TEKESHI MORISHIMA defeated LANCE STORM
The former TRADITION Champion continues his winning ways getting the three count on a very game and tough Lance Storm. But in the end it was the pure brute force of Morishima that was to much for the man from Calgary (dramatic pause) Alberta Canada to over come...a running splash/knee strike by Morishima knocked Storm out cold.

MISAWA defeated STEVE CORINO
As you could imagine a hard hitting affair between these two who both have great respect for one another...Corino however did take shall we say a short cut something he isn't shy about doing when he delivered a chair shot to the back of Misawa...followed up with a picture perfect super kick....Misawa however fought back and as Corino got distracted by Bison Smith who came down to ringside Misawa connected with a back suplex w/ Corino smashing the back of his head against the mat...Misawa gets the three count

CHAMPIONS CHALLENGE

CHRIS JERICHO defeated JERRY LYNN

Great back and fourth match between these two with Lynn very nearly with victory after hitting Jericho not once but twice with a cradle piledriver!

Jericho however since really his arrival in Gut Check has shown tremendous heart as he was able to kick out of every pin attempt by Lynn who was getting frustrated...and come out the victor after a dropkick from the top rope followed by a picture perfect Lionsault finisher

CHRIS BENOIT/CHRISTAN defeated THE KINGS OF WRESTLING
All out war between these two teams as the rivalry looks to come to and end at Card #80 between Hero and Benoit as the TRADITION Title hans in the balance....but is was Christan who was able to get the victory for his team..as Benoit brawled with Hero in the crowd ..Christan was able to hit his Killswitch on a bloody Claudio Castagnoli for the victory!

"A hell of a way to kick off the show as these two went at it to the nail...with tremendous physical shots for nearly 20 minutes....Harley Race despite blood pouring because of a deep cut over his right eye thanks to getting rammed headfirst into the steel post..despite that..gets the victory thanks to a flurry of forearm shots in the corner to the face and head of the former TRADITION Champion knocking him out!

AFTER THE 3 COUNT RACE WHO OFF THE HEELS OF BEATING STEVE AUSTIN AT HEARTLAND 400 MOTIONS THAT HE WANTS A TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST

"Another low ball tactic by that piece of garbage of a promoter who thinks he is a music star...Robbie Ice...this loser changes his mind more then I change my hairstyle...and DAYTON DAVE changes women
One minute he is back in the FLW...the next minute he isn't..one minute it's TRADITION the next minute it's GUT CHECK..now it's back to TRADITION

I tried to play nice in GUT CHECK..to try and reinvent the character of Chris Jericho...to the compitetor the fans could look up to....and I did that all the way to the GUT CHECK Championship..and as soon as that happened...boom CHANGE..well no more mister nice guy...Robbie Ice..... Card #81 I am taking everything from you..including that TRADITION Title...I don't give a damn if it is Hero or Benoit they all will fall to the feet of the IOTOLA of ROCK and ROLLA!

TRIPLE THREAT CHALLENGE MATCH
BISON SMITH defeated RODERICK STRONG and STEVE CORINO
Quite the rivalry has emerged between these three men...and this match many people would argue was the hardest hitting one of the night...each man bruised and battered..In the end it was Smith with the hard fought victory with a 3rd consecutive lariat off the ropes turning Roderick Strong inside out for the three count and victory for Bison

SUDDENLY THE LIGHTS GO OUT IN THE BUILDING FOR A MOMENT...

THE AMERICAN WOLVES defeated (C) DOUG FURNAS/DAN KROFFAT
Outstanding tag team match, which saw great back and forth action for nearly 25 minutes..it looked as though the champions were going to retain after a sky high lariat finisher...Edwards however got his foot on the rope and as the referee was coming down for the three count he looked up and saw it and broke the count...Furnas thought he got the pin as he and Kroffat celebrated...Davey came up from behind with his DR Driver and got the three count for the victory thus crowning the AMERICAN WOLVES the new TRADITION TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!

SUDDENLY

RETURNS TO TRADITION WITH MICROPHONE IN HAND....

Damn yo..it is good to be home...back where I belong in TRADITION running the show...kicking ass and taking names making ALL those other sucka's eat crow!

