This is essentially a modern day NWA promotion. It's going to be a mishmash of guys that I feel like the current NWA would try and build off of if they weren't total morons. I'm going to run the tv in seasons with some iPPVs thrown in the mix as the big events. This isn't going to run in real time so I can rattle off a bunch of shows if I decide to one day. My plan is to keep a smaller to mid sized roster with guys coming and going. I haven't totally decided on belts other than the World and Tag belts at this point. I think a secondary belt can wait until season 2 or 3.
The idea here is that the NWA has switched hands to The LP Inc. The board of directors announced that the NWA has become a joke in previous years and lost it's way. They immediately order all of the championships to be vacated, start an internet tv show, iPPVs and a DVD distribution deal. The idea is to push the NWA as a national brand again. Not a challenger to WWE, TNA or even RoH but another option for wrestling fans to enjoy.

NWA Wrestling Showcase Season 1 Episode 1:
taped from Las Vegas, NV
The new NWA Commissioner Ricky Steamboat is announced. Steamboat comes out holding the NWA World Heavyweight Championship belt. He's out here today for two reasons. The first is to announce the NWA World Tag Team Title tournament that will be starting this week on the Wrestling Showcase. This tournament will feature 8 of the best tag teams in the world today. The second reason that he's out here is to present Adam Pearce with the NWA World Heavyweight Championship belt that he won at the Rebirth iPPV a few days ago.
Adam Pearce walks down to the ring and accepts the championship belt from Ricky Steamboat. Pearce gets on the mic and mentions that this proves that the NWA needed Adam Pearce more than Adam Pearce needed the NWA. He's back at the top of the mountain where he belongs and as the champion he's going to lead the NWA back to heights of greatness that it hasn't experienced in decades. He's going to take this belt and he's going to defend it against the best wrestlers that the world has to offer.
Just then Chris Hero walks down to the ring. Hero grabs a mic and mentions that he gave Adam Pearce everything that he could handle at the Rebirth iPPV. He came so close to winning the NWA World Title that he thinks there needs to be an immediate rematch for the belt. Hero looks at Steamboat and offers him the mic. Steamboat says that's a great idea. In fact, they have an iPPV coming up at the end of this 13 episode season. He thinks that would make a great main event for that show. Hero thanks Steamboat.
Hero turns to leave but suddenly whirls around and knocks Adam Pearce out with an elbow right to the face. Hero grabs the NWA World Title belt, poses with it and then leaves it on the chest of the fallen Adam Pearce.

A hype video plays. It says that Charlie Haas is coming.
Scott Hudson has Colt Cabana for a sit down interview. Colt says that he's disappointed that he failed to regain the NWA World Title during the Rebirth PPV. He's not going to let that get him down though. He's going to be one of the top guys in this new NWA and he'll get some more title matches in the future. He will be the NWA World Champion again.
Anthony Nese d. Ethan Page w/ the Reverse Piledriver
Scott Hudson stops Anthony Nese for an interview. Nese talks about how he's the star of the new NWA. He wants the fans to look around at everyone they've seen wrestle for this company so far. None of them are in his league. He has one goal in the NWA and that's to be the NWA World Heavyweight Champion.
