A.J. Costello, the owner of New Era Wrestling, has decided to branch out into the exciting world of women's wrestling based on the popularity of the Women's Division in N.E.W. and will be starting his new enterprise soon.
Glory Women's Wrestling will feature only the best talents from the world of wrestling, from the Legends of yesteryear to the Stars of today's mat game.
The announce team for Glory Women's Wrestling will consist of Matt Cantrell (the nephew of N.E.W.'s "Mad" Mike Cantrell) and live event hostess Jenna Skillman.
The first show (Volume 1) will feature the first round of a sixteen-woman tournament to crown the first-ever Glory Champion.
The second show (Volume 2) will see the conclusion of the tournament and will have a few additional matches to determine the last two teams that will enter the eight-team Tag Title tournament.
The women who will compete in the first tournament are as follows (in no particular order):
