the American Wolves. Sure, they've been successful in RoH but no one has the level of success that the Kings of Wrestling have had. You want to talk about championships, the Kings of Wrestling have more titles than they can count. Tonight is going to be a nice preview of what the tag team tournament will be like.
Kings of Wrestling d. American Wolves w/ the Ricola Bomb
reDRagon are backstage. Kyle O'Reilly says that they have no respect for the American Wolves. That's why they refuse to shake the hands of Richards or Edwards. Fish says that it will be a pleasure to win the tag team titles and lord that victory over the Wolves.
Outlaw Inc. d. Backseat Boyz w/ the Backfist to the Future
Ricochet d. Biff Busick by DQ
The referee called for the DQ when Busick kept hitting Ricochet with chairs and items around the ring. Busick continued the assault after the match until TJ Perkins ran out. Perkins caught Busick with a super kick and then rolled Ricochet into the ring. TJP got in the ring and fended off Busick until Truth Martini decided it was time to retreat.

Nice to see someone else using that TJ Perkins card MT and I put together! Looks like he and Ricochet might have a feud brewing with the HOT. I like what you're doing with The Decade as well.

That TJ Perkins card just brings something to the bottom half of the card that no other card brings.
The Decade is my favorite thing about Ring of Honor right now. I want them to be a group that's just in everyone's face constantly.

Ring of Honor News Wire: 6/22/2014
This coming Friday, we're going to be running a special event to test out the servers before the big double iPPV on the 4th of July weekend. Ring of Honor will be broadcasting live from Indianapolis, IN and you can watch the show for $1,99.
The show is going to feature 4 matches and will last for about 45 minutes.
Johnny Gargano puts the Open the Freedom Gate belt on the line against Rhett Titus. Gargano has promised to put the belt on the line against any and all comers and this is a great example of being a fighting champion. Rhett Titus is looking to shake his label of being a tag team specialist here by winning one of the biggest titles in wrestling today. Who will come out on top?
AJ Styles and El Generico form a dream tag team as they take on BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs. Both men fell victim to a beating from the Decade at the last show. Now it's time for them to get some payback!
Ricochet and TJ Perkins will team together to take on House of Truth members Biff Busick and Matt Taven. Ricochet and TJP have both had their issues with the HOT and now they get a chance at some payback. Can they overcome the numbers in this one?
Mike Bennett takes on ACH. Bennett is looking to continue his climb up the RoH ranks and young lion ACH is standing in his way. Can ACH end the hot streak of Bennett?
Show starts at 8 pm.

Ring of Honor iPPV: 6/27/2014
live from Indianapolis, IN
Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly come down to the ring during the dark match portion of the show. Fish gets on the mic and wants to know why they were fined for refusing to shake Edwards and Richards hands at the tv taping but Richards doesn't get any sort of fine for choking out O'Reilly after a match. O'Reilly gets on the mic and says that they aren't leaving this ring until they get some answers. The Northstar Express come out for their match with the Tribe and want reDRagon to leave the ring but Fish and O'Reilly attack them. They hit suplexes on Cruz and Corbin and then toss them out of the ring. The Tribe come out next and they demand to know why reDRagon just messed with their match. Fish and O'Reilly go for the attack again but this time the Tribe fights back. A referee comes out and starts up a match just as the iPPV is starting.

The Tribe hit the Reservation Devastation on Bobby Fish so O'Reilly pulled the referee out of the ring and punched him right in the face. Both teams continued brawling until the referee recovered and called for the DQ. The Tribe and reDRagon continued to brawl until security came out and broke things up.

Ricochet and TJ Perkins d. Biff Busick and Matt Taven w/ the 630 Senton
Ricochet and TJP were celebrating in the ring when Rhino attacked. He surprised TJP with the GORE! and then started pummeling Ricochet in the corner. Suddenly, Rich Swann came out of the crowd. He climbed in the ring and taunted Rhino into a charge. Swann ducked the clothesline and caught Rhino with a kick to the head. Swann then dumped Rhino out of the ring and hit a big dive on him out of the ring. The crowd started chanting Rich Swann's name.

Swann: Last week, my good buddy Ricochet gave me a call and told me that he might need some backup in Indianapolis. I gladly agreed to help and when I got there, who did I see but the Rhino. The man that ruled ECW, WWE and TNA rings for almost a decade. The man that Paul Heyman dubbed the Man-Beast. I soundly put my boot right upside your head Rhino and then I put you on your ass outside of the ring. You see, we're not afraid of you or the House of Truth Rhino. Ricochet and I... we're blood brothers. We've traveled the roads of the United States together, we've explored Japan together. Our bond has been forged by years of coming up the ranks together. What do you have around you Rhino? A bunch of hired guns that are just here for a paycheck. You might want to think about that before you take things any further.
Ricochet: And not to change the subject but Johnny Gargano, that's my belt you're holding right now. So name a time and a place and let's take care of some business.

Aries: I wanted to talk about my Ring of Honor career a little bit today. Do you realize that I'm the man that ended Samoa Joe's 645 day reign as the World Champion? Do you realize that I'm the only 2x Ring of Honor World Champion in the companies entire 12 year history? Do you also realize that only Samoa Joe, Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuinness have held the Ring of Honor World Title for more days than I have? By my count that makes me a top 5 all time performer in the 12 year history of Ring of Honor. I don't see how you can argue otherwise when looking at those credentials. I'm not even bringing up my TNA Triple Crown status for this argument. But my point is, look at those credentials and then tell me why I don't have a spot in the Ring of Honor World Title Tournament. Jushin Liger has wrestled less than 10 matches for Ring of Honor and he's got an invite. It's a slap in the face to have such a highly decorated company veteran like me on the outside looking in for that tournament. This isn't over, my presence will be felt one way or another...

Kevin Steen is in a booth at his favorite local pizza shop.
Steen: I've kept pretty quiet about this World Title tournament. I've seen a lot of guys running their mouths about how they're going to do this and that in the tournament. Well, I'm not impressed. How many of those guys have been the man everywhere they've gone. Not many that I can see. On July 4th it's just a no brainer. Kevin Steen is going to be your next RoH World Champion.
Steen takes a big bite out of a slice of pizza as the promo fades to black.
The scene shifts to Jushin Liger arriving at the airport in the United States. He walks out with his bags and gets into a taxi cab. It's noted that he'll be facing Tommaso Ciampa in the first round of the tournament.
