Am I the only one who's getting really tired of the Flood eliminating wrestlers? First it was Kobald, then Thunderfrog and now apparently Proud Oak as well. Once was shocking, though I still think it was unnecessary, but now it just seems like a bad event comic.

The roster upon the return was way too big, so I can understand why they are killing off some characters. I just don't think the Flood has been booked to win enough for a super rudo team.

They just killed off two thirds of Baltic Siege and turned the final member of it into a coward, I'd say that was pretty darn formidable for a super rudo team. As for the roster size, I'd say Quack shouldn't have hired so many people then. I'd have been quite happy with a smaller Chikara roster with a smallish rudo team lead by Jimmy Jacobs then the Countdown of wrestling that this storyline has become.

To each their own, but I have zero problem with it. And that's coming from someone who's favorite character in Chikara was killed off first.
I agree with Todd in that other than taking guys out, they haven't won a whole lot.
I'm just letting the story play out and enjoying it instead of being too critical about what's going on which seems to be thing to do when following any fed. (That's not a jab at you Badger).
I will say I'm not a huge Icarus fan and him holding the title doesn't really do anything for me, and several matches each show just seem to be thrown together randomly without any reasoning behind them.
I'd be hesitant to use a Decaulion (sp?) card if we ever got around to making one for him in fear he'd eliminated my entire roster lol

I've always just assumed that all the killed off characters will return as zombies in the storyline to coincide with their Rudo Resurrection video game.

Okay, this is probably a stupid question, but I always thought that guys like Thunderfrog and Kobald were being "killed off" because they were pulling double duty in some other persona... Is that not the case?

I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but does it seem like Chikara is floundering a bit??? I really think all that time away did more harm than good. Just my 2 cents.

They came back with a bang, and do seem to be floundering a bit. They dont seem to hav the amount of content and updates daily that they used to have to keep people interested. I know of many Chikara fans that forget there are shows going on, which never used to happen before. Having a strong King of Trios will help build things back up, although the wait on announcing trios has been frustrating.
As for Icarus, I agree that he isn't doing it for me as Grand Champ now. An example where the chase was more exciting than the followup. I can see Jacobs winning the GC King of Trios weekend.

I know I'm not seeing people questioning Quack's stories... am I?