(C) CHRIS HERO defeated CHRIS BENOIT
The fans were on the edge of their seat for 25 minutes plus as this match went back and fourth with several high points for challenger and champion....In the end to the surprise of the Champion Chris Hero it was CHRISTAN who came down to ringside and delivered the Killswitch outside of the ring to a fallen Benoit with the refs back turned!

Hero then confronted Christan who backed off and left threw the crowd...Hero looked down at the knocked out Benoit for several minutes..then rolled him in the ring and reluctantly pinned him for the three count to retain the gold

Great show of respect as both men shook hands to start the match...very hard hitting contest..with Corino showing great resolve..but Misawa thanks to a Tiger Bomb "85 was just to strong..as the Japan Legend gets the victory.

*AFTER THE MATCH BISON SMITH CAME DOWN IN THE RING AND WANTED TO DO MORE DAMAGE TO CORINO WHO HE HAS HAD QUITE THE FEUD WITH....BUT MISAWA STOPPED HIS TAG TEAM PARTNER AND CALMED HIM AS THEY WENT TO THE BACK

BUT...SUDDENLY....RODERICK STRONG CAME DOWN AND BRUTALLY ATTACKED CORINO TO THE POINT OF CORINO BLEEDING HEAVILY FROM HIS HEAD AND FACE!

Very competitive match between to young wrestlers...Stevens barely survived the running power slam from Smith and was able to get the 3 count thanks to a Doctor Bomb

DOUG FURNAS/DAN KROFFAT defeated THE IRISH AIRBORNE

"Furnas and Kroffat get back on the winning track as they look forward to the rematch with the American Wolves for the tag titles...but in saying that it wasn't a easy win against the Airborne who gave everything the former champs could handle and more ..but it was the sky high lariat on Dave Crist that finally gave Kroffat the pin for his team

THE THRILL-SEEKERS w/ TRACI BROOKS defeated KINGS OF WRESTLING
"Solid match which saw several near falls..although Hero seemed to take alot of the match for his team as the FLW U.S Champion Claudio Castagnoli seemed a little dis interested in the match...but did come in like gang busters when Hero made the hot tag to him...as Double C thought he had the match after a Ricola Bomb on Storm..but Lance kicked out!

Hero then tagged in again but got caught with a picture perfect super kick which lead into a lionsault by Jericho for the pin and victory!

AS THE MATCH EN DED AND EVERYONE CLEARED FROM THE RING...SUDDENLY...

1/2 OF THE TRADITION TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS MAKES HIS WAY INTO THE RING WITH MICROPHONE IN HAND

"First off happy holidays and new year to everyone out there....needless to say the end of 2011 did not go as planned for the American Wolves....don't get me wrong we set out what we wanted to do by capturing the TRADITION Tag Team Championship...we kicked ass and took names in this ring...but then along came THE ROCK on December 22nd

You all saw what happened and because of what Dwayne did my partner will be out of action for quite a long time....ROCK I dare you to come to this ring because sooner then later, one way or another the AMERICAN WOLVES will get there revenge

Now on to more important things at hand at the present moment....I have been in contact with Robbie Ice over the holidays...and he has told me here tonight their will be a number #1 contenders match tonight to see who gets a shot at these titles

Our fearless leader has also told me I have one week to find myself a tag team partner to defend the titles on card #83 against the winners of the Furnas/Kroffat vs. Akuma/Icarus match tonight

I say I go in alone and defend these belts against two men...but with the blessing of my fellow wolf Davey Richards you bet your ass I will find a tag team partner to defend these belts and I feel sorry for who ever wins that match tonight..cause the hunt is back on!

RODERICK STRONG defeated ERICK STEVENS
These two long time rivals that have competed against each other numerous times in many promotions including this one...went at it for the last time not holding anything back...

Stevens thought he had the match won after a choo-choo splash in the corner but Strong not only kicked out but quickly got to his feet and came off the ropes with a Yakuza kick to knock Stevens out cold and get the three count.

A GREAT WIN FOR STRONG HEADING INTO CARD #83 TO FACE STEVE CORINO INSIDE OF A CAGE

#1 CONTENDERS TAG TEAM MATCH
FURNAS/KROFATT defeated ICARUS/GRAN AKUMA
Very competitive match between these two teams..several near falls for both sides throughout the contest...it looked to be over when Akuma and Icarus had Krofatt set for the FIST Bomb when suddenly....Icarus turned to his partner with a devastating pedigree spit on him and left the ring!

