These are awesome title histories. I like how you have the minis for all of the past title holders and how you have the record of title defenses too.

Thanks Vegas. There's always a chance I'll come back to playing my GWF. I did some time ago start a GWF Classics fed to fill in the years up to the original game set.

Got a lot more title histories to do. I have the title changes but not all the defenses so it takes time, then more time in getting the minis collected and added in the post.

GWF LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE

The GWF's Light-Heavyweight title, or Cruiserweight title, has had a fairly short history as compared to other championships. The title was created and then desanctioned. Years later when the roster merited its return, the Cruiserweight title was re-instated. Since the title's inception, two wrestlers have made themselves stand out. Bishop Hell holds the record as the longest reigning champion. The title was desanctioned after he lost it. Recently, Archon came close to the record of most title defenses, being stopped at 11. Rising Sun/Eclipse is the only 3-time Cruiserweight champion. Ursa Major and Varsity have held it twice.

Notes:
1. Ghengis Khan won a 25-man battle royal to become the first Light-Heavyweight champion.
2. Mad Jester's last title defense was against Lance At-Las at SuperBrawl II (#530). The title was de-sanctioned after that match.
3. The Light-Heavyweight title was resanctioned several years later and named the Cruiserweight title. Three separate 8-man tournaments were held with the three winners facing off in a Triangle match for the title. Vyper defeated Skinhead and U.S. Patriot in the finals.
4. Max Shield lost the Cruiserweight title in the semifinals loser's bracket round of the Cosmic Cage Carnage Tournament.
5. Blacklash took the Cruiserweight title from Rising Sun in the third round of the Cruiser Combat Tournament.
6. Archon unified the Cruiserweight belts by defeating Halcon Oro at Galaxian Bash: War Games.
7. The GWF was closed by President Cordanus and the UFSP. Operations were halted, and Prodigy was the last GWF Cruiserweight Champion.

SuperNova has proven herself a great GWF Woman's champ. She had to win the first ever Iron Woman Tournament to become the inaugural holder of the belt.

2. King Lear retired after winning the Steel Cage title, along with the I-P and Galaxian heavyweight belts.
3. Spike won a 64-man tournament to become GWF champion and Steel Cage champion.
4. Splatter won the first fall in the finals of the KOTR to win the Steel Cage title.
5. Chaos won the cage title back by pinning Splatter to win the KOTR tournament.
6. Chaos unified the cage title with the Interplanetary belt during this reign.
7. Rising Sun won the Cage title in the second round of the Cosmic Cage Carnage Tournament.
8. Max Shield took the Cage title in the quarter finals of the Cosmic Cage Carnage Tournament.
9. Buck Steele gained the Cage title in the semifinals of the Cosmic Cage Carnage Tournament, and went on to win it all.
10. Buck Steele vacated the Steel Cage title and it was re-sanctioned as the Death Match title.

DEATH MATCH HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

This new title was formally known as the Steel Cage title. Buck Steele vacated that belt, and a 64-man King of the Deathmatch Tournament was held to determine the first Death Match champion.
