I was looking over the roster for 2130, because I was going to start a new fed (still keeping my old one though) in the modern era to keep up with people... and realized that a major belt that has been a staple for my GWF is barely even represented in 2130. The Cruiserweight division is poorly represented now days, and those who qualify for the division are few and far between. I have always ran my weight maximum at 240 lbs (which is still 20-30 lbs higher than what most feds recognize now days) to get a lot of people to qualify, that normally wouldn't.
In 2130, the only people who qualify for it are:
Crossfire, Coven Black, The Betrayer, Psi, Mantis and UltraMantis Black
I could get Lope in if he weighs 2 lbs less...

What about going to 250 lbs.? I mean, this is the future. |

You could switch to an X Division title and say you qualify for it by having a -1 agility.

When I ran my POW fed, I rolled two dice before every match to determine whether or not a fighter "made weight" for his match. I subtracted the red die and added the blue die, with doubles indicating an extra half pound up or down. Granted, that wouldn't help with most of the roster, but maybe it would work for Lope (and over time, you could nudge some of the lower-weight heavyweights into contention). |