With everyone in shock over what just happened Furnas after a few moments connected with a picture perfect belly to belly suplex for the three count!

ULTRAMANTIS BLACK defeated (C) CHRIS HERO
With everyone still in shock including Hero as the lights came back on...the masked challenger soon became champion in record time catching Hero with a double knee back breaker then a cosmic disaster to get the 3 count and become TRADITION CHAMPION!

AFTER THE MATCH A MIST APPEARED SURROUNDING THE NEW CHAMPION ULTRAMANTIS BLACK AS HE HELD THE TITLE OVER HIS HEAD IN VICTORY!

HERO SLOWLY GOT TO HIS FEET WHEN FROM OUT OF THE CROWD STORMED CHRISTIAN WITH A STEEL CHAIR!

THE FORMER ECW CHAMPION ATTACKED HERO AFTER THE MATCH WITH VICIOUS CHAIR SHOTS TO THE HEAD...AND ENDED WITH CONNECTING WITH HIS KILL-SWITCH ONTO THE CHAIR!

HERO NEEDED TO BE CARRIED OUT OF THE ARENA ON A STRETCHER

BARRY WINDHAM and JIMMY JACOBS DOUBLE DQ
Coming in to this match anyone who has followed this story for the past several weeks knew this was not going to be a wrestling match...as expected blood was spilled both men refused to follow instructions or rules laid down by the officials..and the match had to be thrown out as a double dq..as both these men battled throwout the bar and outside
The show ends with security and other wrestlers trying to separate the two outside of the bar!

SUDDENLY THE LIGHTS GO OUT IN THE BUILDING.....A BLOOD CURDLING SCREAM IS HEARD THROUGHOUT AS THE LIGHTS FLICKER BACK ON IT IS.....

JIMMY JACOBS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING!

CHRISTIAN defeated JIMMY JACOBS via DISQUALIFICATION
"These two have a history from back when Jacobs made his return to this promotion...and they went right at each other.

Jacobs thought he had the very competitive match won after his CONTRA CODE but Christian thanks to a slick reversal smashed Jacobs in the face with a knee...then as he set up his KILL SWITCH Finisher...

SUDDENLY

CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI STORMED INTO THE RING!
and viciously attacked Christan..with unrelenting European uppercuts...and finally a RICOLA BOMB right on the steel steps leading into the ring!!

As Jacobs just continues to watch from the ring and as EMT'S come rushing out to check on Christian..Claudio looks down at the fallen Canadian and slaps him in the face several times..before he looks to the crowd and yells ONE DOWN...ONE TO GO!

AS ALL THAT IS GOING ON JACOBS IN THE RING GRABS THE MICROPHONE...

Icarus came down to a chorus of boo's as fans remember the brutal attack Icarus delivered to his longtime FIST partner Gran Akuma on Card #83

But he really has not had anytime to celebrate his attack because the debuting Eddie Kingston who demanded this match as soon as he got drafted by TRADITION..went right on the attack with a devastating Yakuza Kick..followed up by a half nelson suplex dumping Icarus right on the back of his head!

Kingston was looking to finish him off as he whipped into the ropes when Icarus hit a slingshot senton...followed by a Spear out of the corner!

However the 1st ever CHIKARA GRAND CHAMPION, Kingston would recover and get the victory with a back drop driver!

AFTER THE MATCH THE VICTORIOUS KINGSTON SUDDENLY GOT ATTACKED BY CHUCK TAYLOR AND JOHNNY GARGANO!

AND THANKS TO A HURTS DONUT BY GARGANO ON THE CONCRETE FLOOR TO KINGSTON...EDDIE ALSO NEEDED TO SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION...AS ICARUS, GARGANO AND TAYLOR STOOD IN THE RING VICTORIOUS

STEEL CAGE #1 CONTENDER GRUDGE MATCH
STEVE CORINO defeated RODERICK STRONG
Simply put this was a war of attrition between these two hated rivals...both men bloody and battered...Strong really controlled most of the match to be honest...thanks to several head shots of Corino going into the cage! and a Yakuza Kick that caught Corino flush in the face and slamming the back of his head into the cage...however the King of Old school lived up to that name as Corino just kept fighting back and would not stay down.

