2014 Top Prospects Tournament featuring wrestlers selected by YOU, THE FANS!

Round 1

* Hanson vs. Sami Callihan

The tournament opens with a bang! Hanson (4 tokens) and Sami Callihan (3 tokens) brawl all over the ringside area before Sami throws Hanson back into the ring and catches a wicked SPIN KICK OF DOOM right to the face!

Winner: Hanson

* Hobo vs. Mr. Touchdown

Mr. Touchdown comes to the ring, leaving a trail of quarters behind him. He enters the ring and glues a few more quarters to the mat.

Hobo comes out to a chorus of cheers from the fans! He notices the trail of quaters and begins to pick them up, one by one.

Hobo gets into the ring and the ref calls for the bell, but Hobo is distracted trying to pry loose the quarters Mr. TD glued to the mat.

Mr. Touchdown crushes Hobo with a helmet shot and pins him 1-2-3!

Winner: Mr. Touchdown Mark Angelosetti

after the match, the nefarious Mr. TD punts Hobo's Heritage Title into the concession stands. IT'S GOOD!

* Willie Mack vs. Shyron

It's pw vs ag and pw wins when Willie Mack (2 tokens) catches Shyron coming off the top rope with an awesome powerslam, then finishes the masked marvel w CHOCOLATE THUNDER BOMB!

Winner: Willie Mack

* Matt Cross vs. Estonian Thunderfrog

Matt Cross (2 tokens) is befuddled by the outrageous Estonian Thunderfrog (4 tokens), and puts a hurt on him with BOW AND ARROW!

Winner: Matt Cross

* Johnny Moxley vs. Adam Pearce

Wild brawl that ends in a double DQ! Moxley and Pearce brawl all the way into the crowd and outside of the arena! No doubt a rematch at some point is in order!

Winner: Double DQ, winner of Ricker vs. Cage will receive a 2nd round bye

* Shaun Ricker vs. Brian Cage

Before the match Ricker and Cage declared a conspiracy against ROH for pitting them against each other. They then announced they were protesting the tournament by walking out and instead, forming a tag team to be known as the "Championship Wrestlers from Hollywood!"

The CWFH bring chairs into the ring and declare a sit in, refusing to leave until ROH gives them new opponents in the tournament.

ROH refs come to the ring and try to escort the CWFH out of the ring, but they refuse. Push comes to shove and Ricker and Cage start unloading on refs right and left! Inferior bodies are flying everywhere!

All of a sudden out comes......the Briscoe Brothers! The Briscoes order Ricker and Cage out of their ring! The CWFH refuse again! A brawl erupts and Dem Boys whip that California ass! Ricker eats a stiff CUT THROAT DRIVER from Mark and Cage is decapitated by the DOOMSDAY DEVICE!

The ROH tag champs leave Ricker and Cage out cold in the middle of the ring!

Winners: no contest

* Caleb Konley vs. Joey Ryan

The Midnight Son looks in prime form, defeating Joey Ryan (4 tokens) easily w HOME WRECKER.

* Rowe vs. Drake Younger

The final match of round 1 is another crazy brawl that almost ends without winner when both men are almost DQ'd numerous times. In the end Rowe (5 tokens) puts Younger (3 tokens) down w DEATH ROWE!

Great battle that goes back and forth until Rowe gets caught by 2 HOME WRECKER's and rolls outside of the ring...Konley goes in for the kill and takes a hard clothesline over the guardrail! Rowe beats the 10 count but Konley is out!

* REDRAGON (KYLE O'REILLY + BOBBY FISH) vs. WAR MACHINE (HANSON + ROWE) (War Machine tag debut)

ReDRagon is back from their tour of Japan, and they look like a new team out there! Kyle O'Reilly finishes Hanson with a guillotine choke in a short match.

* RICOCHET vs. MATT SYDAL (debut)

Ricochet (6 tokens) wins an incredibly long and grueling 5 star match over Matt Sydal (6 tokens), pin w 3 consecutive CHOCOLATE RAIN's. Ricochet wrecks Sydals debut and advances to the semis.


* EL GENERICO vs. AUSTIN ARIES

Aries (2 tokens) takes out Generico (5 tokens) w BRAINBUSTER! All throughout the match the fans are cheering "thank you Generico!" in reference to Generico taking time off soon to spend more time as Sami Zayn in WWE.

After the match a cheerful Generico shakes hands with fans at ringside when out of nowhere he is attacked by a rabid Matt Sydal!

Sydal tears into Generico, rips off his mask and beats him bloody!

Sydal takes the mic, standing over a beaten Generico! "This is pathetic! You just lost a shot at the ROH title, and you don't care! You don't care because in 5 minutes you're out of here, back to WWE, back to NY to kiss HHH's ass! All while guys like me are killing themselves to be ROH Champion - HERE!"

Sydal hits the top rope and crushes Generico w SHOOTING SYDAL PRESS! He's got a crazed look in his eyes!

Sydal takes the mic again -

"I'm on a mission to destroy you entitled WWE puppets. I'm here to remind you of what happens to guys like US who get pulled in and pushed out of the wicked machine! GO! Go to them! You'll be back again when they're done using you! Owning you!"

Sydal climbs to the top and hits ANOTHER SSP! The medics hit the ring and try to rescue Generico but Sydal kicks them away!

"Just like me.............just like me....You'll see."

* AJ STYLES vs. "AMERICAN DRAGON" BRYAN DANIELSON

AJ Styles (6 tokens) and Bryan Danielson (7 tokens) tear the house down! Danielson climbs to the top rope when Matt Sydal walks down the ramp and begins to berate him from a distance! Either aware or unaware of Sydal's distraction, AJ Styles takes advantage by knocking Bryan off the top rope and hits STYLES CLASH for the win!

After the match Matt Sydal is pleased with himself, having cost Bryan the match.


* KEVIN STEEN vs. TOMMASO CIAMPA

Before the bell, Kevin Steen takes the mic and warns Matt Sydal to stay away from his match tonight. "Sorry you couldn't hack it in the WWE. You can hack it here either!" Steen rips Sydal.

Steen squashes Ciampa w a PACKAGE PILEDRIVER.

Steen says he is proud of his ROH heritage, and going to the WWE doesn't change that. He'll always bleed ROH. Steen then begs Matt Sydal to come down to the ring and fight him if he has a problem with that. Sydal does not come out.

* RHINO vs. CHRIS HERO

Chris Hero (2 tokens) steals one using the ropes as leverage to pin a bloody Rhino (4 tokens) who would not go down after kicking out of two LOADED ROLLING ELBOW's.


* WGTT (SHELTON BENJAMIN + CHARLIE HAAS) vs. THE AFFLICTION (Christopher Daniels + Kazarian)

WGTT wins and position themselves for next in line at the ROH tag team titles! Hass pins Daniels with a T-Bone suplex.

After crashing and burning twice, the fearless Ricochet (4 tokens) tries for the 450 SENTON again and hits it! Aries (3 tokens) is down for the count and Ricochet is in the finals!

* KEVIN STEEN vs. AJ STYLES

Steen gets his first ever W over AJ Styles (who he once lost the ROH title to...) winning with a sick powerbomb on the ring apron. After the match Steen calls out Sydal again...but again Sydal does not come out...
