are headed to the 2014 World Series. Eight straight wins in the post season, 1985 was their last time in the post season, awesome stuff...

A solid victory by the Giants, that top of the first inning was the tone setter and Bumgarner had his stuff, while Shields didn't. My gut is the Giants could sweep this series, but we'll see...

After the streak the Royals had been on, anything is possible. It was a good win last night but I'm in no way counting any chickens!

A Giants victory would make them only the 4th team in HISTORY to win 3 out of 5 World Series. The others being the Yankees of the 40's & 90's and the A's from '72-'74. I read something earlier today that said if the Giants win, Bruce Bochy can punch his ticket to Cooperstown!

I'm glad my sweep thoughts were stomped on with a great game lastnight. Billy Butler had a good and key game in game two, so now onto San Fran and KC needs to get a victory...

I remember that time when the Royals went to the series in '85. I was much younger then and wondered if they could ever do it again. Glad they did. Brings back memories. |

This was the first MLB Playoff's & World Series in a very long time that I cared to follow and the last time was when the Phillies lost it to Toronto, but this was a great time for sure. I don't mind that the Giants won their Third WS in five years, the Royals had a great run and they played against a top team and came close to winning it all...