The turning point came when these two tremendous competitors climbed to the top of the cage and battled each other..when Corino got the upper hand in the exchange he delivered a Victory PLex from the top of the Cage!!!

Both men crashed to the mat with tremendous force..and both slowly got to their feet were Corino leveled Strong with a picture perfect Super Kick for the victory!

WITH THE WIN STEVE CORINO IS NOW THE NUMBER 1 CONTENDER FOR THE TRADITION CHAMPIONSHIP

1/2 OF THE TRADITION TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS...EDDIE EDWARDS CAME DOWN TO THE RING WITH MICROPHONE IN HAND.."It has been a tough month and a half for the American Wolves...thanks to that piece of garbage THE ROCK and what he did to my partner Davey Richards at HOW THE FLW STOLE CHRISTMAS..because of the cowardly attack by Dwayne, doctors are still not saying when Davey if at all can come back to the ring and do what he does best..something The Rock has no idea about and that is WRESTLE.

I have been in constant contact with Davey since this happened and I know Robbie Ice has been in talks with both of us..it was agreed that the AMERICAN WOLVES will not have to get stripped of the tag titles as long as I found a partner to defend these titles with me...and with Davey giving his approval...I decided to go back to roots in Boston to find a man that can stand with me and defend these titles night in and night out against any team in the world!

Davey my friend I hope you are watching...Robbie Ice...and to all the fans in attendance....let us all welcome.....

With everyone still in shock over the developments, Furnas took it to Cena right off the start with a tremendous belly to belly suplex...followed by a FRANKENSTIENER!...Edwards made the save and went at it with Kroffat..the battle continued for several more minutes until in the end Cena got Furnas down with his spinning back suplex!

Cena to the disapproval of the crowd was about to do his U CANT SEE ME 5 KNUCKLE SHUFFLE when he stopped and tagged in Edwards who then in tribute to Richards delivered the D.R. DRIVER for the victory!

The debuting Chikara star Donst won the match thanks too a DQ but might have lost the war, because it was the railroad spike to the face busting Donst open that caused the DQ....and it seemed as though Jacobs could care less as he took the microphone.....

"I am just getting started.....Tim Donst's blood that you see before you is just the beginning....just add him to the list that have FALLEN to the hands of Jimmy Jacobs.

JBL wants to take credit for the destruction of Mike Rotundo...so be it...but let it be known JBL that if we ever cross paths again...it will be your blood all over this wrestling mat.

The crowd erupted when Quack and Jigsaw came to the ring and the 20 minute match was just outstanding. Despite being caught off guard by the appearances of the mystery partners of Kingston...it was Chuck Taylor getting the victory for his team thanks to the cross crab making Jigsaw tap out!

"Can I just say this is total B.S., for months I have been feuding with that so called King of Old School Steve Corino...beating his ass every which way but Sunday...leaving him laying in the middle of this ring...defeated and broken...then by some luck that must of came out of a leperchans ass he somehow gets the referee to award him the match that makes him the Number 1 contender for the TRADITION title....

Not to mention the fact the TRADITION offices have to returned my requests for another match so I can prove once and for all who is the better wrestler....all that really pisses me off!

It was Cena with his in ring debut for TRADITION to a a chorus of boo's by the crowd that got off to the quick start but it was Edwards thanks to connecting with a DR Driver in honor of his friend Davey Richards that got the victory on Furnas

TRADITION CHAMPIONSHIP TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
STEVE CORINO defeated ULTRAMANTIS BLACK and CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI
Robbie Ice at the request of Corino at the last moment decided since Corino was officially the 1 contender for the title that he would be added to the match!

And what a match it was...as history was made....Christian returned and camd down to ringside distracting Claudio...as well as Strong and Aries confronting Corino...eventually Aries and Strong both left the ringside area..which led to Corino to get the victory thanks to a super kick square to the face of now former champion Ultramantis Black which led to the Victory plex for the three count and win!

MIKE SYDAL defeated JIMMY ROCKWELL
The younger brother of XBG's Evan Bourne, Mike Sydal came out of the blocks quick avoiding Rockwell's running chops and connecting with two consecutive enzugiri's

Followed bhy a shooting star press..which Rockwell kicked out of!...a sitdown powerbomb stunned Sydal, but after a vicious slingshot out of the corner, Mike got the victory after an amazing EXPLOSION MOONSAULT that took the crowd's breath away.

