Biff Busick over Johnny Gargano for the Open the Freedom Gate title was huge. What a comeback for Busick after his slow start and winning championship gold was icing on the cake. Too bad he got assaulted post-match but Ronin will have to pay for it with Gargano having to defend the tag belts by himself at Evolve 19. It was cool to see Jigsaw-N-The Shard win the tournament and a chance to get contracts in Evolve. I'm looking forward to seeing if Ethan Page can get his second win at Evolve 19.

History was made at Evolve 19 with Anthony Nese winning the gold from AR Fox as well as Johnny Gargano looking strong in retaining the tag titles by himself against the Inner City Machine Guns. I thought for sure that the ICMG were taking the gold there. I liked the debut of Kimber Lee with Midnight University and it will be pretty interesting to see how her and Su Young deal with each other. Great action as always Crimson.

I liked the debut of Kimber Lee with Midnight University and it will be pretty interesting to see how her and Su Young deal with each other. Great action as always Crimson. Thanks Crue. The last two cards for sure changed the singles title scene with Busick & Nese defeating the champions in their fifth defense. History was made by Nese who is the first Style Battle winner to win the EVOLVE Title by way of winning the tournament and then beating the same opponent (Drew Gulak) from the Style Battle Tournament to get the title shot. What I was waiting for is to see both Fox & Gargano moved down the ladder of the rankings, plus Gargano really had ICMG's number and it was fun having him retain on his own. Lee is a good addition and it'll be fun to see how she add's to M.U. from here on out...
