Each of the new talents on the roster has a link attached to their names in the roster on the first page. Click the links to see the card backs - there are pictures on each card back. The only cards that I did not link are those that have existing cards already.

I figured that someone would want to see and/or have copies of some of the talent at some point.

I tried using the link and it went to the page fine, but the image would not load. In all fairness though, I've only tried from my phone. I'll try the link using my laptop and get back to you.

NEWS

- Several allegations of steroid use have been leveled at Aaron Kavo - sources close to the Commissioner report that this situation is very serious and will be investigated. Kavo responded to these allegations with "The only thing that I'm juiced with is adrenaline - I enjoy hurting people very much." More details as this story develops.

- Sources close to Wetworks report that Pendragon is unhappy with his team's performance thus far. Pendragon intimated that everyone on his team (including himself) needed to perform to expectations or they wouldn't be around long.


- aCe veteran Shepard has been sighted in the outlying territories - does this suggest an imminent return?

- A mild earthquake rocked the containment facility housing the dreaded Murdok - there was no damage to the facility and the prisoners contained there remain secure.

ONE ESSENCE TOURNAMENT FINALS

*Once one team has been eliminated, the remaining team will face off against their remaining teammates - last man standing gets the ESSENCE.

CITADEL: CONNOR LOCKE, BRADEN WRIGHT & LINCOLN ALRIC vs. FORCE THREE: AARON KAVO, DONOVAN RASK & DALTON SANDS

:: Donovan Rask started the match for Force Three and hit DOOMSDAY twice on Lincoln Alric, but it wasn't enough - Alric eliminated Rask with DOMINATOR.
:: Lincoln Alric eliminated Dalton Sands after a missed deathjump with DOMINATOR.
:: Alric caught Aaron Kavo on the charge and laid a beating on him, but Kavo mounted a huge comeback to eliminate Alric with a KAVO BOMB.
:: Connor Locke eliminated Aaron Kavo with a suplex powerslam - Kavo didn't have the energy previously seen in prior matches.
:: Braden Wright looked poised to eliminate his teammate, but Locke reversed (nat 12) BLACKOUT into LOCKDOWN for the surprising win.

CONNOR LOCKE WINS THE ONE ESSENCE.

TAG-TEAM ESSENCE TOURNAMENT - ROUND 1

SHADOWCLAN defeated WETWORKS (3-0)

:: Arios hit EQUILIZER on Pendragon early, but Fortress made the save.
:: Arios hit EQUILIZER again on Pendragon and again Fortress made the save.
:: Arios eliminated Pendragon with a shining wizard.
:: Arios eliminated Fortress with a front face piledriver.
:: Arios eliminated Halfblood with EQUILIZER.

- Wetworks was not prepared for the focused Shadowclan - who worked well to isolate each opponent and eliminate them. Pendragon hung his head in shame as Wetworks made their way to the back.



CITADEL defeated FORCE THREE (3-2)

:: Connor Locke hit LOCKDOWN on Dalton Sands, but Aaron Kavo responded with a KAVO BOMB on Locke and pulled Sands on top for a nearfall.
:: Dalton Sands followed with SANDS OF TIME on Locke, but Braden Wright made the save - Locke escapes with a tag.
:: Braden Wright hit BLACKOUT on Dalton Sands - Aaron Kavo tried for the save, but Lincoln Alric intercepted him - Sands was eliminated.
:: Aaron Kavo blasts Braden Wright with a KAVO BOMB, but Lincoln Alric made the save.
:: Aaron Kavo eliminated Braden Wright after successive KAVO BOMBS.
:: Aaron Kavo eliminated Lincoln Alric with a samoan drop after a lengthy exchange.
:: Connor Locke (6 tokens) eliminated Aaron Kavo with LOCKDOWN after a vicious beating.
:: Connor Locke eliminated Donovan Rask with LOCKDOWN.

- This was a (*****) war between two top teams. The ESSENCE clearly played a role in this match - giving Locke enough of an advantage to weather the storm and secure his title. Aaron Kavo was clearly frustrated after being so close to attaining the ESSENCE, but being eliminated by the champion.