KROTCH defeated JON WEST
The native of Chicago, Ill; West got off to a very quick start connecting early with a sky high powerbomb...but after that he could not sustain the offense as Krotch thanks to a couple of turnbuckle dropkicks...a bronco buster in the corner finished off Jon with his Krotch rocket finisher to advance

*It got bad to worse for Jon West as Krotch continued his assault after the match..leaving West laying after he put him threw a table onto the concrete!*


MADDOG McDOWELL defeated SIR BRADLEY CHARLES
Back and forth these two athletes went, Charles had the early advantage thanks to some picture perfect dropkicks but thanks to a very powerful side walk slam the Maddog advances

RYAN SLADE defeated NATE BASH
You could not blink during this match or you would miss a lot..back and forth these two went in a very even match. Bash thought he had the victory when he hit his SMOKE ON THE WATER Finisher..but the man from Thunder Bay Ontario kicked out and thanks to his CANADIAN DESTROYER finisher gets the 3 count to move on in the tournament.

GAGE OCTANE defeated HUNTER MATTHEWS
Mathews showed a lot of guts as he took a ton of punishment early and often, he would not quit. In saying that Octane was just to much in the end as he finally got the victory thanks to a sit out hip toss pin combo

DEVIN CARTER defeated AARON MASTERSON
Total devastation by Carter not only during but after this match..first he puts Masterson away with two consecutive TASTY TREAT Finishers...then puts him threw a table...which led to Masterson to get stretchered out of the arena!

REBELUCHA defeated BRADY A DEZIRE
The masked man might have won the battle thanks to his KAMIKAZE STRETCH Finisher but after the match AJ SMOOTH and TONY SLY came down to the ring and along with the recovered DEZIRE beat down Rebelucha which included a vicious slingshot into the steel post...knocking him out cold as EMT's had to help him to the back!

MARK STERLING defeated TONY SLY
As this match began the official ordered both Smooth and Dazire out of the arena after what took place earlier...they were not happy to say the least and were forced out by security!

Sterling had some trouble dealing with Sly early on thanks to several under hook DDT's but in the end Sterling got the submission victory thanks to his MARK SHOOTER Finisher

AJ SMOOTH defeated BRAIN ASH
Smooth not only was let back in the building for his match but pulled off a huge upset win over Ash..he took a ton of punishment early but with stood including several gorilla press meltdowns and got the W thanks to a chokeslam out of the corner!

CASANOVA and RICKY KWONG battled to a doule DQ
Wild brawl between these two from the get go that went outside the ring after Casanova nailed Kwong with double knees to the gut...Kwong did not like that one bit and took it to the crowd were the referee had no choice but to call for the double disqualification.

JEREMY WYATT defeated ZACH THOMPSON
Wyatt made real short work of Thompson...3 offensive moves which included his KC Crossface submission is all it took as Zach quickly tapped out

BEN SAILER defeated TONY COOK
Great even match to close out the first round...over 15 minutes of back and fourth action but in the end it was Sailer with the victory thanks to his BENGERMAN SUPLEX with the victory


CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT
SECOND ROUND RESULTS

KROTCH defeated MIKE SYDAL
Could not blink during this match either as it was as fast paced as it get...even match with the fans solidly behind Sydal...however when Krotch took it to the outside it was a whole different story as he gave a pildriver to Matt right on the concrete!

Sydal was hurt and could not make it back into the ring before the 20 count

MADDOG MCDOWELL defeated RYAN SLADE
The stronger and more physical McDowell makes short work of Slade and puts him away with a rabies shot

DEVIN CARTER defeated GAGE OCTANE
Solid match between these two with Carter advancing in some might say a slight upset thanks to his big man's cross body

JEREMY WYATT defeated BEN SAILER
People called this the match of the tournament..with back and forth action for nearly 20 minutes real time..in the end it was Wyatt who would not be denied thanks to his Kansas Tumbleweed finisher to advance


CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT
SEMI FINAL RESULTS

MADDOG MCDOWELL defeated KROTCH
Fatuige now you can see is a huge factor for these athletes as we go deeper into the tournament. Maddog powered his way into the finals with a jaw shaking sidewalk slam for the victory

MARK STERLING defeated DEVIN CARTER
In yet another match of the tournament canidate..this match to went nearly 20 minutes with Sterling finally coming out on top after a third time in the match hooking his MARK SHOOTER Finisher in for the victory

