Elimination Match - Adam Cole (CZW) v. Drake Younger v. Mikey O’Shea v. Mike Bennett w/Maria & Brutal Bob
The fans had lots to see both in and out of the ring in the opening contest. Younger and O’Shea start the contest off while Cole and Bennett seem more than content just to watch from the apron. O’Shea nearly kills Younger with back to back to back IRISH CAR BOMBS but Younger just keeps kicking out. Cole is blind tagged in by Younger and battles against O’Shea. Cole and Bennett seem ready to work as a team with their tags. O’Shea and Bennett go to the floor. Brutal Bob gets involved in the action with some stomps and the referee makes a quick decision to disqualify Bennett. The Prodigy cannot believe it but he is the first elimination. Cole tries to take advantage of a dazed O’Shea to start the next fall but cannot get the job down. All three men tag in and out of the action with no clear advantage. O’Shea ends up on the floor and Cole dives onto him at ringside. Cole regains the ring at the count of eight and O’Shea cannot beat the ten count and is eliminated. Cole and Younger trade holds and counters in a surprising clean display of wrestling. Things pick up when Younger avoids a superkick and connects with a right hook. It is back and forth and Younger stops Cole in his tracks with a head butt and then plants his opponent with DRAKE’S LANDING for the win (Cat’s Eyes!). After the match Cole is not pleased and attacks Younger from behind. Suddenly Bennett returns to the ring and joins in the attack but O’Shea is back as well evening up the sides. We have a tag team battle. Security arrives to break things up. **
Young Bucks (Nick and Matt Jackson) v. The After Party (Rhett Titus & Johnny Goodtime)
The fans are really psyched for this one and the pace is excellent from the opening bell. Both teams are able to make defensive tags to keep the momentum going back and forth. The Jackson Brothers cut off Titus from this corner but Titus rolls clear of Matt Jackson’s MOONSAULT and then tags in Goodtime who lands a TOP ROPE KNEE DROP for the three count (cat’s eyes!). The Bucks are not pleased and tell the official that Jackson had his shoulder up at three but the decision stands and the After Party have a big win. *
Alpha Female Match – Sara Del Rey v. Dazee Haze
These two competitors know each other from being both opponents and partners in the past. The story in this one was Del Rey using her power to push Haze around with Haze getting the occasional offensive burst in. Del Rey’s back to back release German suplexes rocks the fans and takes their toll on Haze. Haze survives a ROYAL BUTTERFLY but Del Rey lands a deathjump smash followed by another ROYAL BUTTERFLY to complete the one sided win. **
Zero Gravity Title Gauntlet - Mike Quackenbush (ch) v. Joey Ryan v. 2 Cold Scorpio v. Dasher Hatfield v. Drew Gulak
Dasher Hatfield and Drew Gulak start the gauntlet off at a quick pace that seems to favour Hatfield. Gulak really struggles to get anything going but manages to kick out after a GRANDSLAM. A Suicide Squeeze forces the action to the floor where an Underhanded Pitch leads to Gulak being counted out of the ring. 2 Cold Scorpio is in the ring next and the fall starts with a handshake. Hatfield keeps his momentum going and a run the bases corner smash gets a huge pop and sends Scorpio to the floor. Hatfield comes outside as well and Scorpio arms himself with a chair. They struggle over the weapon and Hatfield gets the upper hand and cracks his opponent with the chair. The bell sounds and Hatfield is out of contention via disqualification. Joey Ryan is out to huge heat and attempts to get the advantage against Scorpio. However, the veteran has other ideas and dominates the fall. Ryan proves had to beat and manages to kick out after a SCORPIO SPLASH and a perfect looking moonsault as well. Ryan does get the occasional offensive run in as the match progressed. The action went to the floor and Scorpio nailed him with a slingshot planch at ringside. Both men go down in a heap but Scorpio manages to beat the ten count back into the ring but Ryan is counted out. The Champion Mike Quackenbush is out for the final fall and the fans are wondering how much does Scorpio have left. A handshake starts the fall but controversy soon occurs when Scorpio takes out the referee with a deathjump smash (8 moves) after really taking the fight to the champion. Quackenbush capitalizes on the distraction with a QUACKENDRIVER IV but the referee is down and cannot make the count. Quackenbush hits a Quackendriver and the action continues with no referee. Outside the ring Scorpio takes thing to the extreme hitting a fireman’s carry suplex through a ringside table. Both men are down and the crowd is chanting! Back inside, the action goes back and forth. Quackenbush gets the upper hand and then plants Scorpio with a QUACKENDRIVER II for the three count. The last fall was excellent and Quackenbush retains the title. ***
Number One Contenders Match – Shelton Benjamin v. AJ. Styles
The fans are on fire before this one even starts especially after the previous match. We get a handshake and then Benjamin explodes on offensive with a springboard clothesline followed by a superkick. A corner splash sends Styles to the floor. Styles regains the ring but Benjamin tosses him out again and comes out after the Phenomenal One. Both men brawl at ringside but Benjamin is too aggressive and cracks Styles across the back with a chair shot earning a disqualification. The fans are not pleased with the call but it appears that Styles is the number one contender. *
Alpha Male Champion Two Husky Black Guys (El Generico (ROH) & Willie Mack) v. Eddie Kingston & Tim Donst (BDK)
Generico and Mack are out to a real excellent ovation. Kingston is all business when he steps into the ring with current Smash Champion Generico. A cobra clutch suplex (ch) looks very impressive and Generico makes the tag to Mack. Mack sends Kingston into the corner and charges but Kingston is ready with a backdrop that sends Mack sprawling to the floor in sick looking spot. Kingston and Mack tear up ringside while Generico and Donst mix it up in the ring. The pairing trade spots with Generico and Donst battling on the floor and Kingston taking Mack back into the ring. Kingston connects with a BACKFIST TO THE FUTURE and gets the three count on Mack (cat’s eyes!) * ½
Alpha Male Champion: El Generico
Zero Gravity Champion: Mike Quackenbush
