Last year some time? He's just an indy guy really. No idea why someone would randomly single him out as someone they don't want a card of,he's hardly next in line.

I didn't single him out. I said I didn't want to see his partner Grey Wolf either.

First time I'm hearing that one. ill be at the show here on Friday, gonna try to sign anyone there who's not yet carded. Wish me luck. Should be an awesome show as usual.

It was never offical but anybody who was a big fan of Sting and Warrior and heard the clues thought it was Warrior. And if I'm not mistaken it was during one of Warriors disappearances.

It was supposed to be Warrior, but he rejected the deal at that time.

It was supposed to be Warrior, but he rejected the deal at that time. Never heard this whatsoever. It was simply WCW trying to bait their fans into thinking it was Warrior (it was obvious). But it was never going to be him as he was in the midst of his title reign (it wasn't during a disappearance though...this was 90). We knew they were wanting people to think it was Warrior, so we watched the Summer Slam PPV when Rude fought Warrior in a cage for the WWF Title. Our thinking was "If Warrior loses, then he's going to be the Scorpion, but if he wins, it's just WCW intentionally fooling their viewers."

Yeah it was never really going to be Warrior ,just like years later when Hogan announced an "Ultimate" partner years later. Just typical WCW ttying to trick the more casual fans who wouldn't know who is and isn't under contract.
The guy it was going to be was another Sting former partner but no one had ever heard of the guy.