JEREMY WYATT defeated AJ SMOOTH
Very little respect shown by Smooth as he spit right in the face of Wyatt to begin the match!
During the contest..it looked as though Smooth sustained a major leg injury as Wyatt quickly ended the match at that point with his KC Crossface submission

SPECIAL CHALLENGE MATCH

JIMMY JACOBS and TIM DONST battled to a double DQ
This really never was a match..and the fans seemed disappointed that the referee did not let the battle between these two continue to get a definitive winner but the was really nothing the ref could do when the blood bath got into the crowd!

Both men were busted open..and fans really started to get behind Donst as the brawl progressed... Jacobs could care less about anything at this point it seemed...he was screaming for Barry Windham inside the steel at RAGE in THE CAGE.....and Jacobs went for broke as he attempted a diving senton on Donst on the concrete steps...but Tim moved and Jacobs was in serious pain...Donst bloody thanks to the rail road spike from earlier in the match..hit Jacobs with a belly to belly suplex on the concrete!

The match continued with a Jacobs somehow continuing on...delivering a spear to Donst as they went crashing into the crowd!

Security finally came down and separated the two..as the crowd booed and chanted let them fight

A 30 minute plus classic...each man giving it everything to become champion...Wyatt eliminated Maddog with a charging clothesline right into a unbelievable show of strength as he got McDowell up for a fisher man buster for the pin @ 18:32 of the match....Sterling and Wyatt put on a show of shows for the rest of the match...with tremendous wrestling action but it was a vicious running spear by Sterling that ended the match and crown a new TRADITION champion!

*A STANDING OVATION FROM THE CROWD..AS MARIA CAME BACK DOWN TO THE RING TO PRESENT THE NEW CHAMPION WITH....*

MATT & MIKE SYDAL w/LIZZY VALENTINE defeated KROTCH & SABU
A wild tag team encounter to say the least..as former stable mates SABU and Matt Sydal in XBG no tore into each other as official members of TRADITION.

Krotch and Mike Sydal were the real stars of the show just giving everything they had to rip into the other...Mike connected with a couple of super kicks and tried to follow up with a running enzuigiri but got caught off the ropes by SABU with Air SABU!

Matt hit a picture perfect 450 on Krotch...but thanks to a save by Sabu the match continued...Krotch took out Matt thanks to his springboard Krotch press!

Krotch then went for the kill on Mike as he attempted a turnbuckle dropkick but missed as Mike moved out of the way and hit a EXPLOSION MOONSAULT on Krotch for the hard earned victory

*AFTER THE MATCH KROTCH WAS FURIOUS AT SABU...FOR NOT MAKING THE SAVE...THE TWO ARGUED THEN KROTCH SCREAMED YOU WANT TO GET EXTREME FOLLOWED BY A LOW BLOW TO SABU!

HE THEN WENT TO THE BAR BROKE A GLASS BOTTLE AND TOOK THE SHARP END AND JABBED IT IN THE FACE OF THE ECW LEGEND!

BLOOD POURED OUT OF THE HEAD AND FACE OF SABU AS SECURITY TOOK KROTCH AWAY...EMT'S RUSHED SABU TO THE BACK FOR MEDICAL ATTENTION!*

INTERNATIONAL TRIPLE THREAT ELIMINATION MATCH
KENTA defeated JAY LETHAL and DOUGLAS WILLIAMS
Spectacular match that went over 15 minutes...after tremendous chain wrestling by all three opponents...the first eliminated was free agent Douglas Williams who despite who many believed really dominated the early going of this match thanks to some tremendous suplexes fell victim to the Lethal Injection by the newest member of the TRADITION roster Jay Lethal.

KENTA who seemed to tweak his right knee earlier in the match went right after Lethal who did not back down as the two continued to trade blows....Jay however seemed a bit distracted with the fact Douglas Williams did not leave the ringside area after being pinned....Douglas in no way got involved in the match however after his elimination...and KENTA caught Jay being distracted and pinned him after his GTS finisher! to get the victory


SPECIAL ATTRACTION MATCH
JEREMY WYATT defeated MAD DOG MCDOWELL
These two were in triple threat match with Mark Sterling in the finals of the TRADITION title tournament....they both demanded this match knowing the winner would be a solid if not number #1 contender for the title with a victory

And they did not disappoint going nearly 20 minutes...Mad Dog took the power approach connected with several high impact offense including a Mad Dog Bomb that nearly got him the victory but in the end of this war it was Wyatt with his hand raised in victory thanks to his KC Cross face making the Mad Dog finally tap after several minutes having the hold locked in!