BLUE STEEL defeated THE COVEN (3-2)

:: Wyatt Granger eliminated Mack Calibur quickly with a running crossbody block.
:: Hoodlum smashed Wyatt Granger with CHAOS THEORY, but Harrow Dirk made the save.
:: Hoodlum battled back and forth with Harrow Dirk, finally got the win with SOMATO - Garret Lockley tried to make the save, but Hustler intercepted him.
:: Garret Lockley surprised Hoodlum with DARK TIMES and eliminated him before Hustler could make the save.
:: Hustler traded big shots with Garret Lockley and escaped with the win after a fourth SKULL CAP.

- Blue Steel has really shown some grit lately - two great performances after dropping their opening match to NEW SCHOOL.



SYNDICATE defeated KROOT (3-1)

:: Salu hit Neuromancer with REAPER, but Hybrid cleaned house and tossed Salu out of the ring.
:: Crix hit Neuromancer with IMMOBILIZER, but again Hybrid was there and tossed Crix over the top rope.
:: Salu eliminated Neuromancer with REAPER.
:: Hybrid destroyed Salu with POISON DRIVER - Crix was still recovering on the floor and Serat looked too afraid to make the save.
:: Serat didn't want to enter the ring, so Hybrid drug Crix inside and eliminated him with a Brain Damager.
:: Serat tried to flee, but Warfare was there with a running clothesline - once inside the ring, Hybrid hit a Downburst for the win.

- The Kroot are easily the worst team in the aCe - everyone is walking all over them. This was the best performance by Syndicate - Hybrid was a complete beast.



CRUSADE defeated NEW SCHOOL (3-2)

:: Magnifico eliminated Evil Dead with a SLAVE DRIVER - Witchdoctor tried for the save, but Pariah prevented it.
:: Witchdoctor surprised everyone with a Head Spear Takedown that eliminated Magnifico - Pariah wasn't in time to make the save.
:: Pariah put a beating on Witchdoctor, but a tag to Nes Kincade led to DEATH'S SPECTRUM - Kincade was eliminated. (snake eyes)
:: Witchdoctor motioned Pariah to bring it - Pariah smashed him quickly with ANARCHY, but Blood Thirst made the save.
:: Pariah was relentless and smashed Witchdoctor again with ANARCHY for the win.
:: Blood Thirst battled back and forth with Pariah and finally got the elimination with DEATH RITUAL.

- There is a lot of animosity between these two teams. Crusade escaped with the win, but this match could have gone either way.

Locke coming out on top of his teammate is BIG! Wonder how that will go over with Wright...

Shepard would be an awesome addition... Perhaps if someone in Wetworks needs replacing...

What's the deal with Serat? Is he normally a coward or did Hybrid and Warfare induce that effect on him?

Locke winning the ESSENCE surprised the hell out of me - he hadn't been very good at all in the previous matches. Lincoln Alric has been the one carrying that team - wait until you see the fallout.

I had always planned on having Shepard make an appearance - the question is, why is he back? Does the earthquake have something to do with it? Hmmmm...

Blue Steel has surprised me as well - they are doing much better than I thought they would.

I tried to put myself in Serat's place - If I saw that beast Hybrid running through my teammates like a hot knife through butter (cause that's exactly what it played like), then I might be afraid to face him too. Was trying to give a little character to Serat.

I really thought Pariah was going to pull out the win - it was so close. Crusade has been on the receiving end of some timely good rolls of the dice - there is no way that Witchdoctor should've beaten Kincade. The way I see it, the New School has a lot to be upset about and I'm certain they will share their thoughts on the situation very soon. Also, the New School doesn't play fair - expect some consequences for their losses.

Of course the earthquake was bad news - just like the black, ominous clouds that herald a coming storm. Things are just getting started. Remember, Witchdoctor proclaimed that "Murdok's revenge looms - the end is near!"

Syndicate looked very focused in their first match - Shadowclan did not stand a chance in this one.

Excellent work by the Syndicate! I'm a big fan of Neuromancer, so I can't wait to see him go after Locke...

I was surprised with how easily they seemed to get past Shadowclan... Especially since the 'Clan had their act so together in previous showings.

Trouble seems to also be being within the Citadel itself... Can Wright keep his team on the same page? I'm thinking he better... 'cuz I'm sure that teams like the New School and the Coven are eager to knock them down a few pegs!

You've got some awesome momentum going on Eliath! Can't wait for more from CWA aCe: Evolution!