TRADITION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
(C) MARK STERLING defeated JIMMY JACOBS
The champion was taken to a whole other hardcore level...a lot of blood was spilled as Jacobs threw the rule book out and showed his evil intentions in a big way

Which included a spear against the guard rail! and several chair shots to the head of the champion who showed great resolve and just continued to fight back...Jacobs got caught in a short arm power slam right on a steel chair followed by a running spear by Sterling

The end came for both bloody and bruised athletes when Sterling once again catching Jacobs with a running spear when Jacobs came out of the corner and because of the force of the spear bounced the back of his head flush against the turnbuckle knocking him out enough for the three count!

AFTER THE MATCH....STEVE CORINO FROM HEARTLAND CAME STORMING INTO THE RING WITH JIMMY JACOBS RAIL ROAD SPIKE AND STABBED STERLING WITH A VIOLENT THRUST RIGHT INTO HIS FOREHEAD...THE BLOOD FLOWED OUT OF THE HEAD OF STERLING LIKE A RIVER AS BOTH CORINO AND A RECOVERED JACOBS CONTINUED TO ATTACK THE BLOODY CHAMPION

UNTIL....SABU WHO A BLOOD SOAKED WRAP AROUND HIS END THANKS FROM EARLIER IN THE SHOW STILL CAME INTO THE RING AND CONNECTED ON A TRIPLE JUMP MOONSAULT ON BOTH CORINO AND JACOBS!

SABU THEN GRABBED A STEEL CHAIR AND JUST WENT TO TOWN BASHING BOTH CORINO AND JACOBS IN THE HEAD WITH WICKED SHOTS

SECURITY FINALLY CAME INTO THE RING TO SEPARATE THE ATHLETES AS THE CROWD GOES CRAZY

Very competitive opening contest..which started with a hand shake...with his brother Matt touring in Japan, Mike showed he has what it takes to also be a top singles competitor

Giving the #1 contender for the TRADITION Championship Wyatt everything he could handle.....including a shooting star press that nearly had Wyatt on the losing end of the match....but Wyatt withstood and eventually put the younger Sydal away thanks to a tap out via the KC Cross face.

The free agent duo from the United Kingdom showed there worth with a very hard fought victory over one of the most electric young tag teams in the world.

Early on it looked as though the speed and quickness of Nick and Matt Jackson would be the perfect solution for a win however thanks to a rolling German suplex out of the corner by Williams followed up quickly by a flying elbow drop from the top rope for the victory by Magnus.

All out blood bath in this huge brawl that went all over the building....Jacobs and SABU just destroyed one another....as you can imagine everything from chairs to tables...to glass bottles were used...an Arabian Face Buster by Sabu on top of the bar nearly got the victory for the ECW legend....but the EVIL of Jacobs won the day thanks to a DDT on the bar which Jacobs broke several bottle over ....so several pieces of large broken glass laid on the bar as Jacobs drove the face and head of his opponent into that broken glass!!

*AFTER THE MATCH WITH BLOOD FLOWING FROM THE FACE AND HEAD OF SABU...JACOBS CONTINUED THE ATTACK WITH RIGHT HANDS TO THE FACE.....WHEN SUDDENLY THE LIGHTS WENT OUT AND A

BRUISER BRODY/BUZZ SAWYER defeated BRYAN DANIELSON/KENTA
Give a ton credit to Bryan Danielson who came into this match just a few days after the war he had with Lou Thesz which he came out on the losing end..but he took it to Brody in this match...KENTA connected with his GTS on Sawyer but Brody not only made the save but nearly kicked KENTA's head off his shoulder with a big boot to the face...to get the 3 count!

Jacobs got a broken beer bottle to the head thanks to Sabu that bust him open very badly..and despite a tremendous super kick to the face of Taz...Corino could not put the human suplex machine away..and thanks to a T-bone Taz plex followed by a triple jump moonsault by Sabu...Corino was pinned 1-2-3!
